### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache is being temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.

CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. **Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**

#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain this cache now, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to log an 'Owner Maintenance ' log and also Enable the cache once the issue is fixed.

- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.

#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

**JUST A HINT:-** In case you are not aware, there is a new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

No luck finding this one today.

Fairly quick find.

Unfortunately keyring attaching the cache disintegrated on retrieval, container placed at the base of the tree under the old attachment point.

Also log is full, but managed to squeeze a JRB into a corner of the sheet.

Found on the ground, rehung in good position, all good. Great day for a long bike ride. Really enjoyed these cache hides along the trails.some hard and some harder.
Thanks for your efforts in placing these for us to look for.

13-Oct-19
Bought new bikes and a bike rack last weekend and thought no better place to test them out along the rail trail. A quick find and on the the next!

22-May-19
After having a walk over at The Banksias Nature Reserve nearby I thought I had just enough time to cover off another section of the G2Q trail and get the total kilometres walked up to roughly 15km. Well, I just squeaked it in before dark. Nature Boy in particular soaked up a fair bit of time and took me a second pass before I laid hands on it.
Otherwise all caches bar one were found where the coords said they would be and although I'm not a huge fan of bisons in trees most were not too painful to locate especially as they were non-camoed. There's very little worse than hunting down a freshly camoed bison in say a pine cone on a pine tree.
Many thanks to ozbob and the other COs for placing these caches to be found by the rest of us.

Out on the deadly today to do as many of the C2Q series from Drysdale to Queenscliff before catching the train back, most were quick easy finds while a few took five minutes or more til they were found,

This log is to tidy up a mess I made with GSAK . I forgot to apply the template so my finds were published with a nonsensical log.

Rather than try and edit all the logs I post this not with what the log should have been.

My apologies for the confusion caused.

A few days away with Freddo, e.gregory1 and The White Dog Gang.

Fun was had by all. Not too many dnfs

Most logs signed as FETT.

Thanks for all the caches.

27-Dec-18
Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.

The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’

Thanks ozbob for the cache.

56 finds today on the trail using our hired electric bikes which were brilliant.
Quite a few dnfs though as weapplied Draper's rule of "no shilly-shallying!" This was one of them.

Looking to complete #1000 before years end.

TFTC ozbob and your maintenance of same.

TNLN.

Note: The twig to which the cache is attached is still where it should be (I think) but, the twig is no longer attached to the branch. Needs some remedial action before it is lost in the undergrowth.

Yeah, it’s Mega Time, here in the area for The Surf Coast Event this coming weekend but I have a week off in the lead up and so there I a little to organise but mostly it caching.
Today MuggleWifeDoes and I have teamed up with gmj31891 and PamJ to ride the latter part of the Geelong to Queenscliff Rail Trail starting at Curlewis and finishing at Queenscliff. Time however got the better of us and we needed to skip a few at the end to finish before dark, these we will need to return for on another day along with those in the earlier stages.
It was a glorious spring day on the Bellarine Peninsula and the ride was mostly downhill and slow due to the fact that we were stopping every 200 meters (on average) to search for geocaches.
We stopped for lunch at the lake and Drysdale Station, what a beautiful view, no time for a wander or the caches around the lake, we just enjoyed the serenity and shade of that big pine tree.
Thanks to the entire group for their work on the rail trail caches in the area, it is a definite attraction to bring seekers to the challenge.
The cache finds were shared by all with individual cache senses activated by the variety of hides, always changing, always slightly different.
**Thanks for placing this cache ozbob**

**Date: Wed 9 Nov 2016**
After arriving at Anglesea on Tuesday, we set up camp and went caching with BernieH and Annie aka MuggleWife on Wednesday. We started half way through the Geelong to Queenscliff Rail Trail series. The weather was kind, and we were pretty tired when we finished, bur it was a great day. Most of the caches were found without too much trouble although we did have a few DNFs.
This was one of the ones we found.

**Thanks for placing this cache ozbob**

My fifth day of my geocaching holiday. Some of my chosen caching grounds ended up a bust, but I found other places to hunt.
I finally had a chance to use my bike. After finding some of this series yesterday, I found a good location in the middle to continue on with. Over all I only covered 10Km of the trail, of which I had to ride back to return to my car before it got too dark. On the way I caught up to another geocaching party who I joined for the last 3 caches.

Thanks for all the caches!Cool

Day 3 of our geoholiday in Victoria and today we are tackling the other half of this bike track, we started at G2Q Curlewis: End of the Line and finished at Queenscliff, we took our time riding the track taking in the sights, found the hides quite different to what we are use to back home and there are some really brilliant hides along here, the weather was great for us while we were here and each day was in the low 20s which made for great bike riding, a huge Thank you to all the COs that placed these caches for us to find. Found by The Empire + Nicole_Louise
Walking sections of the G2Q trail, with a bit of car shuffling in between. Another shuffle and we were back on the track. We saw plenty of bike riders, dog walkers and runners during the day - no other cachers though. Wooooooooooo! (think Nature Boy Rick Flair) We found this one pretty easily, once we read some logs. Our thanks to all the geocachers who set-up this great series.
- M

14-Feb-16
The hint still rings true - the cache actually is hanging, it's just that the branch is no longer connected to a tree haha. I think The Empire was hoping for a wrestling themed cache here, but the title has so many possible connotations and alas it wasn't to be. TFTC Smile

05-Feb-16
Went out today to do a small section of 8 caches. All up was a quick walk with a lot of the finds being very simple. And only 1 DNF.

I searched for about 5 mins but gave up quickly. Noted from previous finders that it is damaged and on ground. But there was to many options without co-ords.

TFTC.

Staying with the hubby and the geokids (5 & 6) on the Bellarine for a few days of relaxation before school/kinder starts back on Monday. I popped out for a walk tonight whilst the boys stayed to swim. This one took me ages as cache is no longer connected to a tree (well it is to a broken branch). This will need fixing. Many thanks Smile

Catching up on logs from a week ago; and what a week it's been, travelling the Great Ocean Road. I absolutely love the safety of riding this trail and am thrilled to be back finishing the lower half of the trail after walking the top part last year. Although I enjoyed the overall variety of containers, the number of bisons hanging around on the lower part of series did drive me to distraction. I know such hides appeal to others and, regardless of my personal dislike for the hide, I am very grateful for the time taken by individuals to create this fantastic series. Thanks to you all. I hope I have correctly logged my 2 DNFs from the day on the correct caches and a K.B. should appear somewhere on the logs of the others.

This one could have been quite tricky, but fortunately I happened to,stand in the right place first up, so was in hand ,signed and returned in double quick time tftc ozbob

Geohubby and I had hired bikes in Queenscliff and were on our way to Drysdale. Not having ridden bikes in many decades, our legs and BEhinds were starting to ache and make our brains not work. It seems to be taking longer to find all these pesky bison tubes... I wonder if they have taxis in Drysdale, that can fit bikes in. I don't think I will make it back to the motel again! Once again the Old Men Banksia were splitting their sides laughing at us staring at them with blank faces... TFTC
