On my trip down to Wonthaggi for the day to go out and pick up some unloved caches and do some other caches that are very convenient for me to grab, as I walk past them haha. This was one of those caches that I just happened to walk past, even so I would like to thank you for the cache and the amazing place you have taken me to today. Will continue on to try to get closer to the no1 spot in this months unloved challenge.

Found the reminents of this little fella today, unless maintained maybe have it archived
Sadly a tree has fallen on it and knocked it to the ground. All that remains are the cable ties.
GPS was darting around everywhere but despite looking in several places I gave up.

Down Wonthaggi for just a few days, love when you can walk from the caravan park to some caches. Found main container (nice one ) but looks like the bison container is missing.

Accurate coordinates, the hint and an "in the open" hide led to a quick find of this novelty cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache lozza311.
#818 - Day three of my trip down the coast for some caching fun! Today I decided to attempt some hides from a variety of cachers and not Gonefishen07 exclusively.
After finishing my first walk of the day and collecting 17 finds, it was time to go on my second walk. After parking at the huge wind turbines at the end of Campbell street, I set off and was able to find 21 of the 26 caches that I set off to find.
Thank you to the CO's for the hides, I had a very fun walk with what was once again a wide variety of caches and hides as the sun went down.
The 'logbook' has indeed disappeared. The camo is still there but logbook nowhere to be seen. I am logging this even though I have not signed it, I am able to say what the camo on the tree is if needed.

Quick stroll before we go to 2 of 2 events thought we might do some site seeing with Jnr Bear and Mrs Bear as we haven't looked around this area before what better way than caching thanks for the hides
I appears that the cable tie used to attach the camo, was severed, as the cache was on the ground. I have reattached as best I could, but it may be advisable for the CO to check on the cache.
TFTC. Clever camouflage. When I first looked there was a severed cable tie. Looking further, found the cache on the ground. I reattached the camo and container as best I could with what was left of the cable tie.
The day was chilly & windy with a hint of rain, but geo-hubby still went for a bike ride to pick up some caches.
A good variety of caches were found, but a couple of logs were wet.
Many thanks for placing this cache, lozza311, in such a lovely area.

This is the day I got round to logging my cache not the day I found it. I'm shocking at remembering to get online and do the actual recording part of the process.
I did a nice little walk with the Geodog and one half of the Graling's who live in the area
so thanks to lozza for the cache

[font=Comic Sans MS][Green]I'm heading eastwards on a day caching in and around Wonthaggi with Square_Pegs after leaving Melbourne early this morning before sunrise. Later on, I got the opportunity to find this cache in good condition.
It's been too long since my last visit. Thanks lozza311 for making this an enjoyable day exploring

That is a nice hide, it made me smile when we spotted it. We couldn't hear any traffic, but we could hear the motorbikes from the trailbike track nearby. Thanks for placing this cache.
Fairly quick find here. Could hear what sounded like the waves crashing in. Not too much traffic. TFTC
2.30pm While enjoying our usual Easter break at Cape Patterson with friends I got a chance to do this walk. I have never been down into this area before so really enjoying a new area to see.
Nice easy find here and loved your theme.
Thanks for the cache lozza311

Geo Hubby did a section of the Rail-trail today while , I walked in another area.
We found a variety of caches some hard, micro's in the bushes are always a worry. Some very cleverly hidden.
I'm all ears

We enjoyed the walk along this trail - tree cover provided dappled shade on a beautiful warm day. We saw no one else on the trail. The different hides certainly kept us entertained. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to lozza311 for placing this cache.
It was my monthly caching expedition with Biggles Bear today. With over 40 caches and only 3 DNF's, it was a successfuly day's caching. This amusing hide was quickly located.
Thanks to lozza311 for the cache.

Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:
Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"
As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much
Greetings from France
I will be at Mega event with my friend who just especially France also "Ckronos"

One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
I parked at the end near 'Don't make a mess' and walked a circuit loop to end up back at the car. I enjoyed the walk through this nice bushland setting. I had a mixed bag of success in finding the caches here. At a few locations the GPS had me wandering about quite a bit so it took a while to find some of the caches - micros in the bush, tree coverage and no hints can be time consuming. I loved the hides and some were clever and quite amusing.
I couldn't hear too much traffic today, not too many cars going along the nearby road. Found and log signed. TFTC.

