I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

I am well behind on logging caches, attempting to catch up.
Apologies to CO's for not logging specifics about their cache.
We certainly appreciate all the effort cachers go to hide and maintain their caches.

We found this cache today at 7:50pm as number 17 of 18 on our Gisbourne to Castlemaine trip. Located this one after dinner at the old Railway Hotel. An easier time searching at night with no-one around Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.

Found with Achoemma on a day in Castlemaine Geocaching & Waymarking

Found this one after a thorough search of GZ, we probably picked the wrong time for this one as a train had just rolled into the station, but after a few minutes the muggles disappeared and I was able to have a search

Usually have trouble with hides in these type of locations, but this one was found after a few minutes at 4pm. Had to be a bit careful as it's a very muggly area, but was able to find and replace without problem.
thanks juanmatt

18-Jun-14
The light was fading fast so we didn't think we'd have much luck finding this one but luck was definitely on our side. Love the wooden wheels, haven't seen one like this before. Thanks for showing us! SL TFTC Smile

06-Jun-14
After a very filling dinner at the nearby yum cha, we walked it off with a cache. A train must have just come in, so we had to dodge muggles, but after a little bit of searching, the prize was found. What a great specimen of a trophy, in great condition. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

17-May-14
Geokids got sidetracked playing & climbing trees but geodad came up with the goods.

27-Apr-14
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Team Crackers, at 0930. What a magnificent specimen, and different from the more common 'memorial' type. With four pairs of eyes, it didn't take nearly as long as usual to find. Our thanks to juanmatt.

27-Apr-14
Traveling with maccamob after staying the night in Bendigo caching our way toward the Canadian Creek Cito later today.
We pulled up here to get some lunch and were happy there was a cache so close by, although neither of us have a great track record on these sort of hides. We started our search in less than 10 minutes we had the well hidden cache in hand, really glad it was not the usual nano.
We added our names to the log and enjoyed our lunch discussing the WW1 trophy.
Our thanks once again juanmatt.

25-Apr-14
Bogonghazy and I came up for a long weekend of caching and to attend the CVG Annual Anzac event. I cringe when I see these things at GZ, but luck was on our side today and the cache was in hand within moments. Yay Big Grin Thanks to juanmatt for all your hides over the weekend.

25-Apr-14
Found with Sully1 after the event here in town while touring this beautiful part of the state. SOmetimes you get lucky at these and while I crawled under, Sully spied it from above, making the retrieval a cinch. Thanks again juanmatt

Out and about this morning, to capture some local caches before the Central Victorian Get Together VII Event @ 11am. The Vline bus supervisor kept looking our way. Fortunately a bus pulled in and her attention was diverted.

found after the Central Victorian Get Together VII: At the 'Maine and what a nice cache to do on ANZAC day Lest We Forget.

25-Apr-14
A trip to Castlemaine for another instalment in the Central Vic Get-Together events and a chance to spend a bit of the day finding caches around town.

Well, this could havebeen a lot more time consuming than it turned out to be. The last gun I searched on took almost 30 minutes and ersulted in a DNF only to be found soon after by another cacher.Sad This time it was less than 30 seconds for the find.

Thank you for the cache juanmatt.
#2870th @ 1550hrs and 20th of 28 for the day.

24-Apr-14
After a thorough search under over and around I was prepared to call it quits, but not Muggle Hubby, he defeated the enemy and reigns supreme

20-Apr-14
Between the steam train crowds. Found it. TNLN TFTC.

15-Apr-14
Oh no not one of these is what we though when we pulled up but we got on with it as they do provide a challenge. It wasn't too long before Geoson came up with the hide.
TFTC

14-Apr-14
Obvious but worth it. Cache took a bit of gymnastics to procure and with muggles around kept things interesting for me bellarat and maximouse! TFTC

05-Apr-14
Stay at Castlemaine for the night after caching around this beautiful small town.
thanks goodness nice quick find.
Thanks for the hunting and cache

22-Mar-14
Flully's first find (logging it late). A ball had by munchkin one who enjoyed the hunt very much. HE IS HOOKED I think

02-Mar-14
The young geo kids were the perfect cover for us to search as we climbed on, around and under this item today as there were a few muggles at the near by station. After a bit of a search geo son 1 got a hand on this well hiden cache and it was soon logged. We have done a few of these hides before and it always amazes me how many hidey holes there are on them. TFTC.

25-Feb-14
Had a quick look, but too many people hanging around. Left it for another time.

26-Jan-14
Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Smile Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.

Many thanks juanmatt for placing this cache.

26-Jan-14

26-Jan-14
whilst camping at warburtons bridge for the australia day long weekend with kinkell1, Misscheif18 we had a day of caching & mica paramedic joined us for the day.

took nothing, left nothing.
thanks for the cache- highrod from Ballarat.

