Logs
TFTC had to read some past logs for this one, great hide. Made us work for it
Over visiting from NZ for a month and today is our last full day. I needed a few more finds to crack 500 for the trip and set a new monthly record. This group of caches in the Burbank area looked like they would be ideal for an early morning wander, before the day reached the predicted 34 degrees .. Continuing on now. This one took a while, until finally located it somewhere I would not normally put my hands in Aussie. TFTC
theres two cache boxes very close to each other had us confused when me and Carolyn had our hand on one we turned around and saw Lacuna__ holding the other one TFTC
After some looking in obvious spot we had to think outside the usual hides around the area. Very clever, two heads are better than one
Little bit trickier than the others we've done today. Eventually, I poked around with a stick and heard plastic. TFTC
I am needing a J animal for a challenge cache and theres one in this area. Ive also been wanting to find this Big Bang Theory series of caches, so with hubby, we parked in a small area off Mt Cotton Rd and did a circuit walk over a couple of hours. Later we discovered a safer parking area on Cherbon St. We had 12 finds, all fairly easy, and one DNF. We enjoyed our walk in this lovely area. It was a bit more in my taller husbands face. All good here, logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Capalaba.I found your cache, Amy today. This is my 2340 find.Quick find on 2nd look.TMRabbit, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

SaintsMadHouse and I had escaped for another day of Wednesday Madness. We had decided on this area of Bushland to start our day with and would then branch out with other stuff later.
Amy was tucked in further than necessary , only coming to light after a serious scratching around by SaintsMadHouse with a stick where we couldn’t/didn’t get to on previous looks.
Thanks for the cache TMRabbit.

It was the first and the last place we looked... with many in the middle [;]
Thanks!
Thanks!
Set out to complete the big bang theory today. Quick find here. TFTC TMRabbit
I had intended to ride through this bush land to collect all the Rats and any other stray in the general area but on arrival I noticed the NO BIKES signs at the entry. I don't know why as these fire trails would have been perfect to the ride. However there were council rangers at the car park so the bike stayed in the car today. That said I had an enjoyable 8 km round trip for the morning.

After reading the hint I was looking at all the head high options, but alas I was wrong.

Good find by Tim. The coords were a bit off for us on this one, they took us too far into the bush but we backtracked and found the cache about 10m off the track. TFTC.
Today after attending the Van Gogh Alive exhibition, I decided to head out solo for some bushland walks around Capalaba. My first stop was J.C. Trotter Memorial Park and detouring past the various *Big Bang Theory* geocaches, and then I took a few more miscellaneous walks grabbing some of the oldie geocaches in the vicinity. After exhausting my water supply, I decided to finish off my afternoon with driveby geocaches and short walks, in particular, finding a few more of the *Saturday in the Park* (SITP) series.
In the end, walking around J.C. Trotter Memorial Park past the 17 geocaches on offer took about 2.5 hr with a mix of jogging and walking. There were a few other muggles about either jogging or walking their dogs, but I was largely solo during my trip. I am a fan of the *Big Bang Theory* TV show, so although the geocaches weren't physically themed, it was still a nice dedication series.
I arrived here, and after a short search, I managed to make a reasonably quick find of the cache. I did need to use my phone camera to confirm no were calling the cache hide home, before reaching around to make the cache find. I also didn't think the hint made a lot of sense to be honest, but the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TMRabbit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Had a bit of trouble finding Amy. Good to see she survived the fire though. She was well hidden in a location that although we checked out initially, we need to be a bit more adventurous in our searching. All good otherwise with the cache.
An easy find with DisSister as the cache was sitting out in the open but luckily was not burnt from the recent burn off which still had the smell of charcoal lingering in the air. Not sure as to its regional location so placed in the nearest of two possibilities. TFTC
The area around GZ had recently been burned which made for nice easy access. Checking one possibility on our way to a GZ, we found nothing but turned around to see the cache sitting on the ground in the middle of the burnt out area unscathed. Not sure where it was originally hidden so we have placed it in the most obvious feature.TFTC TMRabbit
Took us a while but the hint and some other logs definitely helped. What a cool spot!

Out and about for the day clearing out this reserve. Had my eye on it for a few years but with a bit of motivation and a day with nothing better to do saw a bunch of trads turn into smileys . TFTC
Out for the Morning with the Geokids. This one had us stumped for a little while. The hint certainly helped as there were some great hide locations around. Mr 12 made this grab and after a quick scribble was replaced as found. All is good with the cache. TFTC
This is indeed what COVID 19 hairstyles look like... Especially mine after coming back from UK, then quarantine then everything shut.

Out for our sunday Caching session with BFG this one proved slightly more tricky than first thought.
But in the end BFG bet me there.

Love Amy!
Amy: As my mom used to say, "When you're doing a puzzle, it's like you've got a thousand friends." She was full of fun lies like that.

