We landed in Christchurch yesterday with Robmc to start our 7 week adventure. Today we rode the gondola up to Mt Cavendish where we had a couple of DNFs and then down to Lyttleton Harbour for lunch and a couple more DNFs. This one we did find thank goodness and we were surprised to know the owner. Nice hide
Day two of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Staying in Christchurch and spent the day on the gondola and the tunnel to Lyttelton. We were looking for a place to have lunch, and checked out this park.No picnic tables (or chairs!), but we did located a cache.Nice hide, but needs restaking. Thanks, Robmc.
Nice wee find on a sunny day out... happy to tick this one off my list
TFTC. Had to look twice at it to make sure I'd not missed it. Great idea. Didn't sign log though. Looked as though it had been just chucked in the bush.
Cache 1408 Heading to Christchurch for a geocaching holiday this week where I’m targeting hidden days/months and a few D/T and to sign challenge caches. This cache was a needed hidden month, Parked up right next to GZ, man there is a lot of rubbish in and around these bushes Even still I was quite to spy the prize, I struggled to get log out of the internal container which is very rusted, log was a little damp but writable T4TC
Wow, it would have been a great cache once. It's looking a bit the worst for wear. Unfortunately there is a lot of rubbish around as well. Thanks for the placement sharkiefan
Visiting the area today along with gathering a few caches found this one ..I can see it was once a great cache..sadly it requires some TLCits just lying there amongst the rubbish thanks sharkie fan replaced as found
Quick find since previously finding another of sharkies stakelands. Also made quicker by a late muggless evening. Thanks!!
Found with Wisco Bryo and Hugh the Cache Dog. Love these kinds of hides.
Not quite the nice quick find we were hoping for but we got there in the end
Cache is getting a bit worse for wear and inner container is missing it's lid.
Log is fairly dry but bag was ripped so I popped it in a new plastic bag so should be good for now.
TFTC- clever idea!

We were heading towards Lyttleton to spend the night with the freedom campers over there, so we decided to find a few caches as there was still a bit of daylight left.
We did have to wait for a few muggles to move along before we could search for this one.
I read through some older logs and soon realised where we needed to look to find this one. It was a quick enough find. We signed the log and returned it as we found it.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Too many muggles about only had a quick dash... Found a baby car seat in the bushes but sure this wasn't it
Will come back when it's less busy

Out for a quick caching mission this side of town. Quiet in the afternoon with no one around so a quick find.

Stakes are always high in Stake Land!
This could be the tagline for the imaginary Stake Land TV series!
I came and I found the cache at stake right away. Where was I looking the last time when I had a DNF, I don't know. Seemingly at the same spot!

What do you do when the wee ones want to go ice skating, and you don't, and you have two hours to kill? Throw the bike on the back of the car, and come out to cache! Had a nice day out riding the nearby track.
Ha! Nice one here.
SL/TFTC!!

Didn’t realise I had actually found another one of these last year. So cool. Very damp log paper so I put in a couple of bits of waterproof paper. Tftc
I'm getting used to what I should be looking for, and they do come in different shapes! This one was having a sleep, so not quite the normal. A quick retrieve between muggles, cheers!
Luckily I had the place completely to myself this evening which meant I could have a good poke around before I spied what I was after. It's a while since I last found one. Nice spot. TFTC # 11,762
Our second find in the series so we knew what we were looking for. Very nice hide, it still took us a few minutes to track down. Tftc!
Cheers for the quick find as per hint. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
TFTC with cab165. Nicely created, good craftsmanship. So much more than a mint tin, which is important. Good job
Found with odgersaj when he was doing 100 in a month! Signed the log back then but didn't do the online bit so logging now. Thank you!!
Find #2656. Taking a short holiday in Christchurch to explore the city by bike and collect caches. Day three and 65km down the Avon and back up the Heathcote, collecting 29 caches. A great ride! Quiet here and a quick find. SL TFTC
Out on a drive to try and get Mr2 to fall asleep (not working!) Had looked for this once before but failed. Today I had my caching eyes in a quickly found the wee cache. Cache damp but log ok. Tftc.
We headed out early afternoon for the Heathcote / Ferrymead area to look for some caches - our mission was to turn today into a least a tensy day, and we easily achieved that target.
We have found a few in the series before so knew what to look for. Got a park close by and soon found the cache. TFTC.

Geotooter and I travelled across the ditch to attend the Christchurch Mega Event. One of the things I really enjoy about Mega Events is meeting so many wonderful people. It is a chance to catch up with those I already know and to make a whole bunch of new friends. I even managed to catch up with Renelm, a cacher I met while in Copenhagen earlier this year. Fantastic! We also enjoyed tripping around discovering new locations and finding some caches along the way and this was one of them. Thanks to the CO for placing this hide and adding to my global geocaching experience. Cheers.

Quick find and whilst there was not much at stake I had to be stealthy due to the arrival en mass of people in suits!
MIBs???
Cache was a bit wet so dried it on car bonnet.

Pretty quiet out here today due to the bitterly cold southerly. Found after a quick game of mini golf. TFTC.
Was out taking the pup for walk in old hunting ground & check on one of my caches in area. So thought do this one on walk around. No pencil so photo will be uploaded.
After climbing the bridle path which lacked in caches I decided to make the detour to find this cache. Quick find and no one around today. TFTC
Having had a lovely time at Ferrymead's community day, it's time to do some caching. And what a good one to start with. TFTC
Nice cache! Very creative, muggles were around but with a bit of stealth we got it.

Arrived at GZ to find some muggles having a picnic in the carpark so was restricted with my search. Left after a while and returned later to find it almost in the first place I looked. Another clever cache. tftc
TFTC. Nice place and we entered the park to listen to music played by chch junior Orchestra-
Today I rode my bicycle through Christchurch. I was able to discover many beautiful spots and find geochaches. Thank you to each of the owners for the hide geocaches.
