Found after a brief search. Thanks.

27-Sep-24
Out caching with KabbellaQld and Madman001 to tackle some hides in this area. Took our 4WD for a drive around the country roads as we knew some of them can be rough and enjoyed the setting. Signed with KTM in the log. We had a very enjoyable day caching. Tftc.

27-Sep-24
Ignore hint its very much alive. Thanks for cache

27-Sep-24
Joined forces with Madman001 and ToucanKB to tackle some hides in the area. Madman001 had a stack of solved mysteries to tick off and we were also keen to reduce the numbers glinting teasingly at us from the map and in our solved files. Today's focus was the Big Aussie Day Bash and the Little Logs series, gathering in any caches that fell within that zone when time permitted. Took our 4WD for a spin around the country roads and enjoyed the setting. Signed some variation of our initials, depending on who was signing the log. We had fun. This one is hanging in a living tree, not a dead limb as suggested by the hint. Tftc.

07-Sep-24
Spider haven, TFTC, paper was a wee bit damp, rooster crowing nearby.

01-Sep-24
Nothing dead about that limb

20-Aug-24
Spending the morning exploring the area south of Maryborough as well as hopefully finding a few caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.

20-Aug-24
Out and about today around Maryborough doing caches along the country roads. Arrived at GZ and took the necessary steps to find the cache and signed the log. TFTC

Searched for quite some time but did not find. Area is overgrown.

First camp one… noice

17-Jun-23
When we parked at GZ, under some lovely shady trees, we had a feeling of Deja Vu!
Our feeling turned out to be correct, as we note that we had signed this one back in 2021 and forgotten to log it. Almost 2 years later we came back and signed the log again.
Our name is there twice!
Thanks Mick &Kaz

Back in Maryborough for a few days geocaching and hopefully including some of the DNF's from previously, working our way through some of the new ones that have been published since we were last here. This one took some finding. TFTC mick & Kaz Smile

First one down

16-Apr-23
Walked pretty far into the scrub following GPS, spent probably a good 40 minutes searching high and low but unfortunately unsuccessful. Could be just be because this is the first cache I've ever tried to look for so I'm new and inexperienced. I'll definitely give it another crack soon

13-Apr-23
Another big day out in the Habanero Sport with Patrol14 & TMZ59…The plan/idea/couple of thoughts strung together, is to try and clear the map between Tiaro & Maryborough…

Seems like Maryborough was the place to be over Easter, couple more cachers and it might have been a Mega…

Parking as close as possible we set off into the scrub… thanks to good coords, the cache was soon in our hands, although the hint doesn’t appear to apply any longer…

Thanks mick & Kaz

Out for the day with Peppa and TMZ59 and are caching around Maryborough and surrounds to find a few more caches.
Managed to park close by and made our way through the bush. Found the cache easily enough. Log signed cache returned.

Peppa leaped out of the car and disappeared into the bush. It wasn’t long and he was back. Thanks Peppa. Back in Maryborough area to grab some more caches. Out with my Geo friends, patrol14 and Peppa. What a lot of fun today has been. TFTC

27-Feb-23
We had a lovely day caching along the quiet country roads and this is one we found. A previous log was helpful in locating the container. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the hide Mick & Kaz.

A planned trip north with a mate, to check out some of the countryside and do some camping in some not so usual spots. It has been fun and the best part is I get to cache in places I do not usually get to visit. It was also a good chance to catch up with a few local and other travelling cachers.

I grabbed a couple while on the road and then meet up with granny, imbunda, snickers, and triple turmoil to get stuck into the brollie series. We spent a good deal of the day racing along. There were some good hides and then there were those that we just could not find as easily. Over all it was “fun” but we got them all done in the day. I guess it is better with a few looking as opposed to just one.

While doing the series we got this one when passing. Thanks for the hide, we signed the log and replaced as found.

02-Jan-23
While stayin up at Maryborough for a few days we cached around the district. A little group of unfound caches here so this was the 1st on the list and I must have taken the wrong way in to it as I ended up with blood running down my leg, only me can end up with blood. I think im a professional at that. Thanks to the hint and elimination the cache was looking at me. Log signed before replacing as found. TFTC

A bit tricky to get into, espically when we didn't have long pants, but that didn't stop the little kids and big kids alike lol - good job everyone!