Nearly got me again! Definitely in your face. Only found it 2nd time I looked there. Creative hide! Well done!

Very still morning today. Nice fresh morning. Oh someone lost their cap.
Quick find refreshing the cache and returning.

TFTC smile 5649 out and about with miss Millie geo dog on our way Southside to pick up a few oldies, caches that is, had a big day, picking up all the big bang series as well. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Out today with my Geocaching’s buddy Grannysmith1947. Our target again was one old cache and a animal cache for that animal alphabet challenge. Have two more to get. After that one it now leaves me one to get. Yippee .
But there is 17 caches in this park, I have to clear this park out. Found 16 one DNF, so not to bad I think.
Then Grannysmith1947 notice another old cache in the park next door. So we had to visit that old one to.
So two old caches today. And 4 yesterday
Plus two 2006 ones too
Sorry for the generic post
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC TMRabbit *354* streak. *2136* Finds

The GPS Was a bit bouncy and prior logs were no help, I sadly had to abandon mission. Which was annoying after picking my way through the bush.
But I think at this point in my walk I decided I was getting quite hungry and would go home for lunch rather than visiting all 18 caches!

Early morning bike ride to collect the caches here.
A good ride here and an easy find, just follow the geo-path.
Finding this one made me rule out some hiding spots for the rest of the series.
Thank you for this cache TMRabbit

Found with stairman1 and geopuppy. I loved Amy. She was great. So is this walk .
At gz my geosenses were taking me to one spot but I soon realised there was no cache there. The hint then helped me find this nicely hidden cache. Love this hide. Thankyou
I feel like I am getting lucky finding these quite quickly with so many options. GPS spot on here, TFTC!
Midday after arranging to meet ESCR to complete Makku Mob - Tingalpa we stopped for an ice cream which turned into 3pm lunch because Oddiewan looked at his stats and saw he only needed 20 to reach geocache find number 200. He found Trotter park on the map full of 18 hides— all with recent finds and logs with the likes of “quick find”. A plan was then hatched— neither of us had enough battery power to last the whole hunt so we made the plan to economise our devices turning off all redundancies. We parked at the trailhead and headed off, with the idea that we spend only 5 min at each hide and employed a bit of a get-ahead approach where I remained to sign the log, once found, while he ehaded off to search for the next. In most cases I caught up before he had laid hands on the next one. It was efficient and we found all 18, only one in poor condition (but dry). A brilliant day ending in us finding the final three back near home. Thanks for all the caches. This was a great park to send a Sunday afternoon. Cheers, semik
I was in need of 11 gems for the mystery at the museum challenge and the filters suggested this would be a good place to tackle today. I am a fan of The Big Bang Theory show, and enjoyed finding these caches. Haha not in the obvious spot, but quickly located. TFTC
We were full of sweet victory after finding the last caches and had a good feeling that we were going to have a lot of good luck in here, hopefully we’ll even leave with no DNF’s. The day was quite overcast but no rain had actually fallen on us yet, it was perfect weather for walking, no way were we going to break out in a sweat in this weather.

Now this one had us stuck for quite some time, even the hint helped a little but reading previous logs helped us on the right track. Soon the cache was in hand, a quick sign and off we went. Well done with this one. TFTC
This one took a while. Mainly because I was so use to all these caches not having hints, I just didn't bother looking. Once I checked out the hint, the spot became clear. Great hiding spot!! Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
With a new cadre of souvenirs available during the Cache Carnival promo, today we planned to target caches which have a handful of faves (and simultaneously get some good exercise!) by riding around and tidying up the caches we've yet to find in the big bang, rabbit and rat series.
This one was rather clever, I moved *something* and **tada** there it was! Could have been much harder, was glad of a quick find in today's heat.
Adding another FP to the pile.

What. A. Spot. This was in such a great hiding spot, what a great idea. TFTC!
well that took awhile girls and guys separated after a long search mr. nascar182 came up with the goods tftc
Well... after seperating from the geo hubbies and a long search we found it. Tftc
Got up early for our venture around this bushland reserve. There were a few smiley faces from a long time ago and it was good to see a new bunch of caches. We especially liked the novelty hides. Thankyou TMRabbit for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
After looking at all the possible spots where I might locate a cache, like others before me I read the clue. In no time I had the cache in hand and the log signed. A very sneaky hide, but ended up quite obvious. TFTC, TMRabbit.
I felt nice and alone out here on a weekday afternoon... until a BCC truck came by, but I don’t think they saw me.
The nice geotrail here led me to the spot but I disregarded the obvious until I resorted to the hint. Good one!
All good here so TFTC.

With limited phone battery, I was only planning on doing the northern loop before heading back to my car, but I couldn't resist checking this one out, especially to see what was meant by the Roald Dahl-themed clue from a recent log. It was the great man's birthday just a couple of days ago, after all!
I quickly understood the reference and made a fast find as a result. What a great hide! Thanks for the cache and the series, TMRabbit.