26-Jan-14
Found while out caching with highrod, Kinkeel1, TilleyTB and micaparamedic. I usually shy away from caches on these items. Thank goodness I had help! TFTC

16-Jan-14
Found where to look easily, but it took ages to actually find the cache. Mostly because there were heaps of people around so we spent lots of time pretending we were interested in the history of the place! We didn't manage to get it until after dark and the station master was looking at me strangely by then. We had fun with this one. Thanks Juanmatt.

15-Jan-14
Found at 0630. In the cool of the morning forecast 43*.

13-Jan-14
Great hide, thankfully no muggles around 10pm. Would've been extremely hard during the day at a place like this. TFTC Smile

11-Jan-14
I sometimes dread these types of caches but it didn't take long for geo junior to have cache in hand. It was starting get busy so a bus or train was due. Thanks juanmatt.

10-Jan-14
Feathertop and I started early with a couple of caches in Gisborne, then a quick run up to Castlemaine.
Home in time to go to night shift (and before the day got too hot!)
This is an old gun, not at all like what we usually search.
A good sized cache here though.
Thanks, Robmc.

10-Jan-14
I was rather pleased that Rob found this one fairly quickly as there had been a recent DNF on it. I don't like gun searches particularly but this one was different. Far fewer of the usual hiding spots and a tad rusty.
Thanks juanmatt

05-Jan-14
Found on a short 2 night holiday with LumpyJRB who is on holidays from the NT. We had a great day out geocaching and made about 28 finds over 2 days. The main highlight was completing the Fryers Series. The weather was kind to us and we only had one DNF on this trip.

Well this was our DNF for the day. We gave it a red hot go but with increasing muggle traffic we decided to let it go to keep the hide safe. Will be back another day. Thanks for bringing me to this neat bit of history Juanmatt.

04-Jan-14
As noted in previous logs, a kid is a good distraction as the carpark can be busy. TFTC.

01-Jan-14
Found quickly, a nice easy hide!Found on our road trip!TFTC

01-Jan-14
Stopped to stretch. Scenic spot next to the railway. The station is also worth a look. Great selection of pies if you're into these. TFTC

Found by our nimble 8 year old. A fairly busy muggle spot so I agree good to have kids as a decoy!

15-Dec-13
Good catch here on a sunny day a good catch not to do in the wet oh we only have sunny days in castlemaine

14-Dec-13
Found pretty quick TFTC

25-Nov-13
drove past a couple of times yesterday
but the car park was full and overflowing with the steam train running
snuck back in this morning dodging commuters to have a look

I usually do alright with these sort of hides ... but came up with nothing here today [:o)]
over ran my allotted search time - and we needed to get on the road to Melbourne

thanks anyway

One Family - Two Nights Camping - 25 Caches - One FTF!!!

We headed up to Castlemaine Friday night, enabling us to make an early start to Maryborough so we could see Katy's niece compete in the RACV Energy Breakthrough on Saturday morning. We were able to fit in an hours caching on the way back before getting ready and heading off to a 40th birthday celebration. Sunday morning was a nice relaxing pack up of the camp site and a good few hours caching around Castlemaine and Campbell's Creek, including one impromptu FTF, before grabbing a bite to eat then heading home grabbing a few along the way.

After packing up the campsite we started our day looking for caches. This was the first and after parking the GeoRanger we made our way to GZ and started the search. Campbell using his willingness to get down and dirty made the discovery.

Thanks for the cache juanmatt!!!

24-Nov-13
Very handy having a child along...no one looks twice at a child clambering around. Smile

15-Nov-13
Yay!

10-Nov-13
I wasn't aware of the trophy status of GZ. All quiet on a Sunday afternoon. TFTC

10-Nov-13
As we drove away from Fryers loot we checked the phone just in case #6 had been posted. Not so but ah there was a new one in town. The only problem was that the basic phone that we have doesn't have enough memory to open up the cache page. So off home we raced to get the co-ordinates from the computer, thinking we were still maybe in with a chance to be first. Checked to see if Romax had been there yet and could not believe our eyes......3 people ahead of him. At this point we decided not to race down so had a cuppa first. Mr Morris- right time, right place you can't beat that!! Thanks juanmatt.

Mr Morris caught the train to work this afternoon, Lady Morris was home catching up on reality tv and updating her Facebook status when this new cache was published. A quick glance suggested that it might be findable without a GPSr so she called him just as he was walking from the station to work - about 100m away from the cache. He knew exactly where it would be and soon had it in hand just as team number 2 arrived. Tnx for a bit of Sunday afternoon fun.

10-Nov-13
Just back from 'The Pinies' when I saw this appear. Raced down as fast as I could only to see I was actually THIRD! The quick and the dead. SL TFTC

10-Nov-13
Found by Roma and Max.
This has been a very busy GZ today.
Thanks Jjuanmatt for for adding another cache to what is fast becoming a very popular destination for geocachers.
These items are popular destinations and can sometimes be very frustrating.
Regards,
from Romax.

Was at Gz playing another game and caught ftf pulling out the cache,
