### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Spock1967,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

We were heading back from the QOGM zig bagging our way picking up caches along the way.

We were down doing the Harry Potter series so there was no way none that I was going to drive passed this one. This truly is an amazing mansion as are the grounds around it and the history involved around it's walls would be very interesting. It would be fantastic to go for a wander around, even just the outside to admire the early architecture and the workmanship but today I has to settle for a cache find and a few distant photo's.
Happily the cache was a nice easy find and our name has been added tot he log.

Many thanks Spock1967 for placing this cache highlighting such a great looking building.

While on the Harry Potter Power Trail, we noticed this one on the map and I thought "Why not?" Hubby stayed in the car ("It's not Harry Potter, now is it?") but after a bit of ducking and weaving I soon had the cache in hand. Also a twig in the face, but that's the price of being a clumsy cacher Very Happy

Out with Swimmagurl and Geo-Mum. We decided on the ‘Harry Potter Power Trail’ and a few extra ones along the way! Smile It was a really nice day for a drive across the country side because the sky was blue, the birds were singing and the ground was green and dry so there wasn’t any mud! Smile Thank you to all the Cache owners for placing all the caches we found! Smile

Found along the way of the HPPT. We didn't have time to stop and look at the Castle but it is a a great spot to bring people.

Found this cache easily and wondered at the lives of the people who had lived in this castle. It certainly looked impressive and would have been a feature of the district. After signing the log all was put back as it had been found. Thank you to Spock1967 for placing this cache.

#4683 - 15:39; Out on a day run from Canberra to Carcoar and return with Sol de lune, primarily to collect caches in the History of..... series and the Harry Potter series. Our route had taken us out as far as the Carcoar Dam Road and we were now on the return leg. We had now hit the Harry Potter MPT, which took us down a road I'd not been on before through some picturesque countryside. Sdl had logged this cache on a previous visit, but I was happy to add my name today. TFTC Spock1967 Smile

Thanks Spock1967.

12-Jun-16
Came for the [Iandra Castle](http://iandracastle.com.au/) open day today. (Discovered it is technically called "Mt. Oriel homestead")

Lots of muggles around today so skipped this cache and enjoyed the location to ensure that it remains hidden to attract others here! This building is definitely worth a look - and if you get the chance to come during an [open day](http://iandracastle.com.au/when.htm) ... all the better!

12-Jun-16
Easy quick find while at the castle open day.

05-Jun-16
Plans were set in place with fitzy_1965 and AngelG27 for an "invasion" of several country towns between Yass and Cowra. We managed to dodge the worst of the drizzly weather to collect a decent swag of caches on what was a fun day with great company! We signed with the acronym SAFi ("i" for invasion Big Grin).

Quick grab for me and AngelG27. It wasn't on our strict schedule but it was 10m from the car! Big Grin

Thanks for the hide, Spock1967 Smile

05-Jun-16
Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a geocaching mission to collect a few numbers for Fitzy_1965 as he has a mission to find 2000 caches this year. This mission was from Canberra to Borowa, onto Cowra, Young, Grenfell and back home. We travelled well over 700kms over 13.5 hours! I found 54 caches in total, my best ever daily total, and surprisingly 5 FTFs! Fitzy obligingly did all the driving and SpecimenX and I made most of the finds, although SpecimenX had her caching glasses on today and was quick to spot most of them. We had solved a few puzzles before leaving so we were well armed to collect both trads and puzzles. The rain/drizzle/mizzle did not slow us down and we had a great day of caching and laughs. Totally forgot to mention we signed the logs as S A F I (for invasion).

30th cache of the day found at 1310 by SpecimenX. A late decision to stop, but it made sense since neither SpecimenX nor I had found this one and it was around 10m from the car! TFTC Spock1967

We really need to come back here when there is an open day, to look around this house. I left bikerbuddy to find he cache here, while I just looked at the limited views we had of the property.

Thanks Smile

22-May-16
Toriaz had been excited about seeing this house. So while she went to the fence and took all kinds of photos, I dutifully went the opposite way to do cache duties here. I took a look at the place after I was finished. It really is very impressive. Thanks

24-Apr-16
I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” Throsbyonchurch and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.

I found this cache jointly with TOC and now I have my own account I am claiming my fair share of the finds. I can cache on my own now. As I didn't have a caching name so there's no log book for me. Thank you for the hide.

A day out caching as Team Dumbledore's Army (Darzee Di, Ryan Girls, FrannyJ, Starlight and ynnbub) with the Harry Potter trail as our destination. Looks like a great place from where we were. A shame it wasn't open so we could see it up close! TFTC Spock1967

16-Apr-16
Team "Dumbledore's Army" (ynnbub, The Ryan girls, startlight, Frannyj and me) mission today was to put a spell on the Harry Potter mini power trail and we all dressed up for the occasion. After not finding the last one of the trail we were a little sad but finding this one made us smile. I loved the castle and saw a sign on the gate of when it is open and thought I would love to come back and go inside and look around. tftc Spock1967

I had a caching route planned for today, grabbing a few T5 caches and a power trail, with scattered caches between them.
As I am still a great fan of the harry potter series I had to drive the extra distance to complete this power trail.
Thanks for the cache.

On geocaching holiday and staying in Grenfell for a couple of days. Decided to do the Harry Potter Trail caches and Iandra Castle cache, and was not disappointed. Finding the caches and signing the logs was no problem. Loved the contrasting landscape - the area is in need of rain but. TFTC

After our busy period with the animal minding business slowly coming to an end, a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild for an assault on the caches around the region. The weather was kind, warm and overcast.

We stopped in Yass to commence this assault and then moved further north to Cowra.
After Cowra we decided to have a go at this mini powertail which this one happened to be at the end of.

Awesome looking castle close by, very impressive. Quick find of the cache close by too.

Plans were put into place with one party of the FurfacesLL team to do a country drive and pick up some caches in Yass, Cowra, Young and surrounds. We made plans to set off early and headed North for a long day of caching. After finishing off Yass, we headed further north.

We had now finished off what we could in Cowra, and finishing off the Harry Potter mini trail, this was out next find. WOWWWWWWWW what a VERY impressive castle!!! It looks incredibly spooky which actually makes me even more interested. OMG I wanna go inside lol.

Log signed, cache replaced and on we went.

Thanks for the cache placement Spock1967 Smile

Again I am reminded why geocaching is the best tour guide around Smile
Rather than join the high speed crowds along Henry Lawson Way on me drive from Young to Grenfell,
a trio of caches took me via a slightly longer, much more interesting, and way more relaxed drive Big Grin

First stop was here !!
I couldn't believe me eyes when I saw the castle stuck way out here in the rolling fields [:o]
I would personally call it a 'folly' Razz
Very interesting place though [^]

And a great little cache hide to go with the strange surroundings too !!

TFTC, definitely a favourite Smile
