TFTC, this was a tricky hide but we were determined to find it and after much poking and prodding we found it!
Over visiting from NZ for a month and today is our last full day. I needed a few more finds to crack 500 for the trip and set a new monthly record. This group of caches in the Burbank area looked like they would be ideal for an early morning wander, before the day reached the predicted 34 degrees .. Continuing on now. This one took a while, until finally located it somewhere I would not normally put my hands in Aussie. As others have said, it was 8m closer to track and was pushed right in so have rehid securely but more accessible. TFTC
I did look in this spot but obviously didnt look properly as Lacuna__ had a look and found it straight away, shes in a roll today! TFTC
As others note, co-ords off by about 7 mtrs...which then means LOTS of hides. Took a while, &, indeed, I missed it on my1st sweep. A torch helped. TFTC:-)
The cache is a little closer to the trail than the marker says. But its pretty easy if you look in the obvious spots . Very enjoyable to find
I am needing a J animal for a challenge cache and theres one in this area. Ive also been wanting to find this Big Bang Theory series of caches, so with hubby, we parked in a small area off Mt Cotton Rd and did a circuit walk over a couple of hours. Later we discovered a safer parking area on Cherbon St. We had 12 finds, all fairly easy, and one DNF. We enjoyed our walk in this lovely area. Quick find and all good here. Signed logbook and replaced as found. Tftc
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Capalaba after parkrun.I found your cache, Sheldon today. This is my 2339 find.Quick find once in location.TMRabbit, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

SaintsMadHouse and I had escaped for another day of Wednesday Madness. We had decided on this area of Bushland to start our day with and would then branch out with other stuff later.
We may have gotten slightly distracted by the awesome toadstool near this one, which I somehow initially didn’t even see despite its size. Thankfully SaintsMadHouse pointed it out to me knowing I love a good fungi photo.
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.

A enjoyable walk around this reserve collecting caches along the way. A nice straightforward find here. Thanks TMRabbit
The GPS wanted me 6 m away but this looked the more obvious spot and sure enough there was the cache. TFTC
Set out to complete the big bang theory today. Quick find here. TFTC TMRabbit
I had intended to ride through this bush land to collect all the Rats and any other stray in the general area but on arrival I noticed the NO BIKES signs at the entry. I don't know why as these fire trails would have been perfect to the ride. However there were council rangers at the car park so the bike stayed in the car today. That said I had an enjoyable 8 km round trip for the morning.

Last one on this circuit. Need to move onto the next track in the coming days.
So many options to hide this one. But in the end an easy find.

Quick find with Tim. Definitely not something I'd willingly stick my arm into. TFTC.
Today after attending the Van Gogh Alive exhibition, I decided to head out solo for some bushland walks around Capalaba. My first stop was J.C. Trotter Memorial Park and detouring past the various *Big Bang Theory* geocaches, and then I took a few more miscellaneous walks grabbing some of the oldie geocaches in the vicinity. After exhausting my water supply, I decided to finish off my afternoon with driveby geocaches and short walks, in particular, finding a few more of the *Saturday in the Park* (SITP) series.
In the end, walking around J.C. Trotter Memorial Park past the 17 geocaches on offer took about 2.5 hr with a mix of jogging and walking. There were a few other muggles about either jogging or walking their dogs, but I was largely solo during my trip. I am a fan of the *Big Bang Theory* TV show, so although the geocaches weren't physically themed, it was still a nice dedication series.
I arrived here, and after a short search, I managed to make a reasonably quick find of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another stop along our walk through the bushland today. Cache is good order. Thanks for placing it.
A tricky one, but as we expected it would be, thanks ‘Sheldon’!
Collected the trackable and left another for the next Geocacher too! Safe travels little one!
Thanks For The Cache! #324

Wow. This one has got to be the most frustrating cache I've found in a while! Well placed and can't believe it took so long to find...actually with the amount of hidey holes that existed I can believe it! Leaving very happy knowing that persistence paid off! TFTC
Was worried that this one was going to be tricky but hubby found it within seconds. Good hide. TFTC
Out for a morning of Caching with the Geokids. Approaching GZ we spotted so many great hides, process of elimination (sheldon would be proud) and we had the right formula to scribble our name on the log. All is good with the hide. TFTC
Gotcha Shelly! Bazinga! I seriously don’t know how I missed this place before. Anyway I’m delighted that I have found all of the Big Bang gang. Thank you for placing and maintaining all of these caches.
Spent way too long trying to find Sheldon. Dad was ‘surprised’ by the local goanna hanging around one of the surrounding trees. Little frightening!
Anyway, I guess we’re coming back for this one.
Anyway, I guess we’re coming back for this one.
This was my third visit (the second one today). No luck and it’s getting hotter. I abandoned my GPS and have looked in every hole and crevice I could see. I’ve stuck my hand into all of them too. Sheldon can get stuffed.
Out for our sunday Caching session with BFG.
Ahh Sheldon, i knew that this would be more complicated than the others.
but hungry and tired, but unwilling to give up, he finally came to me,
i open it up to sign the log reaching into my pockets for a pen, and it gone, no problem i picked up a spare. its gone too....
we will be back soon to sign the cache.

Took us longer than usual to find. Sneaky hide indeed even after getting exactly to GZ. Left a Maui swap for others. TFTC
Sadly, after half an hour of scratching around and a message to the very helpful CO and a previous finder, I have to move on. Sheldon has eluded me today but I will be back to find him and the rest of the series. and I have had a wonderful morning finding some of the Big Bang gang, but it’s time for us to move on.
On the trail and here for another one. This one had us searching a little longer than any of the rest. TFTC
Oh no! Sheldon has changed. Was all ready to find him in his previous state but now he is so different. Cool ... calm ... and collected.
Day 2 for RoddyC's treatment. Out for my fix.
Quick find after a deep breath.

