Hi Clontarf Beach Scout,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

No luck here, bumped into 2 fellow cachers just as keen to find this cache, but walked away empty handed....
Couldn’t find no matter how hard we all looked, that’s a group of 6 people mind you. It may have fallen. Really hope it hasn’t been taken.
Slowly heading south after being unexpectedly detained in Mackay for two weeks and orders of not to travel too far each day
After leaving our accommodation this was the first one we grabbed

Had fun today finding this cache. Love the park and lake. I was out chasing caches in the Moreton Bay Region for the challenge. TFTC Deception Bay Scouts #1187
Probably took us a bit longer than it should have, but eventually we put our hands in a place we hadn’t tried before and came up with the cache.

After spending a couple of hours at Bribie jetskiing, caching and getting something to eat we were now heading back home. We decided to skip the highway so that we could come into Caboolture to make another find on a cache that we have looked for before and left with our tails between our legs.
On arrival we are amazed again at how many men just park here and sit in their car, what’s up with that especially when there isn’t even a toilet block in close vicinity. We had this problem last time we were here and with tinted windows in every car nowadays there is no way of knowing if they are staring at you and in Mr 4ando’s case what area of you they are staring at.
We were lucky enough to have a distraction here today as some Christmas lights are strung up on the area we wanted so we casually pretended to look at the lights that weren’t turned on and in no time Mr 4ando managed to slip the find into his pocket and we walked off to sign before returning. Another one we are glad to turn into a smiley.

Was looking for something much smaller than it was, checked all the letters back at first. Had been here before with the geo dog but shes not very patient and is inclined to want to go in the other direction to me. Only two of us looking today and it was soon discovered. Tftc
This took way longer than expected. I thought I had looked and felt everywhere (that steel gets very hot in the full sun!!), but still had nothing. I read the hint, but still that didn't help.
Then I went back to the geomobile and had a look at the gallery. Ah.....thats what I'm looking for. I was feeling for something much smaller!! Then another feel around and the cache was soon in hand. I reckon I'd had my fingers on it a few times, but I was feeling for a smaller container and so didn't realise what I had.

Last cache of the day and a bit of a milestone I now realise, although unaware at the time. After a family BBQ in Burpengary catching up with a former exchange student from USA who was here 40 years ago, we were trying to squeeze in some more caches for the Hidden Creatures challenge on the way home.
Nearly back to the highway, this one was a good spot to stop. A camper close by but no muggles in sight, so we had a good look all over before finally spotting what we were after.
Getting a bit dark now so will need to call it a caching day - success with 10 today, pretty good for us.

Our first attempt at this one was in December last year and we could not find it. Very kindly Team Dunmowin sent us a message that very day after they found it and gave us a few clues. Today found us back in the same spot. M checked that side and I checked this side. Nothing. Reversed sides and M came up with the goods on my side!
After camping near Caboolture for a few days, we stopped near here on our way out of town. A quick check of the GPS showed there was a cache to be found very close to where we were parked. It was quickly located and our name was soon recorded on the log. Then it was time to get back on track for the day.
Thanks go to Deception Bay Scouts for adding this cache to the game.

Took two attempts (one was back in January), but I found this time as my torch proved helpful.

Farewell to my frenemy. This took three long goes before I phoned a friend. The things I’ve seen at this cache. The homeless ppl will be able to sleep in peace now that I’m going and won’t be back.

