The plank has been washed away by the floods so the hide cannot be replicated/replaced. Will consider a different hide at this location.
The floods have washed away the cache host and cache. Will have a think about future options.
Taking offline due to significant flooding along the BLS trail. Once waters recede will check and perform maintenance as necessary, prior to reenabling.
Nearly walked a much harder plank across water before looking at terain rating and deciding it was probably not there.

Before finding this hide i had to wait it out for those 'Non-Geocaching Folk' to pass, so when they had i had a bit of a poke about but couldn't spot it... The penny drop moment came when i realized the Cache's Name, [they don't get any slower than this Wee-Blue-Birdies' wee brain ha ha ]
The plank was walked and the cache was quickly found then

Replaced back in original position with new container and attachment. The "plank" is a lot shorter these days having been chainsawed a few years back.
Out on a caching adventure of 4 days with bushfire, Brisal 5 and Blackadder. We stayed nearby at Goorambat and travelled around from there. This had to be postponed a few times due to Covid.
Tag along and I have been to Benalla many times as we lived nearby when we were married. This was a new experience though as I am a geocacher now.
Stopped here and signed in as 3Bs, Team 3B6 or used name stamps. The sun shone us all day despite the weather prediction of rain and cold..
Even though disabled we decided to try for it. Blackadder managed the find safely and we noted the log book was full. Replaced as found.
Thanks for the fun TeamBGF

In the Wangaratta area for a few days caching with my very good caching mate from Bacchus Marsh 6Hinemoa2 and great caching friend from Adelaide and his mate the Blackadders.
Due to COVID lockdowns and other problems this trip has been postponed a number of times but we are finally here. Once in the area we put 3B6 or Bushfire in our logs to save space.
I am running late with my logs after finding so many in five full on caching days.
With so many caches found I have to use the cut and paste method as we found so many great caches from so many different cachers, so a big thank you to all those folk.
I see that the owner has paid a visit, well done.

THE LATE TO THE WANGARATTA MEGA TOUR. [:o)]
We were booked for November 21. [^] Didn't Happen.
Booking transferred to February 22. covid
Booking transferred to May 2022. Yah - made it albeit a tad late.
DAY 3: Some Winton Wetlands and back to Benalla:
The Fab Four of Bushfire, Blackadders, brisal5 and 6himemoa2 set off for a days of Geocaching adventures. Although we had a plan A, we progressed through Plan A, Plan B and ended up doing Plan -wing it. [^] So to save space in logs we signed BBB6 or 3B6 or similar. Sometimes I stamped logs, but that ended very suddenly. Here is what we found during plan - wing it.
We were passing so we thought we may as well have a look anyway. The water level was very low and so we didn't have to walk the plank but go down under the plank for a look. There was the cache. Still attached to a tether that went nowhere! So we signed the log an moved on but we did this not the way we were supposed to.
***Thanks Team BGF for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Day 3 of a trip to Victoria targeting around the Benalla area with Brisal5, Bushfire and 6hinemoa2. The forecast for the day was for showers however it ended up as a perfect day for caching.
As always the planned targeted hides were not visited due to time constraints but many more varied and fun caches were found. A number of disabled caches were also looked for and found to be there but in need of attention by the owners.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Thank you for the cache Team BGF, found 5/05/2022, 4:37:21 PM

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Team BGF,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Well, this could have ended quite badly except that MsMandaMoo has gazelle like balance and was the one who walked the plank. Only for all of us to stare around and eventually find the cache clearly FAR from where it's supposed to be and unattached. TFTC Team BGF but this might need some repairs.
Having a wonderful girls weekend away in honour of the nearby Mega event, spending time with Mummy Short Legs and Ms Manda Moo and making the most of the caches in the area. Glad to be done with the coffee cups by this point, as we definitely needed our balance to search all possible hiding spots. The hunt was made slightly uncomfortable when a piece of bark that came free exposed a seething nest of ants that then pursued us wherever we went. We were getting frustrated with ourselves when a glance in the original spot we suspected actually revealed the goods! Whoops. Made that harder than it needed to be!! TFTC Team BGF
On the way to Wangaratta, Memorychip and I decided to unstrap the bikes from the Nissan Tiida and ride around to stretch the legs and collect some smiley faces. Beware of the horse sized mosquitoes .
Thanks for hiding and maintaining this series Such a beautiful spot that I have never been to before.

After some Op-shopping for Mrs P I thought it would be nice to go for a walk through this park and enjoy some shade and find a cache or few. After this one was found the going was too hot for my walking companions so we headed back for an air-conditioned drive to the Winton Wetlands. Thx Team BGF for this cache, I now hope to spend a holiday here and enjoy some more caching in your town.

Wow, very tricky spot for a cache, lucky it was a beautiful day. Might like to change the hint more like a log lol
Found by Rebel Acts
Mrs Rebel had to make a trip to Bonnie Doon to check on the horses at our Family property, this gave Me time to head over to Benella once again and make another dent in My unfound there.
This is one of the caches I found today. Walking the plank is something we used to love doing as kids as be imagined being pirates.
Thanks Team BGF for the cache.

Finally found it. Couldn’t see it for looking
We left Geelong this morning after 10 great days visiting, exploring and, of course, caching and set off for warmer pastures. As neither of us has spent any time in Benalla for years we thought we’d stop and take a look around, and see just how many caches we could find in an afternoon. The free caravan spot down past the library is great. Plenty of spots to pick from, walking distance to the shopping centre, free clean toilets under the library and caches all round. Some of them provided quite a challenge, some were pretty easy and by doing them we saw quite a bit of this pretty town and it’s lovely old buildings. Thanks to all the COs for their time and efforts. We really appreciate it.

