Found a rope hooked around a large rock but frayed and broken on the end....no cache.
Hi
Considering the content of last logs I think that it may be appropriate for the cache owner to check on this cache and advise that it is still OK or not.
I will be checking this listing again in 28 days.

We are clumsy fishermen. We saw a lot of rocks, bottles and other rubbish but no cash.
We have found this cache previously but as there was a Needs Maintenance recorded we decided to go back and check if it was still there or had been muggled. Happy to report that it is definitely still there and is in good condition (apart from the rope no longer being attached).
We also met some other geocachers while we were there. It is the first time we have encountered other geocachers while on a cache hunt. It was nice to meet you 'meaghanrose'.

Talked to some experienced cachers who have not been able to find this. We believe it is gone. Owner can you please confirm it's still there.
I had a poke around but it was dark and I only had my bike light. Will come back and try again.
Scratch that found it when we were leaving lol. Found with kazdawg and jewelz. Nothing except the log was inside so i put a car, lolly and 10c in it
We were at the park today with a group of friends watching the pelicans being fed at 10am. I knew there was a geocache nearby but I didn't have my GPS with me. I used the app on my phone instead. My daughter and I went for a wander over to the rocks but there was a man sitting nearby. We thought he may be a fellow cacher looking for it but it turned out he was just eating his lunch and enjoying the view. We pretended we were looking for bits of driftwood and he soon left. That's when the real hunt started. I wasn't wearing the best shoes for climbing over rocks but I was determined to hunt anyway. I spied a container that I thought was the cache but I couldn't reach it. After 5 mins of attempting to manoeuvre it to a spot where I could reach it, I realised that it wasn't the cache. Drats! I hunted a little more and widened my search. The GPS in my phone was pointing away from where I knew I needed to be. One of my friends walked over and asked what I was doing. I explained what geocaching is and showed her the app on my phone. It was then that I checked the previous logs and saw all the DNF's. Drats again! I assumed it must have been muggled. I was just about to give up and walk away when I checked one more spot and.... what's that? The cache!!!! Woo Hoo!!! I found it!!! It is still here! The cache is in good condition however the paper inside (round circles of paper) are ever so slightly damp. They are not in a ziplock bag. (If the next person who looks for it could bring a ziplock bag with them I'm sure the cache owner and future finders would be most appreciative. Unfortunately I didn't have my caching bag with me today or I would have added one.) There are currently no swaps or trackables inside the container. You will also need to bring a pen with you. I signed the log and returned it to it's hiding place. Very excited that we were able to find this one and report that it is okay. As there are so many DNF's I will give you a hint. (I hope that's okay with the cache owner!) There is no rope attached to the cache. I'm not sure if the cache has changed since it was originally placed but you no longer have to 'fish' for it. I can be easily reached with your arm or with a tool. (I used a tool.) It says "Official Geocache" on the lid. Make sure you place it back the right way up to keep it water tight. TFTC

Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. Doesn't look promising, but there's a fair number of spots in a small radius from precise GZ.
A quick pitstop before crossing the bridge and unaware of the string of DNFs until I had parked.
Found a frayed piece of green rope and a ziplock bag. Clambered all over the rocks to look from different angles. Nada
Would be nice if the CO could pop over and check this one?

Met the lovely FamBam Caching family here who helped us look but as expected from previous logs this one appears to be gone.
Our first encounter today with fellow travelers, locals actually, who thought this one had been trashed. There was no sigh of it today despite many eyes looking. Perhaps we will return to find it if it is replaced.
this cache has been destroyed. We found what was left of the log but the rest was gone. Needs some repairs.
As I said in my log, the cache is spread everywhere in the hide and I think the container is dropped out of reach. Log is ripped up. Sad that people have to wreck things.
Sad to say this has been wrecked. It is a real waste as it was fun to look for. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found at 0837 with Marg. Marg found this one while I was scrambling over rocks. TFTC.
We were starting to despair of caches in rocks but then the key item was spotted. We signed the log and then baited the line with a TB before tossing it back in. TFTC.
I thought this would be a lot harder than it was for some reason. It was literally in the first place I looked. Tftc!
Out caching with vampash today. This was our first one for the day. Took a few minutes to spot the lure but then soon reeled in the big one.
Thanks Sumner Family for the cache.

