Absolutely love the story behind this one. It was a bit of a decent to find it but worth it!! I found it and it wasn't hidden so I have put it back where it belonged . My GC dog loved this one!!
After spending the night in Goondi, we swung by a couple of caches before hitting the road again.
This was the first of the day and definitely the scariest! With all the rain thats been falling lately AND the long grass made it a very hairy find. Hope the rain stops a bit or this cache may be in danger of going walkies. This was a challenge that we succeeded in, thanks TeamSKJM!

Staying at the caravan park so was able to walk to this cache. Was a bit daunting with the very long grass, but with some high stepping we were able to locate it. Nice house being built, the owners will get a birds eye view of any cachers in the vicinity!
**# 14291** Found on our 2016 winter escape trek.
Another sunny winter day for a drive around in Goondiwindi.
A good find and not many muggles around here today.
Thanks for the cache TeamSKJM,

We got sucked in by a rather obvious trail which only made it harder than it needed to be. Just happy that it was not where we first thought it was as a slippery trip to the murky depths looked a distinct possibility. TFTC.
Every day is a good day to Geocache. Why do I have to spend so many of them at a desk?
Out caching with geobunnybutts. Oh look I could have driven the car at least this far. It looks like it's over here on the house.. no I think it's down that hill. It's a steep hill, and it has a wall of grass, really long thick grass. Oh it's OK,these is a geo trail, phew. Came up on a y intersection, went right and left. Had to tackle the prickly sticks. Ground zero!! YAY

Find by pnutbeagle and The Marathon Man (Northern Ontario Canada) continuing our vacation in Australia after having spent 4 weeks in New Zealand. Also enjoying the great weather in Australia of 25+°C. We are also away from the -3° C and snow back home in NorthWestern Ontario, Canada.
Another great day of geocaching in Queensland, Australia. Today we travelled from St. George, QLD to Toowoomba
No problems here - interesting area

THTC. Visiting from Sale Vic. Left a foreign coin. Cheers Kranstan - Bought a Jeep.
TFTC Tag 9987292 found thanks. Taking the tag to Sale Victoria and will place in someones cache. Hope that is what I am suppose to do. If not let me know and I will return it. Cheers
Second cache we found in Goondiwindi this morning before we headed south. It was an easy find and the cache is in good condition although with the major building under construction nearby care should be taken when searching for it as sticky-beak muggle builders are likely to interfere with proceedings! Today is Sunday so we had the area to ourselves as the crew were most likely praying at the alter to the malt god.

Made it to the location. Searched around the tree. Could not find it, even after looking at the photo.
Will try again when weather cools down and snakes are less of a threat.

A beautiful day to be out and about in this beautiful area as I head for home after another fantastic house sitting job... I apologize for the generic logs - It no way detracts from my enjoyment and the efforts gone to by the CO's...
A short search, found the cache, stamped and returned...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment TeamSKJM...

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there TeamSKJM. We found your cache "Happy anniversary" at 8:58:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11661.
[Blue]
Today was another nice day for 'caching on our southward journey. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 9 caches (and DNFing 0).
[Green]Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.[/Green]
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

After the Risk assessment was done decided footwear would be OK, especially as we saw an easy way through the weeds. Soon in hand.

Found while in town getting the car fixed. Nice part of the river. There was nothing left in the cache so I left a few little keyrings and 2 pathtags. Signed log and left happy that I found this cache after always saying "I'll get that one soon" lol. Thanks for the cache TeamSKJM
First for the day and, just for a change on this trip, a daylight outing on the geocycle. Good flat country for pedalling, and time available to use it on a great day to be out. Happy Anniversary TeamSKIM, whatever the date! TFTC. And may all your days be honeymoon!

My brother in law lived in the house right near this cache. This is our first visit in over 20 years and we stayed in the house.
There was lots of long grass down to the cache and it being a very hot day and I only had thongs on we did not find this cache. Possum was not going anywhere near the long grass.
Thanks for bringing us back here TeamSKJM. We will come and find this one when it is a bit cooler.

Quick find by torchlight. Another milestone for me today, 3 states in 1 day. VIC NSW QLD. 1400 klms traveled, time for some rest.

