Away with friends who grew up around here and happy to pull over for a find or two in LGAs we also need. Thank you
Quick find. Another find in this LGA and another find closer to 20 finds. Found with Mogni. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Sir_Spectre and I went for a long weekend over to Victoria, we hosted some events and CITO's and was really impressed by all the people that made the effort to join us. Any caches that needed attention got it, with many log books being replaced or extras sheets added as needed. Thanks to all who placed and maintained caches for us to find
Camping in the area meant an afternoon caching run with Micaparamedic and Tiz13 taking some of the roads less traveled! A quick find here - thanks
LukeSistema and I headed off on a little road trip to gather some caches on the way to the sunset event.A quick stop here on our way to Boort!A big thanks goes to Kaneira for taking the time to add Loddon Limits #1 to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The rain was to stay but that didn't detour GemmaSistema micaparamedic and Tiz13 from heading out for some caching shenanigans following the nearby event. This was one of the caches on our hit list. MP did the deed as the rain pelted down.
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. On the way to Charlton on a cold cloudy day. TFTC
TFTC, checked 22/12/23 but did not find it and assumed it was missing. Cheers for replacing.
We had a long and unsuccessful search and decided after the previous DNF that this easy to find cache must be missing. So sent a note to the CO and replaced the cache today.
Racing to find the trigs I needed for today and then get myself north across the border to a hotel or motel closer to home. I passed a lot of caches…but not this one. Tftc.
On our way home after staying in Boort for the night. Just getting a few caches on the way. Quick park & sign. TFTC

With an hour or so spare today on my return trip from the farm to Corowa l decided to grab a few caches on my road less travelled and managed a quick park and grab with this one. Thanks Kaneira for the hide and the history of the Loddon Shire.
Well, a bit off track as we head towards home but that's what geocaching does to us. Log book very sad, replaced same in a new zip lock bag.

Oh no !!
I've hit the limit again [:o]
That's twice in one day
Maybe I should stop finding so many geocaches ??
Nah !!
Maybe I should stop trying to escape the Loddon ?? [:o]
Are you trying to fence me in Loddon Shire geocachers ?? [:p]
It won't work !!
At least here,
on the limit
The cache was hidden in the obvious spot
And maybe the tactics were working ?? [:o]
'Cos I did an Ewey and headed back into Loddon-ville

After a week in Mildura with Suscoe, amongst an inland sea of amazing caches it's time to head home. Of course a 500km trip requires quite a number of stops to stretch the legs and take a few deep breaths of fresh air!!
Another quick stop, added our name to the log and we were on our way again.
Our thanks 'Kaneira' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

After a great and interesting 5 days in St Arnaud at the Mega it is now time to head for home. 650Klm in our journey today which consisted of actual distance for getting from A to B and detours for caches. Spending the night in West Wylong. Arrived at GZ and it was a quick find. All good. TFTC
With some spare time before all the action starts in St Arnaud we drifted north in search of unfound treasures in uncharted areas.
Explored the dry lake area before making a quick find at GZ.
Thanks Kaneira for the placement.

Makes me wonder what kind of rain event you would need to fill up the lake. Tftc
Found at 12.05pm. We had spent the morning in town, now time for a short drive around the district. A quick stop and look in the obvious location. This swamp looks like a good bird watching area. Thanks K&M
A quick park and grab whilst on my way to Charlton. The log within is dry [^] SL at 16:22 on Tue 16 Jan 2018. TFTC Kaneira
Out for another drive around the District today to see what more dirt roads have to offer.
No way did I complete this Loddon Limits series but did grab a few smilies.

Found on our way home to Kerang and this was our last previously unfound cache before home. The distances I have to travel from home to find a cache is getting greater and greater TFTC Kaneira
Out for a cruisy trip on the backroads, so did this one on the way. Still have a few more in this series to do, TFTC Kaneira.
Not many places it could be and it was soon found. We added an extra sheet of paper but it does need a new ziplock bag. TFTC
Found on an weekend in Wedderburn for the weekends event. Given that we were camping and it was raining and we still had time before dinner there was nothing to do but go for a drive and get some caches further afield. We got to see some amazing cloud formations with the passing storms. Cache was found quickly. TFTC Team Campion.
Following not the most direct route to Alice Springs for the Event over Easter, we found ourselves in this area so just had to grab this little fellow. TFTC TNLN SL
Found on our way home from our trip to Lake Boga, where we saw the Catalina airshow and display, went fishing, and of course cached our way around as well.
In fact this was the last one for the trip. A nice quick drive by.

Out today on a country road trip to fill in some LGA's and explore the countryside.
Sun came and and it really heated up - great to explore some new spots!
A quick pick up, cheers and thanks for a cache in the countryside.

5733 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1215 on our drive back to The Rock after a great weekend attending the event at St Arnaud. To us it seems that cachers are not looking for the individual cache now. All after power trails and big number finds. We both love being away from the crowd and finding caches like this one. SL Tnx Kaneira.
I was on the road for six days, following the Aust Solo Speedway Championships, and this is one of the caches I located along the way.
Thanks for the work you have done to provide the enjoyment for so many of us.

This was one of the caches I found on my travels.
After watching the AFL Grand Final & staying over night at mates (Trout's) place, It was time to hit the road again.
It was another great day, The first signs of summer in spring. (Bring it on.)
I soon had the cache in hand and the log was duly signed.
'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

We headed out of Wedderburn towards more northern pastures. Thanks for showing us the edges of the Loddon shire!
The Lake Marmal Hall is well worth a look at nearby, about 1km away on the Marmal North Road. TFTC.
Find #1535 @ 1330H
Seeing that the skys were kinda clear I decided to head off on a small cache hunt (small in number not in distance) A total of 9 cache grabs but with a distance of 250ks round trip for the day.
This one was where I expected to find it, but I was not expecting the 8 legged guardian over it. After the use of some "tools" I had gotten rid of the guardian and soon had the cache in hand.
there was no log in here so I placed a piece of paper out of my note pad.

Am I the only one who sees the fuel light turn on in the car and sees it not as a warning but a challenge? I took on the geoute's fuel light today......and lost! Another geocaching adventure is born and a desperate phone call home made.
I decided to go out for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon to grab a couple of caches north of home.
This one didn't present an issue, except for the curious farmer who drove slowly past. I stood behind a tree and pretended I was getting rid of the day's water intake.
Conned him.
Grabbed the cache, signed the log, yelled yippee and off I went....

Found by Roma and Max.
On another similar mission to the east of here decided us to return home via this cache of yours.
We always like to visit nearby Boort, but do find it a bit depressing nowadays to see all the businesses, we well remember, that are now just vacant buildings.
Max even recalls attending the local cinema here in his youth, when the town was really booming, so to speak!
Thanks for placing #1 and we hope to find more in this series sometime in the future!
Cheers,
from Romax.