Hahaha this is about the point that we realised that we were looking for out of the ordinary hides along this trail. Looks like The BFG has been in this neck of the woods! TFTC
Geo Husband, 4 year old geo grandson and I got to this one and by the time we got there, our ears were bleeding from Geo Grandson's incessant questions, why?, how?, when? etc. So when we found this one, it did make us laugh a lot. Talk about irony. Nice hide. TFTC
Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.
Many thanks lozza311 for placing this cache.

Busy little road that I used to walk back to the car in the heat yesterday after Sully and my first entry into this reserve. Today it was on the bike, and a nice quick find by Sully. Thanks again Lozza311
Bogonghazy and I could certainly hear the traffic here. We were on the bikes today, and the logs we were seeing showed that some of the folks we'd had dinner with the night before had been out here before us this morning. Thanks so much for the cache and for bringing us here today.
Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass and micaparamedic, at 1032. Yes, we could hear the traffic, and we didn't need the cache to help us either. Peter spotted it with one ear to his phone and the other listening to the traffic. Enjoyed this find. Our thanks to lozza311.
Found at 10:31 AM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob and micaparamedic. Yes - we could! We could actually hear it from Green Tea as well. We received a phone call from Gonefishen07 at this location, so we searched around while on the phone and still found it .
Thanks lozza311.
Thanks lozza311.

With the weather forecast promising us quite a nasty hot day we were out and about by bike fairly early in search of smilie faces. Yes we could hear the traffic - a good sign in some ways as the day was showing signs of warming up.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt lozza311.

We are enjoying the sense of humour in these cache hides. The tracks are a bit bumpy, but loving the chance for a bike ride. Thanks for the cache.
Out with my caching buddy Slink1 revisiting Wonthaggi today picking up some caches we had not had time for the last time we were here. It was a fine sunny day and we had a few laughs and enjoyed the caching.
Thank you to lozza311 for the chache TNLNSL

Found on a arvo touring around the area and collecting a few caches along the way, a very pleasant trip and as always we enjoyed where the caching took us along with the hunt. A big thank you to lozza311 for the effort and placement TNLN SL

A much better morning for a walk but many of the tracks are flooded. This one was an easy find for us today. TFTC
While in the area on a FTF hunt, picked up this little one on the way. Took a bit of finding cause GPSr was pointing into another area.

Joint ****FTF****with KTCvic my phone buzzed at 6.15am message from Trent say he was coming down this way. I said when you have finished doing the others come get me I will come to town with you and get the other that we missed last night. We headed off I wondered if the other FTF hounds in town had been out but to my/our surprise that hadn't. Found some appropriate parking and off we went. I think Trent was still puffed after trekking through the sand dunes earlier on but we keep a good pace in anticipation of a FTF. It was nice to explore a place that I haven't really been to.
Arrive at GZ Iphones once again miles apart (so to speak) I made a very quick find here. Lucky my phone was working off the right towers today or we might still be out here . TFTC

Joint FTF!!!
After seeing a plethora of caches being published last night, what could I do other than get up bright and early and try and grab a few FTF's. I set a target for four, one in Grantville and three near Kilcunda, thinking that the five in Wonthaggi would of been snapped up by the time I finished with the first four. What a pleasant surprise was it when I reached Gonefishen07's place that the Wonthaggi caches were still yet to be found!! So as a bonus we jointly FTF the five in Wonthaggi. My best day on the FTF hunt, with a total of 9 for the morning.
We continued our stroll and once again my GPS pointed one way Leesa the other. Leesa coming up with the goods again, which she reminded me as we walked away in the words "2 nil"!! We did take the opportunity to let Bounty Trackers know that he was indeed missing out on quite a few FTF's today!!!
Thanks for the cache lozza311!!!
