Found what appears to be the muggled remains of this cache today. CO has been informed.
Continuing our walk along the trail to the next cache for the night conversation were had about similar caches that had been discovered but not enough water to retrieve. Finding GZ we had JUST enough to retrieve the log.
TFTC.
TFTC.
Whyt Knight, nanton34 and I arrived at this one prepared thanks to nanton34's research, but only juuust prepared. Log book completely soaked and I would consider replacing the container in this one to keep it dry - tftc.
Another quick find, luckily I had read the clue on this one before we left home. Still we had just enough water to be get our hands on the log. Opening the cache to find an absolutely soaked and in need of attention. TFTC
we revisited this area after a previous DNF at another cache nearby this time we had the equipment, but only just. the middle ska kid caught the full brunt of the wee stream. i thought this was hilarious and had a great laugh . this is a great area thanks for showing it off.
After attending the event in Eltham this morning and then dropping off Fleabag-'s kids we headed out for a few hours today for a few that neither of us had found.
We came prepared for this one today and headed for GZ. GPS bounced around a bit here so spent a few minutes looking and then spotted it in a really obvious spot.
Did the business and had the cache in hand shortly after.
Thanks Tomo134 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

After attending a caching event in Eltham this morning, Spiffy- and I headed out for a day caching. I had tried this before with no luck. Today it still took a bit of searching because we were blind. Concerned the container is not water tight. Thanks Tomo134 for the cache.
After doing some other caches along the path is was time, as Eddie mcguire would say "phone a friend" QueenK8 was soon at Big V Little V. After the joy of that hide. We gave this a shot.

Here is what I have learnt about winter: as much as I try to rug up in front of the heater at home, I am never as warm there as I am when out walking. Having spent all morning trying to get warm and trying to write a speech for Sunday, I decided to go out and collect some local geocaches and meditate on the similarities between people and geocaches
Tomo134 has put out a great series of caches around Ringwood, and I've been meaning to look for them for sometime, and today was the day! I parked in Jeffrey Drive, then walked along the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail to Croydon, then back through the streets and parks to the car. It was a lovely walk, seeing different coloured camellias, wattle boughs laden with bursting buds or blossoms, buttercups, and all the plants in the winter light.
Anyway, this was the second of nine caches I found this afternoon. A brilliant concept! I had lots of fun collecting this one. Thanks for the cache, Tomo134!

Today is the find as many of the dnf from previous searches!! And success. I did however have to wander around and around poking thing with sticks!! Eventually spotted the item that should not be in the bush and legged over to it. A small moment of stupidity nearly saw me loose all my hint. But quickly I responded. Log is a smidge damp. All good otherwise. Thanks so much. This should give me a badge for the summer road trip. Very exciting!
The cache was a straightfoward find. This was the first of this type that we had found but we had come prepared and soon had the container in hand. But standing in the wrong place could be a problem! Nicely done. TFTC.

Thought we'd toss this one in the mix Cheers!

OzHockeyChick and I was out catching some solved caches today and this was on her to do list of randoms so we hit the geomobile and landed at this fella....
Long story short we did read about the cache and did read the factors involved but when we arived and checked the geomobile for said factors required to complete this cache we realized we didn't have the required apparell....But thats ok because i needed a wee and the rest is history.....cache found .......JUST KIDDING.....of course.....we did have something that assisted us in logging this cache and was done SANITARILY lol

I conserved my h2o for this final cache of the morning, and I needed almost every drop. Thanks for the cache, great construction
I am replacing this cache now...
Thanks for you patients, I just couldn't get the right container. But I have finally got it.

No idea!? Turned about looked up and down and in and out. Will have to come again another time!
Tried to find this with no luck. I had an idea what it would be having done a few before but 20minutes circling at GZ and I just couldn't see anything. I must be blind as someone else found it later that day...
After having our pi event this morning I had to find time to do a ? Cache today
I did this one after my girls basketball match,
The log is very wet,
Thanks Tomo134 [:x]

Quick find spotted by Lamb73 geo grand daughter. As we had the required we soon had the cache in hand. Log was damp but still able to write our log.
I have seen quite a few of these types now, many if them around here! Still great fun every time. Found the tool required nearby. The log is very wet; unsignable really. Maybe consider a bison tube instead of the existing container. TFTC!!!
Loved this one. Had never done any like this. Had a bit of trouble locating gz so found general area, looked around a little and then stopped to let compass settle down and noticed something that didn't look like it belonged. Clue very helpful but I was figuring it for another reason, Lol. Tftc enjoyed greatly.
Whilst geoson 7 was still recovering from what we think was a spitfire sting, geohusband, geoson 5 and geodaughter 3 set out to find this cache. I think they walked past it about 5 times before I said let me have a look and I walked right up to it! Kids loved the cache and we have done one like this before so they knew exactly what to do...geoson 7 also forgot about his sore finger!
Only realised now this was our 250th find so great cache for it and a favourite from us.

