Logs
Found the original container, with the original log still in reasonably good nick! Many thanks for the find.
Day six of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is Manaia to the cape lighthouse along the coast and back to Hawera via the inland route - it's a slow trip!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* 3 notebooks full of cache notes for later logging
* Lots of cache maintenance!
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Out doing some old caches in the back blocks for the fun of it, this one still in place but very damp. Carved BB on the log. This one is a wrap. Mission accomplished. TNLN TFTC! Blenheim Bear

A pleasant drive down the coast for a new EC and thought I'd grab this one on the way. Still here and in good nick. Nice hide. TFTC Trev

Big caching day out with tmann421 ... 20 hours ... 1005 kilometres ... 76 caches ... Wairarapa ... Taranaki ... Wairarapa
I left home at 3am and meet up with tmann in Sanson to be chauffeured around the ‘Naki. We spent a lot of time zig zagging around to bottom of the mountain on the way to New Plymouth, and then we looped around to the north and back down through Stratford. We drove a lot of roads we hadn’t been on before, saw some amazing sights and had a good time. We even had time to do a few caches in Wanganui on the way home.
Thanks for all the caches placed for us to find.

#914 - Another stop on the surf highway. A quick look - ah, here this could be the cache... yes it is! A short search, a quick log and giv them back in his ambush. TFTC.
Decided to travel round the mountain catching up on some caches we missed last time. Glorious day for travelling.
No 15. This one had us a bit embarrassed as it was so close to a muggles house. Couldn't relate info in description to where we actually found cache. Maybe we were getting tired. Sl. TFTC.

Found it. That's pretty much all I can say about this. There's no particularly good scenery, no history, not even a clever hide.
