Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. The answers quickly found and the final with the big box as well. Many thanks to opted-out user for this cool multi and for hiding.Best regards, searchersab
Super happy to find this cache. Beautiful area thank you for having me explore it. Kinda reminded me of NZ and someone even left a cool plastic weta in the cache which I was please to adopt. Thanks for the hint too
Nice place for a cache. It was raining a little bit, but it didn't matter to us. Found the place Thanks for the cache!
This one was fun!! Grommets very excited to find their first bug & excited to write some poetry. Stay tuned. Thanks
Together with 37 Cachers, we start a journey to Australia and New Zealand via Doha.In Qatar we spent one night and had almost one full day before heading to Sydney. In Australia we visit the cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns. In New Zealand will be Aukland, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. To save Logbook space, we signed the logbooks with our team-name "DownUnder24".Our Teammembers are:\_gc_, AmoebeST, AndyausDu, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-Tina, Gazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, Hfi1, hupsi-1, karrai*, Leilah03, lenny love, Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, Ollilein, Opaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins, Simowl, sozioma, Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuoThank you for the Cache.
Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia and New Zealand for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar .We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien und Neuseeland .
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt. We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went on nice excursions around the Melbourne area.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.
After trying to work out what the answer to D was, we took a punt and followed the track. Went bush bashing as thats where the coordinates took us - looks like plenty others had been there before!. Couldnt find it but with the clue in our head we scrambled back to the track defeated and started heading. We kept Looking for things that resembled the hint as we walked back and eventually by chance there was something that took our eye and we checked and there it was!! As it turned out we definitely didnt have to go bush bashing as it was beside the track!! Thanks to Muggle Jamie who accompanied me and found it!!! TFTC
Good fun. Had to download a GPS app to plug in the coordinates. Even then it was a bit of fun tracking down the location.
I would have probably skipped the lower views and missed an opportunity to see things from a different angle if I hadn't been looking for this cache. TftcMy travelling companions enjoyed it too.
Travelling with some friends from all over the country to Lorne for the week. We'd come here yesterday and walked right past this without knowing, I was glad to roughly know where to look once I figured out the coordinates. A great hide in great condition, TFTC!

Last question stumped me a bit. Looked on satellite image which triggered the cogs to change my thoughts.

Find # 12721
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A family weekend away in Anglesea. Down here to enjoy and cache the area.
Last time I was in Anglesea was Oct 2018 and I had left a few unfound. So back again to claim some more finds in the area and tackle the AdLabs
Numbers worked out and off to GZ we went.
Wow great to find an ammo can and not a nano in the bush...

Find No. 4327. Found with FUF009 at 12.40pm
Another weekend in Anglesea caching the area and finding caches we didn't get last time we were here (at the end of May). Geodog Penny came with us again and this time FUF009 came along as well. FUF009 hasn't been down to this area caching since October 2018 so he had quite a few to find. Today we made our way to Lorne caching along the way as we went.
In Lorne and first up we stopped near the Surf Lifesaving area for a cuppa and eats before we done any caching.
Next we went to Teddy's Lookout, which was busy with tourists. We worked out the multi, then Mr Tyred n Cranky and FUF009 went off the find the cache. Mrs Tyred n Cranky and Geodog Penny stayed at the lookout and sat on a seat in the sun. We felt that the walk would not be suitable for Geodog Penny.
Mr Tyred n Cranky said the walk was worth it, and was very impresed with the hide.
It was an easy multi, in a great location, and the short walk was well worth it for what you found - an ammo can and NOT a nano. For this we are giving it a favourite point.

A very nice multi cache my first actually definitely liking this one the container was cool but the adventure was better btw the lower landing is St George River lookout TFTC fine number 93
What amazing views. Thanks for bringing us up here. Bus load of tourists arriving as I was leaving
I had driven done to Lorne to visit family who were camping just down the hill from this cache. In the afternoon, after a Easter *pub lunch* we all went for a walk up the hill to the Lookout... fabulous views on a not so fabulous day! While we were up there I took the opportunity to hunt out this cache... with the help of my Granddaughter... she quite enjoyed looking for the answers to the questions. After doing the required calculations we wandered off to successfully find the cache.
Thanks to **Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon** for putting this one here.

We came to checkout the lookout which had great views we then saw there was a cache here so decided to do it.
The answers were easy to locate and once we entered it in we set off to locate made a quick find with the hint. Thanks for setting up this multi cache.

