Logs
Cnf think it could have been moved maybe? Someone else told us where is was but no luck!
KirsTim, we didn’t find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasn’t for lack of trying though! Searched for a very long time but no sign
Thought we had looked everywhere but no luck with this one. Maybe we needed to be taller?
Had to double back to this one due to a muggle parked up nearby. Thankfully they had moved on when I came back. While I hadn't planned it, this turned out to be my 13th cache of the day including the ad lab in Tirau on my way. Made me wonder if there might be a Friday the 13th badge, eg 13 caches found on Friday the 13th ?... Nice easy find here, TFTC
Bit of a hunt here today, the I saw it staring at e lol. Berocca tube. The clue didn't help me lol. Really pleased to change the blue to yellow today. The log was difficult to extract, however a stick helped. TFTC!
So many potential hiding spots at gz, we were about to give up, when I finally spotted it. Thanks to the cache owner.
A glorious day for caching in Matamata! All quiet at GZ, took a hunt to find. All good, tftc and Merry Xmas!
What an asset to the town for exercise and doggie walks. A elongated park with a roadway and historic trees. The hint had me for a while, nice one.
Found with trayc.g on day 6 of our family holiday. Today is the day we head to The Shires Rest for a tour of Hobbiton. Can’t wait!

When we arrived here some people were parked on the other side of the GZ, went straight to the correct side and was hidden from them thankfully. Cool little hidey spot TFTC
Found with DopeyKiwi on an small extension of our sunny stroll to the Scout Hall today. Having read the previous logs we thought we might need to stretch but we must be taller than some other cachers

Sadly, a DNF, but a lovely spot to stop for a little legstretch to break up a very long drive, thanks!
Took abit of searching for this one but found it and braved the spiderwebs! Lovely walk through the nearby fern garden!
Last time I was here (it was a few years ago) there was a whole tree on tree situation that meant I was not able to do any real searching. Today, I did not have that problem. It still took a couple of laps to see what I needed to to see, but I eventually found what I needed to find.
I’m so glad I kept looking! Was almost wanting to lift bark to check underneath but that would have hurt the tree so no need to do that. Lovely hide. TFTC!
Lovely tree and hide too.
It took 5 or 6 circles to spot it...
Thanks also for recent maintenance.
Picked up on my weekend journey.

Picked up on my weekend journey.
Searched for a good while and still no find, checked up and down said area, thinking it may be missing.
Didn't understand the clue but still spent time at the level of a dog looking up, to no avail. Lovely fernery walk tho.
There was some clearing up around the area/tree so may have got lost with it. Owner to check please.
One of five caches located in the Matamata area today on our drive from Wellington up to Morrinsville. Got most of our trip completed before looking for any caches. No difficulty in spotting this one. Pleasant setting. #3531. TFTC.
Nice quick find but didn't really get the hint. Beautiful little walkway down here. Came after having a swim at the matamata pools. TFTC. Didn't bring pen so took photo for proof of find
Out on an adventure in the Waikato and found this one nice and quickly. Great little drive through Matamata
Failed before on this one and took two visits today but found in the end. Thanks for bringing us to this walkway.
Found while out biking on a Spring-like day. Lid was off and in full sight. Found lid on the ground a wee way away. Resurrected the good camo container and replaced at head height. TFTC
Heading home from Rotorua after a weekend away with Jag50 for the GC45 plaque event so collecting a few caches on the way. Nice to turn my frown upside down after 6 years. We weren’t looking high enough last time as I made a quick find of it this time
Heading home from our first road since COVID-19 in Rotorua, we stopped to collect a few caches on the way home. A quick find here once we looked at the right height. Glad one of us was tall enough to reach the cache.
Nice placement on a nice walkway. We had to wait for a few dog walkers to pass by but once the coast was clear we made a quick find. TFTC.
I am driving down to Rotorua for the 20th anniversary celebration on Saturday. This was a stop along the way. TFTC.

Today I'm starting my road trip home from Auckland to Nelson with my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. I'm going to be finding a few caches along the way. I couldn't find this one but looking at some logs now maybe I just wasn't looking high enough.
Getting my 12 year old daughter hooked on Caching. She found this one and now has the bug and wants to find more TFTC.
Found but forgot to log on 5th January. We were visiting and out’n about with my brother, having ridden in to town on our ebikes. What an asset Centennial Drive is to Matamata. TFTC
Found this one on 22/12 when stopping on our way through to
Hamilton. Very clever little hide and took us a bit longer than it should of I think. Thanks for the hide.

We found it on the ground. Must have been blown out by the wind. We put it back where we thought it belonged. Tftc with jakesrage
This is another cache I've looked for before.
This time I had the container in hand almost immediately.

I liked the hiding for this one, but the cache was very visible, saw it 3-4 meters away without looking. Pushed it a little bit more up when I put it back to keep muggles away. Think this was how it was supposed to be. Thanks for the cache!
Stopped on our way home from a weekend in HoraHora. Took the bikes off the back of Motor Home and ventured around town to pick up three caches I'd yet to find. Nice quick find here.
Cheers

So busy here I had to come three times to look. Tricky! Forgot my pen so photo proof.
We are visiting from Alberta, CA. Like many others, we circled the tree many times after decoding the hint. We were about to give up when hubby had another idea and met with success. Turns out this hide was similar to the first cache I found, aptly named "Ent" TFTF
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
With Lemmer in New Zealand at amazing caches. Thank you for showing all that beautiful places. flatrate
