Had time to myself and spent a good half hour looking in every book and cranny I could think of, but still came away empty handed.
even though many people liked this one and it is certainly central - im going to have to off load it.
Searched high and low – look at everything we could possibly think of. Spent quite a bit of time here, but on this occasion have come up with nothing. Will have to come back. Lovely area – just watch out for cars when crossing the road with children as they can be some blind corners
We had the place to ourselves and were able to make a quick find. Sad to see how much rubbish there was around here. TNLNSL TFTC
I came up from the Gold Coast to visit a mate today in Deagon. This was my first stop. There were people in the rotunda, so I grabbed some lunch and joined them to eat. Eventually they left, and my lunch was finished. However, I still could not find the cache!
Oh well, at least lunch was nice.

After dinner and a couple of wines with friends we decided to tackle this cache. We went around in circles for ages and finally looked where I should have looked first. Nearly hit my head when I found it.i was so excited. Great to find on rememberence day. Tftc. Very clever.
We were heading to Sandgate today for a BBQ with our relies for my birthday, the BIG 60!!!
I just had to combine it with a bit of our favourite game!!
We had had a great day at the BBQ and this was just up the road we headed on up!!
I also had a special reason for coming here as I didn't have a "Y" for the ABC Challenge Cache so it was good to be able to pick it up.
We made this a lot harder than it should have been as we searched in all the wrong spots but ever reliable Geo Wife came up with the prize!!!!
The log is completely full and also the added piece of paper!!
Thanks YYabbie TFTC SL

nice round-about. waited for some muggles but reailised they were not going to move, started the search. Jacob_barton CONNOT spot these ones. nearly found it straight away. Found with Jacob_Barton. TFTC
Went for a quick caching detour with 6-year-old geoson. Wasn't that quick a find though. Read a couple of logs and eventually got it. TFTC yyabbie Log is nearly full again.
Had been staying in the local area and done a few caches.
This one we had eyed up since our arrival and just after the sun set we were in town and thought we would give this a go.
Approached GZ and the first thing Mr NZT does when searching is raised his head too fast and hit his head!!!! OUCH!
Mrs NZT had to show how it was done with full dedication and had the gleeful FOUND IT moment. Mr NZT will not hear the end of this one for a while.........

Finally a muggle free area! Having driven past a few times even having breakfast nearby once or twice we were constantly muggled out.
Having grabbed a few nearby that were muggle free I took the chance to add this to the list for the day. Tftc. Recovered and returned on a windy day.

I drove around the block twice before I found a parking spot and then headed to GZ. Luckily I only had to watch as one muggle walked past and picked some lavender and placed it at the memorial and walked off.
I thought I knew where to look and started there but I was looking for the wrong type of container.
After walking around the area twice with the torch light of the smart phone I had a bright idea about the type of container and returned to my first search area and soon found it this time.
Glad that I was here at the quiet time of the day. TFTC.

Didn't think I was going to get this one. GZ occupied by muggles listening to rap music and looked like they'd settled in for awhile Dashed over to Dominos and by the time I'd finished a pizza, they were gone Pretty sure I knew what I was looking for and sure enough, there it was...only I went the long way round to get it....duh! But got it figured out to put it back Log is full, managed to squeeze in the date and half my name though. TFTC yyabbie, good excuse for pizza before jumping on the train
I felt really conspicuous with all the muggles wandering about and with the sign stating that the area was under 24 hour surveillance. In a moment of inspiration, I reach down and made a quick discovery. TFTC yyabbie.
Today we teamed up with Roostaman and diverted to this one while doing the Monster series. A lovely area to explore. Found inbetween sprinkles of rain.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

It's a cool and lightly raining day trip around some of the monster series with the Tassie Trekkers.
The log is now full and needs replacement.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.

Did attempt this one, but area was being repainted. Next time for the lost boys!!!

Day 15 of the mega caching tour of Queensland, and the two week trip was predominantly spent finding some of the states' older placed caches, as well as some of the more difficult terrain caches. On my travels this morning, I stopped by to grab something to eat, and noticed this one was just across the road. With very few muggles around, I wandered over and soon found the cache. A lovely urban location.
Gratias yyabbie.

Out and about in the area before heading to a nearby event.
I parked close by and walked to a few caches nearby.
This was the second stop ... a short search before finding the cache as it was now out in the open.
Tucked it under for a little better protection. [:)

Second visit to this park, unfortunately GZ area is used by local ? Homeless or jobless. I have also driven passed several times & it is never empty. I will keep trying as it is a great spot. TFTC I hope I find it one day!!!
Find #1409 at 17:17. A quick find in the first obvious spot I checked. Gotta love that. [^]
It was also helpful that there were no muggles in the vicinity. I can see that this might be a problem here at times.
Thanks for the cache, yyabbie.

Log is completely full. Managed to scrawl my signature without interfering too much with anyone else's, but it is in desperate need of a new log...
Not too many muggers today. But still too us a few minutes. Got the smiley in the end and thats all that matters. Log full but didn't have a spare.

This area seems to be cursed for me. Second visit back and there were Council workers installing garden irrigation right near GZ. I happened to drive past later, and they were still there... On the last drive past as I was going home the, area was free so I ducked in for the grab. Nice placement, it's a real gem! TFTC
TFTC,
In the area for an enjoyable Indian meal before going to a Concert.
Grabbed this cache and visited some trackables.

