No response to a 'Needs 'Maintenance' request in January. Three DNFs recently and severally finders before that saying the cache is badly damaged and missing parts.

Hi there Clontarf Beach Scout,
Your cache "Three blind mice" was last found on 29/01/2015, 194 days ago, and has had 3 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Looked but did not find. Wondering if it got washed away in floods weeks ago?
After looking at logs, this one needs maintainance from co to verify its existence.
I had found a cache not too far away so decided to walk back to find this one before moving on from the area.
As previous finders have stated, the cache has no lid and everything inside is soaking wet. I managed to get my name on the log before replacing all as found.
Thanks Clontarf Beach Scout. This one needs your attention quickly.

Needed a cache for our day / date grid so after I finished work, I collected Dave and we came looking for a cache.
This one had been on my radar for ages and it was time to grab it.
The cords sent us to a location, but we didn't think there was any chance it could be located there so I walked over to where I thought it could be.
Unfortunately, the cache was found devoid of its contents. The log paper was soaking wet on the ground beside the lid-less cache.
We attempted to sign our names on the log paper and replaced it into the cache. A nearby plastic bag was recovered and I placed it over the cache to protect the contents.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Container missing lid, log wet and contents missing.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 29, Redcliffe.
Today is hot, but not quite as humid. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of park and grabs, with the odd short walk for the GeoSchnauzers. I'm heading towards North Lakes because I want to go to Costco.
No 1 of 14 today. Thanks, Clontarf Beach Scout. First one, with a short walk attached. The GeoSchnauzers enjoyed it, and there was shade for them to stand in while I searched for the cache. The cache container has no lid, and has clearly been a container for water in the recentish past. I put a plastic bag around it.

Was raining when looking for this, so you can imagine the condition of the log. Did not see any mice either, but that could have been the rain on my glasses! TFTC
This one was found fairly quickly but was over 8 metres away from GZ. There is no lid on the container, which is rusty and in need of replacing. Everything inside is wet. The cache owner needs to do a fair bit of repairing to get this one back up to scratch. TNLNSL TFTC
4:45 GPS led us to a quick find which was pretty much out in the open; container doesn't have a lid so contents might not be so safe .... No pen in cache, and we'd left ours up at the geomobile so had to do a quick dash back up the hill to get it and find our way back to GZ. Log completed and container put back where we'd found it.
Cache found easily at midday, almost out in open. Unfortunately I was sans pen so no written entry in log. TNLNSL TFTC
Did not see the mice but met the killer attack mosquitoes!

Continuing on my way towards Deception Bay and I spotted this one just off the road I was to be travelling along. I parked and wandered across into this lovely little hidden away area nearby a small lake (or is it a pond)
The GPSr was quite specific about the area that was close to where I should be searching and I took a look in more then a few spots there. But of course nothing was turning up.
I had a think about it and tried the phone, before retrying the GPSr but both devices were pointing to relatively the same area. I got to the point that I thought to much time lost and was going to move on but decided to go and take a little closer look at the water first. Soon I spotted something on the ground.
Well hmm that is intriguing that looks a lot like it could be a log book, and even recognised a name or two that we scribed on the paper. So I decided to add my name, and with a glance around I soon spotted just where the log book would live.

Found this one, as mentioned in a few previous logs there is no lid on the container.
It's a good spot for a cache so I hope it stays.

This defiantly needs some maintenance...... But remember it is spiders home (see picture)
ooops...just posted the wrong log report, hopefully this makes more sense
Family had been out to North Brisbane Tank Club at DB School so we swung by and nabbed this one on the way home. Geohubby was the actual finder which was a bit of a surprise considering his somewhat less than enthusiastic attitude to my crazy new hobby.
As previously mentioned, lid is missing but log is dry. Geokid did a small swap and is pleased with his 'ball race' game he collected. TFTC

cache find # 1601. Another cache find on a day out and about whilst we are staying nearby. Found the cache is a likely spot. Does need some TLC. TFTC.
Found without too much trouble despite GPS sending me in circles. No lid, rather exposed spot No trackable here TFTC
A daylight visit so I missed the mice. I nice little spot over on the way for more deception from the bayside cachers
Out on the other side of Pine River to grab as many of the local unfound caches as I can as I head towards a milestone. I dropped by this one - a LARGE??? Oooh, how did I not know that already? I love a Large. I read that as I was walking the long journey in from the road, and then I was at GZ for the (nice) find. Cheers guys. Love a large!
Thanks for placing this cache, Deception Bay Scouts. Found in good condition.

Searched for quite some time for this one, then read some previous logs.... turned my GPS off and followed my instincts, cache was then soon found.
One of my first finds was a GCA cache here in 2008, brought back memories returning here, thanks Deception Bay Scouts.

2nd time lucky. I cannot believe we missed a FTF on this the night it came out. It appears we were 2 blind mice . Took TB. TFTC
Walked to the GZ from where we are staying and commenced our search. GPS signal bounced around a lot. Had both a GPSr and an iPhone going at the same time, and both were showing different directions on the compass! Eventually, we put the technological gadgets away and got back to basics. After expanding the search grid, we quickly had the prize in hand. Only one blind mice guarding the cache now! TFTC Deception Bay Scouts. TNLN. SL. {#472} B
After reading the previous logs we knew to look in a bit bigger circle. Quickly had the cache with still one mouse standing guard. Great container. TFTC
Went to Redcliffe today to meet up with a friend so decided to clean up some of the more recent caches on the long way home.
Thought we were going to miss it but our PAF told us to widen our search (considerably) and there it was.

Out and about with Whint today It took some planning last night to find an area that had sufficient caches we both hadn't found. Another quick find here for us. Only one mouse is on the lid, but the others are safely tucked away. TFTC, Deception Bay Scouts.
Found along with IolantheK today whilst in the area An easy find and a nice size cache.... all good here today and a little bit creepy

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 11:49am. The mice are falling off the lid but are placed inside now: one is still holding on tightly. TFTC
What a great cache. We were initially looking in the wrong place coords were out for us, but after widening our search, we soon had the log signed.
Found at 0836 with Marg. Found quickly but had to keep interrupting sign the log to slap the mozzie away. Any future cachers should think about some airogard. One of the mice is no longer stuck to where it should be I dropped in another type of mouse, one that does not glow in the dark and a scorpion that does. TFTC.
Heading for home after a long day climbing mountains and finding caches. I noticed that there was a few cheeky little green dots up on my map, hmmm, best be sorting that out! Dav81 was certainly having a great day today finding nearly every single cache we had hunted for. After signing the log we replaced the cache as found. One of the mice has fallen off the top

This cache was the reason for our night caching run tonight, Miss Geo9 and Miss Geo11 wanted to see this spooky cache in action! We began the hunt and slowly widened our search, suddenly the mice were not the only things running, Miss 9 had stepped into a large ants nest and had been bitten all over her feet After a quick trip to the local service station for a bag of ice to soothe her poor feet she quickly recovered and like the trooper she is, was nagging to go back for round 2. Our second trip provided a quick find, and the girls were suitably impressed with the creepy little guardians and their friends inside the tin. We added a centipede and a snake to keep them company and signed the log. Thanks for the great cache Scouts!

Hint made for a quick find. One of the guardians has come loose on the lid.

congrats to fasted on his 100th FTF
were going to head for home but no-one seem to be logging north so off we go and try out luck
while fasted is driving to this one i am trying to get co-ords from phone (which is dying) to gps
took a little to find but we used the clue
always extend our search area at night and with clouds
guardians look very cool after a little light on them (i have same ones on a hair clip)
took orange spider (he too will be a hair clip in the near future)