28-Sep-22
Kinda hard to find through walking in the bushes but in the end good time and camouflages

Clue: in a tree and attached to something

23-Aug-22
This took a lot of wandering round to get the GPSr to settle and direct where we should look. Then it took a lot of looking before we finally spotted it.

Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache mick & Kaz.

Today I visted Bruce and Liz. Was a realy great day!!
I did some caches with Bruce. This was one of them.
I would not have found the container without Bruce's help.
The tree is definitly alive.

Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany.

Found it! After searching for what felt like ages I finally found this cache. Firstly the tree is most definitely not dead! She is thriving, so don’t bother looking around dead logs or trees. (It’s not a bush either) Secondly definitely recommend long pants and shirt with the mozzies and botfly’s. Thirdly there are terrifying cicadas flying around the area that are super loud!

TFTC second time here and found it straight away. Nice camo

We're out today on a geocaching tour around Maryborough. We had a little trouble finding this one since we were led astray by the hint initially but a quick review of previous logs made things easier.

Thanks for find #2387

We had the place to ourselves so we thought we could drive and park anywhere. Naturally when we parked about 4 or 5 utes came by full of high-viz warriors to give us the evil stink eye.

With the hint in mind I raced to check all things dead (including me on the inside) but nothing appeared. We found an old log that told us the dead limb had more life in it than expected and we uncovered the hide. tftc

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.

Day four of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and continuing to work our way through finding all the local and a few outer suburb caches. It was extremely overcast for the majority of the day but the compass never faulted and led us to every GZ without any hassles.

Enjoyed finding this cache, its certainly holding up well over the eight years of being placed.

TFTC. This cache has proven to be a nemesis over the years. On a drive out to the Weir to find some of the newer caches we were determined to find this one. It took me a while but eventually i came in at the right angle and spotted the hide. Thnakd mick and Katz for the challenge.

16-Oct-20
Looks like a lovely park for a picnic! But I was on a mission here. Scurried off to GZ and found the cache after disregarding the hint. The place I located it was alive ‘n well However caches do tend to creep about when no one is watching.

12/1/20
Found with Nyssaflutterby on our escaping reality for the weekend road trip!
We had a plan to find the most caches in a day for both of us (for me just 52, for Nyssa 122!) so after completing a trail we continued on caching for the rest of the day. We could have found a lot more but the heat was against us.
We made this one harder then it needed to be, as we looked there first then extended our circle, eventually a change in direction made it easier to spot.

12-Jan-20
Wombles and I were on a mission today. A week ago I had a crazy idea of trying to better my top finds in a day. So this is how we found ourselves in this part of QLD. With a new power trail available it was the perfect place. We had just completed all of the available 101 series and now only needed about another 20ish caches.

We managed to park only 50 metres from GZ then sprung into the scrub. A look here and there, no cache to be found. Wombles then had the good idea of looking at photos, she noticed a certain tree in one of them which helped narrow down the search area. Yep! There it is Smile Some scribble was left and the container replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache mick & Kaz Big Grin

Headed out Teddington way this morning Smile
What a great name that is [^]
Teddington !!
It rolls off the tongue beautifully.
The sort of name you'd expect to own a mansion,
or estate Smile

I'm not sure about a weir though Razz

Anyhoo !!
Here in the quiet surrounds of Teddington Weir this morning,
a wander into the surrounding jungle,
took me to GZ.

Standing around with a dumb look on me face worked well here,
and the cache was sighted after only five minutes [:o)]

We were visiting Liz and Bruce but took some time out to look for a cache while we were in the area. We took a short stroll down to the weir which had a reasonable amount of water flowing over it.

Thank you mick & Kaz for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

Went out to check out the weir following the long dry spell.
Nice little bush walk and were just about to give up when we spotted it from the right angle.
Cache and log are both in good condition.
Thanks very much.

14-Apr-18
We found this cache even though the co-ords seemed to be a fair bit out. The expansion of the search area got the desired result. We also had to spend quite some time picking off grass seeds after returning to the vehicle. Just part of geocaching, really.
Thanks to mick & Kaz for another cache placed in the Maryborough area.

Out and about sight-seing our way around Maryborough, we just had to visit the Weir as we wanted to see where we might be able to kayak should we decide to move over here from WA.