I found this cache while travelling along the Great Ocean Road as I slowly made my way from Adelaide towards the Mega event over Easter at Rutherglen.
After collecting the required information and determining the final coordinates, it was off to GZ a short distance away for a quick find.
Cache and contents are in excellent condition.
Thanks opted-out user for the cache.

Another day on the Great Ocean Road. Today we where in Lorne, and we also did some geocaches. We started with the multi Teddy's Lookout. What a beautiful place. We had al the answers, and after a short calculation we went to GZ. We found the big cache at a nice spot.
After that we where going forward on the Great Ocean Road up to Apollo Bay. Along the way we do a few more geocaches, including this one.
We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)

Great view at the start and at the lower landing. Loved the hide and the wall it took us on. TFTC
Awesome hide. Would have not found this lookout if it had not been for this cache.
Sat down with DN and read all the logs, great to see them go back to ftf in 2013.
Love large hides like this!

No luck today. Still need to tweak the coordinates. We will attempt this again next time we are in Lorne
I was staying in Lorne to scatter my Mums ashes as she was the DON of the hospital here. Doing a few caches before I leave. Crunched the numbers and headed to GZ. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Ollie Baggins. All good with this multi
We are spending our last night in Victoria in Lorne so walked up to Teddy’s Lookout for the view and some caching. It was busy with a school group arriving at the same time. Simple little multi and all good at gz. Tftc
Found it! Very tired legs after Amy’s Gran Fondo ride yesterday but well worth the little stroll down to find the cache. Great lookout, thanks for taking us here
Loving the walks around here. TFTC. Wanted to keep walking but have to get home to do many things!
An epic little cache to do at night, great fun and the starfield looked beautiful, thank you.

Thanks for the great cache, we got the gz last time we were here with a interstate friend, but she didn’t want to walk to the gz (plus I already had my one cache at the arch!) anyway down here for the weekend, so another reason not that we need one to go to teddys lookout!
I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Today I’m traveling from Anglesea to Sugarloaf, past Lorne.
It was getting late in the day and there were some great views from the lookouts. I bumped into a UK mother and daughter who were on vacation and talked to them for a while as we watched the sun start to set. There was som conjecture here given there are two lower lookouts giving two different final locations. The one on the way to the lower lookouts made more sense so I stuck with that. The cache was found just as the sun was about to tip behind the horizon.
Thanks Ollie Baggins for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Coordinates worked a treat along with hint. Nice find in a great location with hparkinson
This was a great multi. Never my favourites as I can never seem to get the coordinates quite right but worked this one out and found it without too much difficulty. Thank you for bringing us a bit further down the track than we had planned. Lovely area
So thought I'd get out of Melbourne over Easter and find a few caches, I'd just hit my 1000th cache so thought I can't stop there.
For this trip I visited Aireys Inlet and had a beautiful cottage for 5 days, took some long walks along the waters edge and even ventured into Lorne for an Adventure Cache.
The wife tagged long with me to this wonderful spot. Lots of caches nearby and a great adventure cache as well.
What a great spot to go find some caches.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

A drive from Bellbrae to Lorne today with Bogonghazy had us finding some great caches and enjoying some amazing views, and exploring new places. Thanks for bringing us here OB and ND. This was a wierd one for us, as we checked and re-checked our sums. It was only on our return that we spotted something similar to the hint that we made the find, a good 100m away from our numbers.
Out for the day with LittleBoss2 on our short escape to Anglesea. Today we started from Bellbrae and worked our way down to Lorne finding caches and Labs. This one was done in conjunction with the EC and the Lab cache. Had lots of trouble with the figures, and it was only through pure luck that it was spotted. The distance to the lower platform is approx 50m, but the numbers needed are closer to 100m, in our calcs anyway.
Nice to see an ammo though!

I am ashamed to say that having been visiting here for many years, I have never been up here to Teddy's Lookout. How stunning!
I brought my reluctant Geowife here, but she was thrilled to see this amazing view. I crunched the numbers and wandered off to find the cache as she enjoyed the view. Great spot and good to see such a good sized cache.
Thank you for the cache, Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon, but especially for bringing me up here.