Lovin’ ‘bulcher... so I go looking for it and I feel I’m gonna have a win here, but I hear some pretty loud waling. It’s a girl on ice who’s been dumped there by her friend. He’s in a van in my viewing distance... she’d sold herself for a pack of smokes. She was 20 and talking about her son. Son apparently is possibly with his father. Police turn up to do an RBT. I go and greet them and tell them the situation & ask them to look after her. I gave up and I’ll try again soon ‘bulcher! Nothing changes *sigh*
Back again and this time we were not leaving until the cache was found great to turn this one into a smilie TFTC
had a few attempts at this one without success but we live close by so we will keep trying
Think this one is either missing or fallen to the floor within the structure and is therefore inaccessible.
After three - or maybe it is four attempts at tis cache, first time back in 2014, then again in 2016, we thought we would give it another go. Returning from lunch with muggle sister and cousins, now was the time before heading back to the caravan at Clontarf
Could not believe that today was the day we finally converted an unhappy blue face to a yellow smilie face.
Finally I can say, thanks for the hide Clontarf Beach Scout

Found while caching with fng-affl, after seeing the structure, I just knew there had to be a cache here, and thanks to Deception Bay Scouts, there is, now with my sign on log
**# 17364** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect sunny winter day for a quick afternoon drive around Caboolture.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here.

On my way to an Event today and stopped off for a quick park and grab. Signed log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
GeoMs really wanted to find this one, had help from geokids too, found it! Posed for the camera like tourists(unpublished) and that was it for today, Nice hide tftc and remember - lifestyle really counts here
Haven't had too much joy in the past with finding Clontarf Beach Scout caches. So after picking up a few caches around Morayfield took the Bruce Hwy over the river and down to this quaint little road. Have driven past this landmark a number of times and this is the first time I've made the effort to stop.
Sized up the structure and went back to the car for a TOTT. Before even using it, I found the cache in the second spot checked. Bargain!! Thanks for the cache Clontarf Beach Scout.

Finally with a little help from my friend! I am sure it was not there last time I looked!!
Quick park and grab on this one. On our way to Hervey Bay grabbing caches on our way to break to trip up a bit. Thanks for the cache.
After a first visit and nog finding took Geowife. After some stretching and reaching into some blind areas found it with wifes help
I have already found this, but came here with Phil Serenity. It was a quick find. Search with your hands, not your eyes.
Third attempt on route to work and still no luck . Is it still in place? A small creature has taken up residence in the structure! Could hear it but not sighted
Out for a drive from our base in Caboolture, tackling some that I did not have time for last time we were through the area. Tried this one a few days ago, to no avail, so back again, armed with all the tools under the sun, but still no good. It is still there?
On our way to visit muggle friends at Sandstone Point, we had passed here quite a few times both this visit, and two years ago. Time to put this puppy to bed! Oh, No, a DNF. Despite spending almost 1/2 an hour, we could not find the little blighter.
Now home, checking previous logs - and photos, we are armed with all typed of implements, and will have another attempt in the next day or so.

Our second visit for this one and came equipped with some caching tools to assist us. Geowife made the find and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Clontarf Beach Scout
I was due to meet IolantheK nearby to set off on a Whacky Wednesday. The run up form the Southside was better than expected so I was a bit early. Early enough to find a cache.
A nice safe spot to stop away for the main road. A very quick hunt at GZ to locate this one thanks.

Spent about half an hour looking for this one and didn't come up with anything, but we'll be back.
Have been out here in the day time but muggle traffic has been too great - what a difference the night makes - tftc

Out for a night wander with the geofam. This was a nice hide. Beware the muggles....
Found on the way home with a couple of other cachers that had previously found it, however this needs some maintenance as the tin is very rusty and a lil sharp in places.
**Smilie #3875**
Checking our map & there are way too many green spots around Caboolture for our liking! LOL ...
Time to make a few changes!
28 of 30 found today!
A nice quick find!
All good with the cache.
Just got back on the road (off the grass) as the Highway Patrol came past!
Signed & replaced as found.

1707 - I stopped off here to grab this well hidden cache today at 10:33am. I looked on both sides of the structure and on my second sweep I felt it in its hiding spot. As I was signing the log down near my geo mobile, the local police turned around and took off after somebody. This takes my current streak to 5 days in a row. Thanks for the cache Deception Bay / Clontarf Beach Scouts.

[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