Had my aunty come out today! Gps coordinates are a bit off. tftc!

Found after a short search. Not as much rope around as expected given all the log comments! Taking trackable. TFTC.
Out and about on the bikes again with teamdfl for a Freaky Friday
Rocks everywhere here, and so many pieces of string! We pulled out rather a lot before I finally spotted the hide. TFTC, The Sumner Family.

Out with IolantheK on a freaky friday hunt. Back out on the geocycles today, with my new bike having its first geocaching expedition
I would like to say that I enjoy fishing, but that would be a lie and this one did not imporve my opinion of that passtime ;-P
As a previous finder mentioned, there is a surprising amount of rope in those rocks. Of course bike shoes are never the best option for moving about on rocks.
After searching high and low IolantheK finally found the right bit of rope and fished out our prize.

DNF. Found the supposed sting but no luck with what was at the end. will wait and see if the next person has more luck.
Woohoo!! Found it.
Couldn't help but return for a second look. Was driving us crazy.
Nice tricky little cache and clever hide.

Well we looked for what seemed like for ever. Found plenty of rope that had floated in from the sea but we are sure there was one rope the was meant to have the cache on the end of it as it was tied of in a knot around rocks and did not look like it had spent time in the ocean. I think the CO needs to confirm this one is or is not where it was first placed.
Its a good location.
Thanks

Once you start looking it is amazing how many bits of rope are tangled up here. Luckily I found the right one after a false start. Nicely done The Sumner Family. I notice that this cache was featured tonight on the facebook page Name this Geocache QLD.
Tonight, I took my father and brother in law for drive to Redcliffe. My brother in law just wanted to drive my car and I just wanted to extend my current PB caching streak by another day.
After a lazy DNF nearby, this was an easy fun cache to introduce them to geocaching. I spotted the rope straight away, but let them find it - but, only after a bit of prodding. All good with this cache.
Thanks for the cache, The Summer Family.

Out and about today and had time to call in and grab this cache. The gps was a little shifty but after some thinking and searching located cache. Great idea and a beautiful place to visit. TFTC
After a dnf last week I headed back this way to collect some more Redcliffe caches. I saw it had been found so was determined. I walked straight to it!
Thanks for the cache The Sumner Family. All is good with it.

TFTC. Rope came off cache. We taped rope back onto cache so hopefully will be more secure. Not so fragile now
Cache find #1156. Last time we were here, we only found the rope, with no cache attached. Today we tried again, and quickly l0cated the same rope, and successfully this time the cache was attached. TFTC.
OC definitely needs to have a look at this one, Chris-o556 and I quickly fixed it as best we could be needs a bit more love.

Found with MouseFan on a morning ride. Fixed up the cache a little but might need a little extra sugar TFTC.
Spent a while looking for this. Found several ropes, one which had something attached to it but it was well and truly stuck under something as I couldn't pull it up. No sign of previously mentioned bucket. Time to move on.

found a blue rope a white rope a muddy brown rope a plastic rope a Grosso sand bucket tucked cacheley behind a rock but nothing nada zip hopefully cache is still there and not just floated away
Noice. We found several pieces of rope with a loop on the end of it, and suspected the cache had been muggled. Geokids gave up and went to nearby swings, but Spicedsalami and YYabbie (senior) persisted. Found the cache, but was not attached to the rope. Fortunately Spicedsalami had long salami like arms to retrieve cache. He also did a quick repair job to attach the rope to cache, but CO may want to check anyway.

Found it with rope unattached. Re attached the rope but co may want to check. Cool hide. Tftc.
A little damp inside, swapped a treasure, left a napkin hope it help with the moisture.
A dnf for us today. Geograndson (19 year old), found the rope but nothing attached. As it was high tide, we had to abandon the mission.
I found it but there was no rope attached so I found a rope and tide that to it. it was deep between the rocks so I'm lucky I have long arms
Found rope. Sealed bag. Coconut. No cache. Will try again but could be muggled

Put the grid into the GPS for my son and he found it by himself. His first solo cache, proud moment.