Dropping a colleague off after work today, I decided to take advantage of the emptiness of GZ to try for this cache at last. Previous visits to the location had always been thwarted by occupants of the rotunda, and while the detritus of such people remained, the people themselves were absent at last! I checked in three places before finding the fairly obvious hide - it's all a matter of just being in the right spot, really. Grabbed it and hopped back up to sign it undercover, but found the logbook squished full and I hadn't come prepared so couldn't help. TFTC, yyabbie. =^.^=
This is not an easy area to be stealthy. It took me a lot longer to find than it should have due to not wanting to do anything conspicuous.
!!!!!!tftc!!!!!:) easy find popped out on the train for a journey today always wanted to stop here but always bypassed it but not today !!
Couldn't get close enough to look, the muggles here were enjoying some early morning imbibing, and were still here an hour later when I returned
I had 20 minutes free before I was due to collect my son from his gymnastics training this afternoon. I had previously DNF'd this one. Today, I spotted the cache pretty quickly. My hunch as to what I was looking for was correct. Don't know how I missed that the last time I was here.

As we reached ground zero I thought about the title and said to hubby "Okay, I reckon it's either there or there". I looked in the first place I suggested and hubby looked in the second. He came up with the goods rather quickly. He's getting good at spotting different cache types now. This park is lovely and well kept. Unfortunately the rotunda was a mess. It looked like a group of people had had a party there and left 3 pizza boxes, several McDonads drink cups and other rubbish strewn all over the place. There was even a T-shirt left behind. Be careful if you have children searching with you - We also found a bong nearby. (Hubby didn't want to touch it.) After we signed the log and returned the cache we had a look at the nearby monument and a walk around the park. We came across a pair of very soiled underwear, covered with flies, over near the garden. Ewww! I will notify the council tomorrow. Sad to see such a pretty park treated in this way. Thanks for the cache yyabbie. We have often driven around this area but have never had a reason to stop and have a look around ... until now.
Headed out to find a few more caches, in an area we had started previously.
Good hide, in a lovely park.
Many thanks for placing this cache, yyabbie, for us and others to find.

This one has eluded us before so determined to conquer it today. Knowing yyabbie's preference for cool containers helped us this time! Tftc must be time for us to try our hand at planting one soon....
Baby muggle strangley interested in our search today mother muggle thought it was nice baby muggle had found a friend. Soon baby muggle found an ibis to chase and we soon had cache in hand. TFTC
Talk about cache blindness... looked right over the hide despite having the structure to myself and being flat on my stomach... read the previous logs and discovered the error of my ways... insert face palm here... tftc... left some Kiwi coin...
A lovely sunny day for a midweek outing and I found myself on the dark side of town
Well, this is an interesting park. A couple of teenagers on a bench nearby, and something going on as one looked ill and the other was comforting him. She looked over at me as I walked to GZ. Pretty sure what to look for so I ducked down and looked and there it was! Cache is good here, tucked back out of sight
On we rolled, getting cooler as the afternoon sun shifts lower...

My sister had a day in Brisbane before flying back to New Zealand today and requested to come geocaching with me so we spent the day caching Sandgate to Brighton on a lovely sunny day. This was the first cache of the day and she found it!!! Great find for her. TFTC
Tried to get it earlier but a muggle came and sat right where I was looking. Found it quickly on my way back through. TFTc

Ok, today I had to take my gooseneck (live horse transport) to have repairs, so I loaded Steel Stead ( dead horse transport:) in the back and off I go, after many questions from manufacturer as to what I am doing and where I was riding, explain geocaching and off I go, my main direction ML with off shoots. Where did that storm come from, ok lunch is fish and chips overlooking the sea, what more could you want. OK I just want one more cache and this looks perfect, go, ideal park nearby, cross road and hmm another person is walking towards where I am going, what has she got in that white plastic bag, ohhhh, ok well maybe she is just crossing park, no, that is, ohhhh, ok maybe hmmm, she looks at me there is no one home, ok I will walk past, sneak peak in, oh no others sitting/lying inside. I make a quick cursory inspection of nearby flowers. Ok no cache today but an interesting end to a day of caching. I will be back. TFTC
A quick grab for the cache while hubby kept an eye out for locals. Common sense led me to this one, of course it's there!
Hopefully snuck in this 500th cache before the relatives in Perth.Beautiful spot in Sandgate after celebrating a friends birthday and a long hot day searching for lead up caches.Well worth it.tftc.
Tftc. Worried geo son and daughter in law were going to beat us with this one. But persistence paid off
before 12:26 after a walk along the seashore with our Probus club. It was good to get this one off our DNF watch list.
There was a character with black glasses and a large dog at his feet in the rotunda. We had heard some hints and had an idea where the cache was but it meant creeping round behind where the blind man was sitting. We guessed he probably had compensatory good hearing and so would hear us so we owned up as to what we were doing. We found the cache and then talked to the man. After several statements including asking him how he could read books he turned out not to be blind at all .
TFTC Yyabbie. The cache is fine.

My first stop tonight. Between muggles I managed a good search in likely spots. No luck tonight.

A quick find on 2nd scout. (1st there was a gardener in plain site.) Apologies to the next finder as my 3 year old replaced the cache a little bit further than an easy arm's reach.
I went to a 40th birthday in the Town hall a few months ago, but it must have been before this cache appeared as I would surely have strolled over to seek it during the course of the evening.
Tinda13 led us right to the spot today and I had no trouble spotting a familiar figure from the rock industry. TFTC where everything is cool.

the cache name and description left me in no doubt about the type of hide this would be, found easily in a great spot.TFTC
Like it. As described. TFTC.

A little shower going over so s nice spot to park the bike and have a rest. Tftc.
Last find on my epic adventure today - 22 finds! (Too many DNFs, mostly due to muggle activity). My #399 - TFTC
For years I have been thinking this spot needs a cache and now finally it does! Great spot . Luckily the coast was clear for us and the cache was quickly located. Cheers yyabbie
Good clue and nice camo. Nice park. Never been here in daylight. Usually at dawn service. Tftc.
GPS had us bouncing all over but we checked the obvious location and got it! TFTC