It’s been a beautiful sunny winters day today so naturally we decided to head down the Great Ocean Road for some caching. Have come to Teddy’s Lookout a few times whilst passing through Lorne but today we decided to tackle this cache. Once there we calculated the coordinates with help from previous logs regarding step 4. A lovely stroll through the bush to GZ, having the cache in hand quickly - TFTC
It was a cracking day and this was the perfect spot to visit killing a few birds with one stone. I started gathering the information but was stumped at D. Once I realised there was a much lower platform and a sign on the path, I was in business. There were a few muggles around but luckily I was able to sign the log when the coast was clear. Thanks Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon for the oarsome views today.
A long weekend meant a family camping trip to Wye River. And of course a cache or two. A great walk here. Easy multi and magical views. We want to live in the house on the hill! Many thanks for the cache.
TFTC! Managed to solve three of the clues easily, got a bit stuck on the fourth but had a guess based on the only things available at GZ and then realised this was correct based on past logs. Easy find once the co-ords were put in. Thanks for taking me to such a stunning location!
A long weekend away with n0w0rries and a couple of my mates, celebrating my birthday tomorrow.
A rather familiar lookout. My mother had a bad fall here many years ago and broke bones.
We were very careful not to slip.
Thanks for a great multi cache Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon.

Walked around the tramways track and up from George River to the lookout. Clue D was a puzzle at first till realised the George River lookout was the 'lower landing'
getting the coordinates went down the track to look for it. The clue sent me scrambling up the bank but not success. Was about to give up but then went further down the track and found an easy access

Beautiful walk and found it with my girlfriend and her best friend!!! Great cache
This was our first time up to this location and what a view! Interestingly, there is QR code for the Great Ocean Road history trail which sheds some light onto the name of this location. We did the math and enjoyed the walk out of the wind to GZ where one of our favourite types of containers was laying in wait. A fav from us. TFTC
Catching up on some old finds completed when I was not a premium member. Found end of Feb with MrSiomiak and Hailstorm.

Fantastic views, thanks for bringing us here. Nice walk to find the actual cache. Left a TB
Great views here on a perfect clear day today, and a beautiful morning for a walk. Hopefully I'm not spoiling anything by saying that the 'lower landing' is the St Georges River lookout. My phone was a bit off GZ, but the hint led us straight to the hide. Thanks Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon for bringing us here.
Really fun and enjoyable cache to do! Although the weather wasn’t great I managed to solve/find it TFTC!
Awesome cache. Loved the clues. My first ammo box. No koalas but great view.
Actually found this 6.04.20 but only logging now. Awesome (big) cache in a lovely spot.
Greetings from Scotland. We are driving from Adelaide to Melbourne in a large motor home and have finally arrived at the Great Ocean Road. We are meandering along from Apollo Bay to Barwon Heads today. We had stopped for the cache on the pier and decided to head up to the viewpoint to see what we could do with this multi. We gathered our answers and punched them into the GPSr. We saw where we needed to go and decided to have some lunch before heading down. The pie shop in Apollo Bay had been recommended to us and we bought a couple of pies this morning. We got them out for lunch. MrsF was not pleased when a Kookaburra swooped and stole hers straight out of her hand. After lunch we headed off to see what we could find. We came across the hide easily and sat nearby to sign the log. We always like containers like this.

Today we have our final day next to the great ocean and heading to Melbourne for Christmas. The calculations were done quickly and also gc was an easy find. A great place for a cache. Thanks for this beautifull little track. Favo in.
#3871 Making our way down the coastline today taking in the cooler sea breeze on a hot day inland, we rolled into Lorne for lunch. We then headed up to this lookout for this cache and a new EC.
With the geohounds in the car, Mr BGF gathered and crunched the numbers then tagged with Mrs BGF who went and gathered the cache, team work at its finest . This way we both got to take in the speccy views. Combined with a nice final we left a fp here today. TFTC Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon.

NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I were on our much anticipated Great Ocean Road trip. Heading through to Adelaide from Melbourne, we were on our way from the Spit Point lighthouse when we noticed an FTF here. So decided to add that to the list. We stopped at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, then this area was to be our next stop.
With info for the earthcache gathered, and answers sent, it was time to set about solving this one.
With maths worked out by wombles and co and NyssaFlutterby while I sent off the answers to the EC, it was soon time to head off for our find. Along the way to the final we got extra lucky, with NyssaFlutterby spotting a koala along the way and pointing it out to us.
At GZ it was a quick find of one of our favourite types of containers, the first of its kind on this trip.
Thanks for the cache Ollie Baggins and Nature Dragon.
NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I were on our much anticipated Great Ocean Road trip. Heading through to Adelaide from Melbourne, we were on our way from the Spit Point lighthouse when we noticed an FTF here. So decided to add that to the list. We are on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Membsec from Tassie, Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo and Wombles and Co all from Queensland. We met at the airport, late due to Jetstar’s strike (4 hours delayed for the Queenslanders) and then hit the road. We have a good selection of caches that we really want to get, so many in a short amount of time.
Day2
We did the Earthcache first and then this multi. It took some time to work out GZ.