My daughter loved this find!! We didn't bring our pen, so we haven't written on the log.
There is no way of hiding from a large group of senior citizens circling the lake! They stoped by to get the low down on what fish, or other wildlife may be living here! Waited for them to pass and collected the cache!
With restrictions in NE Vic easing this week it was time to get outside for a few caches with Cassie. I’ve been meaning to clean up the reef hills for a while so that became our afternoon target!
After that was done we turned our attention to Benalla to see if we could find a few Wonders.
A fun one for the two year old to ‘attempt’. Dad stepped in for the find though.

Another clever cache. Had me searching for this, til I realised I had to walk the plank. Soon had cache in hand. TFTC Team BGF
Found on a day trip with dalerious. While i was walking the plank dalerious was watching and laughing at my discomfort. After a bit of stretching and balancing i retrieved the cached and signed the log. Replaced as found. Thanks Team BGF.
Sue took the initial here and "walked the plank," whilst Dan took out the thermos and organised morning tea. We are visitors to Benalla and were impressed with how friendly everyone was as they walked by us. TFTC
Day 2 of batching and so my aim today was to beat my previous record for a single day - which stood at 50 on a day around Beechworth and the Murmungee Basin in July 2018. Not a very big target (I am to get my first 100 day later this week) but hoped to get to 51 to make a nice round number (2300). So the plan was to load up the blue grader with CDs (not much sport on today) and head to a place I hadn't cached previously - Benalla. A good number of caches in close proximity and the opportunity to explore an area I hadn't visited before (other than a drive through on the freeway). Got away later than I wanted (though I needed the sleep) and finished in the dark (last was signed in the headlights) but in the end achieved my target (actually got 54) with a few DNFs (though only 1 logged) and some clever caches found and some nice places visited.
No one about (seemed to be the trend here - the park was busy but each cache was people free) so walked the plank in freedom. Cache was exactly where I thought and so I set about signing the log. Juggling log, pen, iPad and lid I managed to drop the latter twice - first time landed on the plank, second time I had to dismount and hunt in the grass. In the end cache replaced with a bit of cover and no one observed my bumbling efforts.

Making our way home from our short stay in Bright, and stopping along the way to pick up a cache or two, we liked the idea of walking the plank. Steve had the honours and just as I was signing the log, we were sprung. Not much you can do in these situations, except smile and look like idiots:)
Thanks Team BGF. Lovely spot.

Ha ha - great hide but had a clumsy and then phew moment. - these wetlands are looking to be a nice discovery but looking at grassy spring growth I’m glad to be here now before the slithering snakes get too active! TFTC
Well hidden - I like this style but as a kiwi not accustomed to all the reptiles one might encounter I was a bit hesitant about caching in this area.
A muggle on a bike stopped right beside gz while I was signing the cache so I had to walk away with the log concealed in my hand til he left and I could return it.
Thanks Team BGF for the great trail of caches in this area

Walking around the Lake in Benalla today with the heavens about to open, but they held off and we completed the trail around the Lake.
Wonderful caches along the way, highlighting interesting places to see.
This one was cool, after thinking outside the square when we arrived at the GZ, we came up trumps relatively quickly.
Awesome work on this one, deserves a fav point for this one.

TFTC. We are staying at the show grounds for a few days. This morning we took the bikes off the back and went for a pedal around the lake to find as many caches as we could. A great couple of hours.
Had looked at this one this morning and came up empty. Obviously a coffe and a bit of caching opened the eyes,

After visiting yertle we came to find this. We had to fish around for a bit as gps was going in circles Found with fletch_4. We dropped a fairy as we thought she would like this area. TFTC SL TNLS. Enjoy the smiles
Found quickly, nice spot although very busy so stealth was required.

No chance of looking for this cache due to the high muggle count. Thanks for placing this cache for us anyway.
Long weekend and a rare getaway for Muttley! and I. A round trip to Benalla - Rushworth - Nagambie and home. This cache was a bit of a search looking atvthe wrong plank then we almost gave up and we spied it. Thanks to Team BGF for placing this cache.

A day in and around Benalla in the hope of converting the green and orange boxes on our geo-map to smiley tokens. Today there was probably more concern about snakes, than walking the plank. Everywhere we went the grass was knee high.
Thanks Team BGF for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

*Found the find whilst House Sitting in Mansfield*...
A beautiful day to be out this beautiful area with Happy Feet in Benalla. What a beautiful part of Australia to explore. Without Geocaching I would never have found so many interesting places in my travels. We really are so fortunate.
A short search, found cache, stamped and returned...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Team BGF. Appreciate your effort.

In Benalla grabbing a few caches with Snap Happy while caching in the area. Enjoyed the walk around the area making these finds. Had to pretend to take photos as there were some nearby young muggles but a quick find made by SH.

Suss' heart sank briefly when she saw the plank and thought for a moment that we'd have to balance to the end of it. Luckily, the hide was not mean and we could comfortably add our name to the log before catching up with the group of muggles we were walking with at this stage. They were chatting away and never noticed that we had gone "missing" for a few minutes.
Tftc was a nice easy find on a day trip to Benalla from my holiday in Mansfield
Mr Beetle walked the plank and found this one but not before I sent him on a fruitless search to the end of the longer and more treacherous plank!!!
Thanks.