Sorry generic part of the post.
What an awesome day or should that be exhausting! Out with geonayfee to try and complete 50 plus caches in a day. With this cache we completed it.
We completed 2 series and a few target caches, a few earth caches and a couple of puzzles…. Awesome day and a lot of driving and walking but the challenge was completed, thank you for being part of our challenge, next is 80 in a day

Chamad was telling me the other day that he was wanting to try and do 50 caches in a day for the badge, so yesterday I asked if he was keen to go out and find them. We organised a time and place to start our run which was by Burbank. We wandered around a few reserves and then decided to head towards Springwood for a few Earth caches, mystery’s and trads.
All in all we had a great day out and we’re both completely exhausted.
Sorry for the generic post.

TFTC smile 5652 out and about with miss Millie geo dog on our way Southside to pick up a few oldies, caches that is, had a big day, picking up all the big bang series as well. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC 4ando *353* streak. *2119* Finds
Not far off the path, but of course the cache named after the show's most annoying character would be slightly more difficult
I am recovering from hand surgery and can only write (poorly) on stable surfaces, so please accept this unicorn stamp in lieu of signing the log.

Early morning bike ride to collect the caches here.
Was expecting the main character to be difficult but this was one of the faster finds for me
Thank you for this cache TMRabbit

Found with stairman1 and geopuppy. Sheldon was so dorky. This cache was an easy find. TFTC
Gotcha! Lovey walk out in JC Trotted memorial park today. Tftc G'day shilly shally
There were Lots hiding spots here and Roxy and I were lucky enough to find this cache after looking in a few other spots. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Lots of different spots this one could’ve been hiding but I got lucky and spotted it pretty quickly. TFTC!
Midday after arranging to meet ESCR to complete Makku Mob - Tingalpa we stopped for an ice cream which turned into 3pm lunch because Oddiewan looked at his stats and saw he only needed 20 to reach geocache find number 200. He found Trotter park on the map full of 18 hides— all with recent finds and logs with the likes of “quick find”. A plan was then hatched— neither of us had enough battery power to last the whole hunt so we made the plan to economise our devices turning off all redundancies. We parked at the trailhead and headed off, with the idea that we spend only 5 min at each hide and employed a bit of a get-ahead approach where I remained to sign the log, once found, while he ehaded off to search for the next. In most cases I caught up before he had laid hands on the next one. It was efficient and we found all 18, only one in poor condition (but dry). A brilliant day ending in us finding the final three back near home. Thanks for all the caches. This was a great park to send a Sunday afternoon. Cheers, semik
I was in need of 11 gems for the mystery at the museum challenge and the filters suggested this would be a good place to tackle today. I am a fan of The Big Bang Theory show, and enjoyed finding these caches. I have been told I am a lot like Sheldon...not sure how to feel about that. Nice hide here. TFTC
How good is it walking in here, there is not one hill at all plus there is a rest stop chair on every corner, not that we needed it as we said there are no inclines in here of any sort. Why don’t they put these chairs on the sides of mountains, they would be very handy there.
Lots of little nooks and crannies to search here so we packed up the GPS and used our instincts and eyes which worked a charm.

Not as much bush bashing for this one. Found quickly too. Then we realised we left the pen back at the last cache. Didn't want to back track so improvised with a stick and charred wood as ink. Not the best signed log but will have to do. TFTC
Had to make Sheldon (my fave character) my 100th find! Thanks so much for the cache and series! Teazr and Spellzen
Much like most of today, I ditched looking at my phone as the GPS was bouncing all over the place and eventually came up with the cache in hand. We specifically mapped out the caches we were going to hit first today as this trail had been on our radar for some time.
With Teazr's 100th find coming up. We decided that her 100th would have to be her favorite character of big bang theory! With her 100th find complete and the day coming to a close, we decided to end our days adventure here and head back to the CapGeotiva (before the gates were closed and we would have to sleep in the car XD).
Thanks for the trail and we will be back soon for the last 5 =).
Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr

With a new cadre of souvenirs available during the Cache Carnival promo, today we planned to target caches which have a handful of faves (and simultaneously get some good exercise!) by riding around and tidying up the caches we've yet to find in the big bang, rabbit and rat series.

Walking past Big Bang 1 and Amy which we had found a couple of weeks ago, we showed James and Matty for interest, then searched for a while here to find Sheldon. Finally Mrs George grabbed this one, just as a council truck drove past on the track. We think they are putting a couple of extra seats so the elderly geocachers can sit down for a rest!. Anyway, with our name in the log book, we went in search of the next cache along the track. TFTC, TMRabbit.
Got up early for our venture around this bushland reserve. There were a few smiley faces from a long time ago and it was good to see a new bunch of caches. We especially liked the novelty hides. Thankyou TMRabbit for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Sheldon was a bit elusive: always the dark horse...
On a breezy day, I had to keep looking up to make sure nothing was going to fall on me, but so far so good.
All OK here so TFTC.

Having deviated from my route to do Amy, I couldn't resist the temptation of Sheldon lying a couple of hundred metres away, so I raced down and made a much quicker find here than I was expecting when I first saw GZ. (Lots of potential hidey holes!) Thanks for the cache and the series, TMRabbit.
Found with the geohound this afternoon. All good with the cache. Enjoying the nice wander peacefully along the tracks.