Good co-ords took me straight to GZ. It wasn't long before I was signing the cache as I had seen ones like this before. Thanks for the challenge Tomo134
I loved this one. I spent too much time overthinking this. Once I went back to basics it was quickly found. Luckily I was prepared. TFTC.
Quick find early this morning whist waiting for the traffic to die down as we have to drive to the city!

I enjoyed the stroll along the trail here, it is really lovely here. I spotted a tree with three cable ties, but after expanding my search area had no luck spotting the cache.
Thanks Tomo134 for the hide.
Thanks Tomo134 for the hide.
Clever hide and agin spot on coords. Had required tool so retrieve was easy. However log is saturated. Struggled to write name. Sorry no caching supplies with me or would have replaced for u. Tftc.
Out on a stormy afternoon as i was off from work. I needed to head out this way to drop into the mechanics. So i decided to find a few more caches that eluded me on the weekend. With less kids around playing sports it made it a whole lot easier. Cheers for all the great hides.
Back again with the required tool. I am happy to finally have found a cache of this style. As i have been told about them before.
With my scouts we have had a game made up like this. But it involves 4+ people to keep it all in. Lots of fun in the summer.

We set off today to find a handful of caches in this area.
Nice cache a classic, seen a few of these sort on youtube but this is the first one we have found, log was very wet so we couldn't log our visit, tftc Tomo134

Found @ 8:36pm, find # 3367.
Out and about on this Friday night with Biggles1024, this time to Ringwood and beyond.
We started at this little group of caches, parking just off Oban road and walking along the trail.
We arrived at this one and started to look around, I had an idea what we were looking for but it took a little while before it was spotted, but it didn't take long to extract the cache from the hide. The damp log was signed and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to Tomo134 for placing this cache.

Find #1317
Another Friday night of caching with Stemicmitsar. We headed to Ringwood for some suburban caching in order to take a break from the bush caching we had pursued over the past few weeks.
This was the first of what was to be many, many micros. My GPS did not like this location at all and it was Steve who found the cache. Extracting the container was quick and easy. We signed the log and proceeded to the next.

We arrived in the area totally unprepared, so when I looked at the hint, I knew pretty much what to expect. I went back to the car for the necessary stuff, but we'd left it at home so we just went past this to "Totally Typical". On the way back however, I noticed some rubbish that someone had discarded. Ar ha I thought. So armed with someone's rubbish and some other stuff that happens to be in the area I sought out the cache. My first attempt was amusingly unsuccessful, but on a second go I had the cache in hand.
Log pretty mangled and a bit damp, but sign-able.
Thanks Tomo134 - That was fun.

Found with Awegs. Was prepared and having done these before, knew to stand back... TFTC
I found the cache and it is looking good. Still where it was first hidden. But my downfall is not checking the hint before heading out here. Silly me, making me have to post a DNF. Will be back and prepared next time for it.
Out on a bike ride tonight with poptoppete destine for these three caches. Mission accomplished! Tftc and the much needed exercise 28.4km.
After having just had a nice relaxing massage in Ringwood I was determined to check this cache out again. Talk about mind over matter. How could I have missed this one last time.
It nearly bit me. retrieval was easy as I have seen them before,
Excellent Tomo134, thanks for the cache.

My phone had me hopping around a bit this morning so after a bit of wandering around I found this clever hide. Luckily I had my drink bottle with me! TFTC

TNLN, thanks Tomo134.
TNLN, thanks Tomo134.
Out to grab a couple of caches after work and before heading for orienteering.
Always a challenge to get these things out but this one is not too bad. Nice work.
Thanks for the cache Tomo134