On way back home after our overnight at Goondwindi. Nearly 6 months ago Jondan2 and I went geogaching on way back from camping at Bathurst for new year, We couldlnt find it but today Dranyer and I found it this time and wonder why we didn't find it last time as we looked there. TFTC
Spending the night in Goondiwindi tonight offers the chance for some caching! I do like border caches so this one was my first on the list. Left a pathtag for the next finder or CO whichever is first! Thanks for the cache.
Must have stepped over the cache twice in process of looking here. The McIntyre was looking large and muddy after recent rains. TFTC
Found on the way to Stanthorpe with uni and sxc. Thanks TeamSKJM first Queensland cache this trip

We have a few days to spend traveling from Bendigo to Stanthorpe for the Mega and we are going via Griffith, Cobar, Lightening Ridge and after a change of plan - Goondiwindi.
Its been a long day but we managed to collect a few caches late in the afternoon before we set off again tomorrow. Its a pretty spot - I can see why it is special to you.

Awesome off the beaten track for this one. Bit tricky at first because of the long grass but a fun find for our road trip adventure.
First day of the team Seffnjarah and team Mickjor trip from Brisbane to Adelaide. On our way to Goondiwindi for the night. Set up camp in the show grounds before ducking out for a couple of finds. Parked on the street a short distance away and followed the dirt track towards GZ. Some well needed rain was a Christmas present for the locals, but it had turned the top layer of dirt into a claggy mud the clung to my boots I reckon the thickness of the soles of my boots would have made Gene Simmons envious. After staggering along with a gait reminiscent of a drunk girl in 9 inch heels after a day at the races, I finally made it to GZ where a quick clean of the boots had me walking normally again. A search of the obvious spots came up empty and a DNF on the previous log had me worried, but a thorough search of some other places turned up the cache and my name was added to the log. TFTC.
Headed down towards the large tree & from previous logs we knew we were looking for something blue.
Hunted around for awhile until at last BINGO it was just a little deeper under leaf mulch.
As we walked away the rain came down, the ground near GZ would have got very sticky.
Thanks for placing this cache TeamSKJM

Had lunch here after cycling from Toobeah in the headwind and booking into the featureless, characterless nearby caravan park. Overcast but hot. Perhaps we were to tired after too much headwind and 151km cycle fully loaded yesterday.
I am a happy cacher. Was about to give up on this one after cracking open the hint and reading past logs and wandering around in circles finally I spied blue plastic. Yah not easy that one. Left as I found it TFTH
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
Thanks for the fun TeamSKJM!

What a lovely spot for a cache hide and it soon was in hand. Very picturesque this afternoon with the late sun on the water and the grasses bending gently in the slight breeze.

Made a stop to have a morning tea break on our trip today and had time to grab a cache. We looked around for a bit and then we found it. Only after one of us actually did have to tie their laces. Signed log & replaced. TFTC
#923 We made this find in a late afternoon downpour! Luckily we had raincoats with us and luckily we had the cache found within minutes. Picked up a TB - TFTC TeamSKJM and hope marriage is still treating you both well

Moving house from Brisbane to Tasmania. All packed and now in the car on the way south so what else to do but break the trip by caching. A bit overgrown near the area. Round GZ had a tumble as I found a low and overgrown hidden fence.

On a really tight schedule and on my own, so if I fell in the river no one to miss me until I didn't turn up to the night time meeting spot. LOL.
I phoned a friend and was told where it should be, I excavated the mud from under the object and still no cache so had to leave it and run.

Left Roma at 0530 for my big day. Arrived in Goondiwindi via Mungindi and finished caching at 1800 and 625K's of driving. Had plenty of rest stops and took heaps of photos. Day 4 of my western adventure. Now at the mid point and head south then east tomorrow. Took awhile.

Xpro dropped off a TB which has been in my possession for some time. It's now only 400km from its destination.
First find on our road trip too. Now for a spot of lunch. Left another swappable good for kids. Great spot!
I'm visiting Australia from California, on holiday with my boyfriend who lives in Brisbane. We're also on a road trip and this is our first cache on the road. What a gorgeous peaceful spot and beautiful romantic story. Thank you!!
Can't believe I went walking without a pen. Nice spot. Mind the scary creatures within the cache.
We are on our way home from Ballarat to Beachmere collecting caches along the way. Geo hubby almost ended up in the river but managed to recover. A great spot for a cache and a first to find for us. Thanks for the cache.
