Cache found after a short search. Thanks for the fun.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Cache needed help so replaced on the top of the stump under the bridge A nice walk along the trail today, a good variety of hides that some need new co ords but other than that they are a bit of fun. Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
My favourite find of the afternoon, although I didnt find it, and no one could spot it until we had a second look on the way back. I couldnt believe that my eldest geokid spotted it, standing around casually munching on an apple, when we were about to admit defeat! Great hide.

Usually we walk/run the Moe end of the rail trail bit decided to grab some caches up this end today with the geodog in tow. Tucked into a spot near the original co-ords log is dry & has been signed. Tftc!
Loving this trail - very calm and sheltered. Arriving at GZ - That was a most unusual find - fairly certain this was not the original container. Log rather dilapidated but still able to be signed..

Out again for a caching morning in the excellent company of Tiz13 with the target to find caches along the rail trail Searched everywhere around here with no joy so moved onto the next cache. Stopped on the way back and there was the log on the trail but no container. Placed it in a safe spot but a bit far off the coordinates. Will need the CO to reposition it correctly TFTC Poiter.h
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the Moe - Yallourn rail trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask. I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. Stood out like a sore thumb to me.
Thanks Poiter.h for the cache.
Thanks Poiter.h for the cache.
I was looking it the whole time but kept discounting it. Eventually after continuing on my walk and coming back I thought why not and it was the actual cache.
Lucky we came as a team to retrieve this one, it took 3 of us!
The geokid that was carrying the TOTT was having trouble with his little legs and was quite some distance away

Found while in the area with gwd.aussie and Sharon14 to pick up a earthcache for International Earthcache Day. I have already found around half the series and was interested in continuing the series not only for a nearby cache I required but I am undertaking a walking challenge so a series along a rail trail was ideal. The others having found this stood back while after a brief search I spotted the cache and soon I was able to claim the find.
Thanks Poiter.h for the cache - I have not quite finished the series so I will be back.

I nearly gave up on this one, but then I got lucky and I can see why this one is easy to overlook. In fact I needed to find a stick to knock it loose. But happy to say that it's indeed there, if a somewhat unconventional cache. Hope whoever looks next time can be as lucky as I was. TFTC!
Found this cache on the second visit, after getting a hint that my GPS that was saying about 12 meters North of the great bridge was slightly out.
Taking another look here and the cache was quickly seen. Took some time to sign however, but managed it by 11.45 am.
Thanks for the cache Poiter H

Tftc. Wont tell you how many times I've jogged past this bridge without realising the significance of this little object. Similar to steel teeth in Morwell.
Although I spotted this one before Sixy2Sue and retrieved it I am quite happy to share it with her.....
Despite the fact that I spotted this one easily, GrassyKnoll insisted he found it (a claim based the fact that he helped retrieve it.) Team effort I reckon.
Had a great afternoon out with grannygeo64 suzibound and cjprex this was really clever tftc
Last one on our walk for today. Being height challenged....lucky I had some co cachers with me that could assist. Has been a real pleasure doing caches along this trail. Tyftc.
A great arvo cache'n in the company of cjperx , apple460 and grannygeo.
A great day I had searching with more geo-cachers

Didn't have any luck here either. Tried to look in all of the "obvious spots" but sadly couldn't find the cache
Well what this made for an interesting find between thinking of climbing the bank and deciding whether i needed to scale the bridge. Id decided to try something i had previously looked over and to our suprise we had it in hand with grannygeo64 tftc
This was a great hide very in your face not what we expected found with lilmissgeo tftc
A great day out caching with SQAU.
We headed west to find new caches.
Spoted it from many meter away.
This is the 10th cache of the day.
This is my 1215th cache all up.
Thank you for the hide Poiter.h

The entire geofamily spotted what needed to be spotted and then individually discounted it as too obvious for Poiter.H . Eventually we decided to try to obvious and bingo the cache was in hand. Thanks. Silkyie
Nice hide. After ringing poiter.h and telling him I was going to do the rest of the rail trail he said he would meet me and come along for the walk. Thanks poiter.h for the cache.
We have found quite a few of this type of hide over the years, which is why we are embarrassed at just how long it took us to find this one. In our defense, today our GPS had us 13+ metres away from GZ.

The call of the Rail Trail got to us, so BettyBoo3747 and I loaded up the deadly treadlies and set off for Moe and the MTY trail.
Our GPSr had us quite a way out on this one, but the title helped.
Nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7478. The forecast for Moe was a hot summer's day so we decided to leave Melbourne early and head for the MTY. Robmc and I also hoped to log a Challenge we had recently noticed, once I fulfilled a couple more requirements today. We hit thick fog not far out of Melbourne which was not in the plan. Wet feet and a fraying temper to start the day.
Now we reach the last hide for the day and a different hide again. These bridges do look good from down here on the trail and so does the old timber retaining wall just before we reach GZ. I can see the trail continues on but not for us today. We need to revisit our nemesis and go back to the Botanic Gardens for lunch. Such an enjoyable ride on this now sunny day.
Thanks Poiter.h

This was the last one for us on this trail before we rode back to our Motorhome for lunch. Nice one, thanks Poiter h.
Taking the bikes to Moe, and cycling the trail is a good idea. Even brought another set of eyes to help!! This was the first find, even though the gps put me 20 meter away!!
Our last find on a very satisfying afternoon of freedom with kyabbott and we were so happy to reach the end of this trail (although there are still a few in the middle we need to tackle at a later stage). Our GPSs were a little confused at this one so we did some unnecessary scrabbling before relooking at the most obvious spot and kicking ourselves for not looking closer the first time because there it was! Another great hide, we have really enjoyed your trail Poiter.h. Thank you for your dedication to this sport and your skill in creating creative cache containers.
Kato Potato and I arrived here at the end of the trail, so keen to make it four from four. We waited whilst two young fellows on bikes approached us and the blasted kids decided to stop and look at us. We got impatient, they sidled up, I said hi which obviously spooked them and they were on their way. Searching commenced - we immediately discounted a treacherous looking side of things and started scaling the other side. I searched from on the bridge while Kato reported from halfway up on what she could see that I couldn't. Then we made an awkward descent and followed our GPS devices; Kato's still behaving bonkers. I rumbled around in some bushes, Kato backtracked and inspected interesting sleepers. Then something made me go back, look and realise I'd seen something interesting. I used a native implement for help, dislodged the cache and we signed it happily. TFTC Poiter.h, I've got four to go now, Kato has two. Watch out!
Found this today after out 7 th visit, you could kick yourself sometimes when you find the cache wondering how you missed the so obvious cache
Thanks Peter for the cache
Thanks Peter for the cache
This is an effective hiding method, and an interesting old structure. This was the end of the line for today, and time to turn around and head back. Thanks to Poiter.h for the cache.
I did a MTY cache maintenance walk today.
The cache is fine and in the right place.
Happy hunting

Spent most of today looking for these caches ,only managed to find one . Wish there were hints for these and a description of the cache ! Poiter you must be the master of disguise
A phone call from Slink1 asking ‘what’s on for the weekend?’ found us down in Morwell for other reasons and it was a case of well we’re here now and so the hunt began Many thanks to Poiter.h for the time and effort of looking after this cache. TNLN SL

Congratulations kmps for this well earnt FTF. There were so many possibilities for this one. After a bit of scrambling by Mr De Ja Vu, Mrs De Ja Vu saved the day and spotted the cache for Mr De Ja Vu to retrieve. Thanks Poiter.h for a nice variety of cache hides and an enjoyable bike ride
This took a little while but got the little fellow in the end. *** FTF*** Thanks poiter.h FTC.