I found this cache today at 5:00pm as cache 3 of 5 on a "Places I've Been Before" caching tour on the way home. I was near this one a few weeks back but didn't have the required items to complete so I let it be. Today, I returned well armed and the find was all mine. Thanks from D B-A.
Found with Trailruning on another Monday night cache adventure. Thanks for the cache. No trouble we came with a good supply.
A nice evening for caching and this was one I collected tonight with my caching buddy Rebel Acts. Easy retrieve, although I notice that it appears to need some mainteance as cachers are pulling the tube out to retrieve the cache. We used the H2o solution. Thanks.
Golly gosh almost poisoned myself with the dihydrogen monoxide their. Typical just typical. Tftc
I had a brief look for the CO's nearby newie with no success. Never having done any of this CO's previous hides I thought that I would have a look for the two others in the series to get an idea of the their hiding style. This was the first of the two. I looked around GZ for a minute or two before spotting the cache. I did what was necessary to extract the container and luckily there was no cache guardian when it popped out or a few untypical words may have been uttered. I extracted the log and signed it at 6:10 pm. TNLN.
On returning the container I lost concentration and literally wet myself! Being a rather hot day it dried fairly quickly and I headed off to see what Tomo134's next cache had in store for me. Thanks Tomo134 for all the fun and excitement of this cache and for bringing me to such a lovely bushy location in the middle of suburbia. [^] I've done a couple of these types of caches before but I guess I need a lot more experience to avoid future accidents. [8)]

Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, Lochb and pprass (signed as ABMP), at 1003. Another short walk to GZ, and we'd come prepared with what we needed. Alansee went right up to the cache, but didn't realise it at first. Had done a similar cache recently with pprass that used the same principle, but with added complications. This one was simple by comparison, and we were signing the log in no time. Our thanks to Tomo134.
Found in the company of Maccamob, pprass, and Lochb on a most enjoyable day caching. I was staring straight at the cache without actually seeing it when someone else espied it. Then it was a matter of applying the apporpriate technique and the generic ADBP (or variations thereof) was applied to save log space.
We didn't have the same spider experience as others seem to have.

Found what we were looking for after a short search - with Alansee standing right in front of it and looking right through it. Used the equipment we brought and the cache was in hand quickly. Found in the company of Alansee, maccamob and pprass. TFTC
Found at 10:02 AM GAFF5 in the company of Alansee, lochb and maccamob. A more docile version with just one digit required
Thanks Tomo134.
Thanks Tomo134.
Found this one today. It was totally what I expected but I seemed to have cache blindness today as it took me ages to find the actual cache. I then was surprised by the cache guardian that came out ahead of the actual cache. He is quite big and startled me because I was not expecting him. I think he was trying to keep cool today. Signed log and returned cache to its hide.
Thanks for the cache Tomo134.
Thanks for the cache Tomo134.
This one surprised me twice - first a big spider came out then I got well squirted. Thanks Tomo134. I'll give it a star.
I went out with Crusty K9 to find a cache to fill todays date in my quest for a cache a day. Found this one but didn't have the required equipment to extract the cache. Thinking outside the square, I managed to retrieve it. tftc. Very clever.
Crusty.

Had an afternoon off from work and the good lady Mrs Happy pants and myself headed off to Croydon to clean up a few caches that have come up in the last few weeks. It seems that each time I come here and find a few new ones, there seems to be yet another hidden within days of me being here. A nice walk into the gz today in between a few light showers and I came prepared with my extraction tool for what was a clever hide. These hides are always good fun and it was a pity we didn't have the young geo kids with us as they would looove this hide. A quick find and signed the log, worth a fave. Thanks Tomo134 for the cache.
After dropping MMelb off at Youth Group we set off to do some caching but as we were going towards this area we decided to do some maintenance of our own caches on the way. This meant it was after 8pm before we found our first cache for the evening.
By now it was starting to get dusky but we soon located the cache and performed the deed - very cool! Luckily we didn't do what the FTF'er did lol, how funny!!!!! We were stunned to be 2TF 6 days after publication!! A fave point for the fun type of cache and pretty location.

My First FTF!
Having just ticked over 100 caches I treated myself to Premium Membership last week which opened up a whole lot more features, including the alerts. A few new caches started popping up in the email alerts on Sunday morning, but figuring they were all fairly close to each other I'll leave it the usual suspects to jump in the car and pick up the FTF. This one remained unclaimed overnight. Was the system broken? Why wouldn't anyone go for it? Given this was very close to work I figure this is an opportunity that can't be missed!
The name of the cache sounded suspiciously like a series I had seen on YouTube. I armed myself with a bunch of tools in case they were required (many of which were). GZ put me on an unusual feature but no cache there. Broadening the search a couple of metres I spotted what I exactly was expecting. Despite knowing full well how to extract the log, in all the excitement I managed to disgrace my pants, oops I cleaned myself up and left the scene, without being muggled out.
Thanks for the cache Tomo and looking forward to more in your series!
