Unfortunately, there has not been a response to the last request/s to attend to this cache, or provide regular updates. As a result it must be assumed that the cache has been abanonded by the cache owner. As such I am regretfully de-listing (Archiving) this cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained here: [**Unarchive a geocache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.
If you wish to contact me regarding this cache, please send an email via my profile - [Bunjil,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.
This one has recorded a few DNFs or maintenance requests with no response from CO juanmatt. Maybe it should go to the big cache cache in the sky to save wasting people's time and to clear the space for another placement.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Pretty sure this one is missing. A local who see's many looking for this cache came to help us and was able to confirm its exact location and it's not there.
After a very thorough blind search, feeling around all the internal surfaces within reach on several times we were unfortunately unable to find it. It might be us or it might be muggled.
MazzyMay and I spent a few days in this area and had a go at this one. Trouble is we came away with a DNF. TFTC
In the company of Dippa46. Long arms, torches, touchy feely, much turning and twisting etc but 'buttons for eyes' prevailed, we even returned several days later for a rerun with the same results. Better luck next time.
A nice quick find on a day out in Castlemaine. After finding two before, we headed over to this one. After a bit of blind searching, the cache was discovered, signed and replaced. Nice hide. TFTC
Out for lunch meeting my sister for her 50th birthday. Arrived earlier so thought we’d go Geocaching! Our daughter found it. Think it’s a bit larger than a micro?
Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada.
Finally found some time to get caught up in my logs
Please see The Marathon Man's Log for our experience finding the cache

Stopped off here to stretch our legs and pass a little time before checking into our BnB on the latest leg of our round Victoria trip. Liked the name of this cache so just had to have a look for it. Great place. TFTC.
Found on walkabout with GeoMom... Book is a little sad. Needs new one but thanks anyway. Nice cache

On a mid-week motorcycle ride with a coffee stop in Castlemaine. It was a nice, relatively short walk from the coffee stop to GZ, so while the rest of the group headed off for their next destination, I came for the hunt before returning to my bike to take a scenic route home via Guildford and Daylesford.
It was a nice quick find, despite the cache not being exactly as per the description. The container doesn't seem to be magnetic anymore.
Apart from the magnet, the cache is in good condition.

Had to be wary of early morning muggle walkers making their way to the gardens nearby. Found the cache in good condition although the log book is a bit tatty and could be replaced. Really enjoyed the bit of history in the description - some amazing things happened here.
Thanks for the cache, my 3rd of 5 on a run around town this morning.
Cheers and hi from Canberra!

My first one for my break staying up in Castlemaine.

Second place I looked.
Thanks juanmatt TFTC.

After putting my hands in all 4 of the openings, it was the last one that gave up the cache.

Some sweet excitement on a sunny Wednesday afternoon, instantly inspired to pick up some Knick knacks from the nearest op shop to spread on the fun sass + p
Visiting from Sweden with daughter living in Melbourne. It turned out that all sorts of events going on in Castlemaine this Sunday - artists' market, farmers' market, open gardens, etc. Nice surprises all! We spent our time taking in the history and contemporary culture of the area - this included the stories told through some geocaches in and out of town. Thanks for this little piece of engineering, industrial and infrastructural history! And the cache attached!
Like the previous comment stated...I felt like a vet pulling a calf but the cache was found & replaced.

After lunch it was a given that we ventured this way. The big girl panties were pulled up and I felt like a vet pulling a calf, but Nevermind, I soon had the cache signed and replaced. Tftc
Caching around Trentham this long weekend has had us on many a road less travelled, which opens up a whole new world of surprises and sites to see. Having made it to Castlemaine we found the streets to be very quiet due to the AFL Grand Final. This was great for us as it allowed for an easier and more thorough search for the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. A nice winter's sunny day and a trip to Castlemaine with some caching in mind. Nice to see a factory still producing in Aussieland. Looks like it has had a bit of a revamp since we last visited. Nice to see. Interesting cache - Doc loves the ones with bits of machinery to explore. TFTC Cheers
Spending the night in Castlemaine before taking geoKids to a Girl Guide event in Bendigo tomorrow. It was our junior caches turn to find this hide. Fascinating area. Thanks for the info.
Thanks juanmatt for the cache.
Here’s to cache number 358. Let the fun continue.

We pulled up to this one and someone pulled up beside us, walked past gz and commented we were geo special. Magnet not strong enough to hold it in its place but it’s still hidden. TNLNSL TFTC

A trip to Castlemaine with my Geobestie and all our Geokids - Jessiebella87. A quick find on this very cold winter day. TFTC!
Out with sorceysal and 08151605 caching in the area. Came to GZ. It was what I expected to see and soon had the cache in hand. Of course it helped that 08151605 had already found this sneaky hide and had long arms..

Out and about with 6hinemoa2 and 08151605. Still freezing cold and the hands don't seem to want to warm up. LOL
08151605 had already found this one so he was able to assist with the retrieval as my arm wasn't long enough. LOL Thanks juanmatt

Logbook pretty tattered and basically full could do with an update! Quick find.
Took awhile to find this cache. Had to wait for some muggles to pass. Interesting location. Beautiful autumn day in Castlemaine.
Lovely day for cache hunting, and a quick find here. Had to encourage a little spider to move along in order to retrieve this one.
Log is running out of room and needs a replacement.

Caching while on a long weekend camping trip. Found with fayemous65, her Geokid2, and my squigglemuppet. Took a bit more hunting than it should have.
