Big thanks to fisho-ron for placing this cache. Cache number 9743 on October 3, 2024
On our travels we found ourselves in Tom price and took the lotto grab a few caches, a nice quick find safely off the main road, thanks for placing it
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia. After staying at Miliyanha Campground in Millstream Chichester National Park for the previous two nights we traveled to Tom Price to spend the afternoon finding a few caches along the way and around the town before rolling my swag out along the track to Karijini. Thanks for the cache fisho-ron!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped in Millstream-Chichester National Park again last night before heading down to Tom Price and Karijini National Park.A quick find here. Thanks fisho-ron for the cache.
Co-ords were about 9m out but I just went to the most obvious feature.SL TFTC
Chill day in Tom Price, so it's time to hit up some of the local caches ( the non strenuous ones at least ). Tftc
Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Found your cache easily and it was in good condition. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.
Eventually M had to get out of the car and find it for me as my phone GPS had me searching a few meters away from where it actually was. We added a new log page since the old ones were full.
Thanks for find #4509

Nice easy find on our way past. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
It was well worth the drive out. (No more space in log. If owner can replace log that would be great thanks) A bit of coordinates to!
We had been to Karratha to see the grandkids now it was time to take the long way back to the southwest. It’s been 13 years since we were last here.
Had checked into the caravan park (a tad expensive), found a few caches then did some shopping.
Now time for some late arvo caching.

A quick find here after a trip to the tip. Don’t know what i assumed it would be on the sign, but the arrow directed me elsewhere . I was soon at they real GZ and the cache was quickly in hand and signed

pug002 found it 17/8/2018 on our trip north geocaching. Off on another day of hopefully not too much mountain goating. TFTC fish-ron Needs new log and we didn't have one with us.
Found with the Fabulous Panda after a day out at Tom Price and the Nameless Jardunmunha Festival. TFTC
After a day in the national park we arrived in Tom Price late in the day and only had time to grab one cache and this was it.
It was quickly found and hopefully we'll have time to grab a few more before we leave tomorrow.
Thanks.

On a big round trip, heading up to my sisters in Newman and then across to Karajini Np, Tom Price and then to my Dad's in Carnarvon, to Shark bay and Monkey Mia, to Gerardton and back though Perth to Mandurah. Tftc.
Last one in TP. Well done for hiding all these. Some are quite challenging and interesting. I think Tom price is now on the Geo tourist map. TFTC
On our 2018 trip from Geelong. Went up to Alice and then Darwin and across to WA

Found this one after a short search! Very clever camo, love it! A favourite from us! Now for mole Hill.... TFTC
We found this to be a well hidden and well protected cache. The co-ords were good and made for a nice easy find. All was done properly before the container was returned to its hiding place. Our thanks go to fisho-ron for this cache placement as an intro to Tom Price.
Day seven and eight of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Day 7 saw us travelling from the our furthest point north on the trip in Port Hedland to Karijini National Park via Munjina, Tom Price and then back to Karijini.
We collected most caches between Port Hedland and karjini drive which we used as a turnoff into Karijini and ultimately Tom Price, which is my former home. We cached about, with me giving Cravo a guided tour of the lovely and picturesque town that has had a large number of upgrades since I last came through.
We found most of the caches in Tom Price before heading out to Karijini, which was our home for the next two nights, we checked in after grabbing a couple of caches along karjini drive including an archived cache.
We checked into our accomodation and had an hour to spare before dinner so I convinced Cravo that we should head to Oxers lookout and get some great snaps there, after grabbing both the traditional and the earth cache there I coaxed him down to weano George and ultimately the amphitheatre to grab a T5 cache by ZH before running back to the top of the gorge for dinner. We completed the gorge walk in 40 mins, including finding the cache, the recommended time on the signpost was 3hrs!!
We stayed at the Eco Retreat that night in one of their purpose built Eco tents which are highly recommend, a truly brilliant experience.
The next morning day 8 we explored the gorges as best we could picking up as many caches as available with a couple of them being unavailable due to road upgrades and some fires that have ripped through parts of Karijini. Highlight of the day was a huge swim at fortescue falls which left the both of us with some severe sunburn.
We completed the other t5 cache at Knox gorge which was a big walk down and a bigger walk back up. I was amazed at the upgrades that they had made to the stairs at fortescue falls, it used to be climbing down rocks.
Tomorow sees us heading towards the mining town of Newman, and with the obligatory detours on the way there!
Well a good pirate always hides his loot under an X, so well done! Nice quick find in the obvious spot. Interesting concept!

We stayed at the Eco Retreat that night in one of their purpose built Eco tents which are highly recommend, a truly brilliant experience. they do get really warm during the day however cool down nicely once the sun sets and make for a great sleep out in the wilderness

we may have introduced our selves to some German Backpackers that were a great laugh and good company giving them the one luxury that they were missing during there times travelling OZ - "Cold water"it may not of lasted long but was a absolute treat for them as a bag of ice to buy in the are was $6.50 minimum and out of there price range

Back on the bitumen,
I enjoyed the smooth,
not muddy drive into towne from the north this morning
Just before towne, I had to stop for a cache find
The 'X' is still there and pretty obvious if you think about it
Very close to the 'X' I soon found the cache in about the only place you could hide a cache here [^]

I've looked for this one before, but got it this time with a little help from Bjossi. A good end to a great weekend. TFTC
Out and about with pprass on a early morning run in Tom price. This was a simple park, walk in the pick up. Thanks for the cache
Found at 7:36 AM GAFF1 in the company of xambo4u at a distance of 7 metres.
We didn't have any luck finding an "X", but after a few moments we widened our search and saw a possible structure that could yield a cache and sure enough - there was a little mint tin [^]
Thanks fisho-ron.
