Thinking this one may be missing as GZ appears to haven been recently bulldozed over, CO may need to investigate to see if it is still there.
Three of us arrived at GZ today (at least according to three different GPSrs) only to find a construction fence blocking our way. We looked past it to see that the ground had been cleared, and a lot of earthmoving activity was taking place a short distance further on, so we were unable to proceed any further even if we had wished to.
Maybe the CO needs to visit to check and either temporarily disable, or reassure future visitors that all is OK (in which case we each had a serious case of cache blindness!).

I am suspecting that due to the construction in the area that this cache has gone.
GZ put me right on the boundary where a tree once was but all that remains are a few roots of a once lovely ficus tree. Tree and cache now gone.

Found it! Couldn't get it out even with a knife.....site being developed..... Fun for our first geocache
Wow! Something really different! Had difficulty finding where to park first, then the GPS was all over the place. Glad I persevered. Clever cache and hide!
Was in the area and noticed this one nearby so came for a look, soon spotted the subject and had the cache in hand.TFTC.Blacklegend.
With light fading fast I was hoping this would be a quick find. Once I had traversed the park and headed towards GZ. I wondered if the nearby muggle residences we're going to provide a problem but GZ was well hidden from view. Only a few mozzies were around to provide some annoyance.
Lucky for me I always carry my caching tools so grabbed the appropriate one and removed cache in its entirety. Not sure how long the live bug had been in cache but he is now free. Log signed and cache replaced with care so that next cacher can remove with a little less trouble.
Great thought with this hide. I like it a lot. Favourite point on the way.

Had to hire a car to do any more caching this holiday. I better find many to make the money worth while.
A nice simple find. But the container has been jammed deep inside the camouflage. I could only pry the lid out enough to sign the log. Hopefully I pushed it back in enough to keep it water-tight.
Thanks for the cache.

Today it was time for a family trip to the nearby shopping heaven. While others started to make their way to the endless shops, I kindly got a permission to get one cache. Decided to do the furthest one today, saving the closer ones to other times.
Very nice new area has been built around here. Very flash, very contemporary, very shiny. [^] Though I have to say that it feels a bit of stretch to have a 100 m wide pond with a massive banner for "Waterfront Apartments" hang up. Pheeew, one must be quite desperate to call them waterfront.
Continued the trek, spotted a canal and decided this side would be right. Though it seems to be easy to access the cache from both sides unless there's a massive water surge.
I was first very cautious about being right under other peoples noses if they are home but at the GZ my hesitation was soon gone as the spot was well covered from sight.
Did the last few meters and immediately realised what most likely is the cache. Now, that held true but opening the container required some brute force. As I didn't have my caching bag with me, had to resort to car keys and that certainly did not make wonders to the lid. I apologise that the hide is not in the same or better shape after me!
The trouble is that the container has been pushed way to far into the holder / hide, and the lid is inaccessible without tools.
Log signed, things put gently back and the great hide returned as it was. Nice effort gone into construction of this. TFTC, Blacklegend!

Nice find, plenty of fish around... Only thing is, the ants have also made it a home... TFTC BilliBopz
WOW what an unexpected surprise!!!!
After a couple days of heavy rain the grass land was under about 20 cm of water!
We survived that and the next problem was just around the corner....
The cache had made a great dry home for the ants, After one soled thump on the ground to get the ants off of it, we realized that we pushed the cache along way up We manged to retrieve it and sign the log and replace it with no damage!!
Another favorite point spent!!

Its Xmas Eve a little last minute shopping & time to grab a few caches.
This is probably the closest cache to the caravan park, been by a number of times & today we thought we should grab it.
Thanks for placing this cache Blacklegend

After no luck at Driftwood it was great to get a smiley here. I always appreciate it when thought and effort has gone into cache construction & camo. Cheers Blacklegend
Arrived here with Ms Wig who had found it before, and she mentioned on the way over "you will like this one"
Arriving at GZ I found the cache quickly and yes, nice work on this one!
Thanks Blacklegend

Looking at the map we thought this one may have not been accessible while doing the loop. When we drove close we realised it was just a walk. Arriving at GZ Anth ducked in and spotted the well constructed container. Thanks for placing the 672nd cache that we have found so far Blacklegend!
I came down to the Gold Coast today to visit Bristracker and pick up some caches. This trail was a good chance to pick up a few caches. A bit boggy but a great cache. TFTC
Seriously bad weather but ventured out with riotbug. Nice bit of work on the cache. TFTC.
I found this well constructed cache whilst visiting from the Sunny Coast. Thanks for the effort and creativity that you have put into this cache 'Blacklegend' and for that I am going to offer you a Fav' point. There are not enough caches like this anymore and it is refreshing not to find just another 'Drop-N-Go' geocache.
Thanks for this interesting cache 'Blacklegend'!

With a tiring bunch of friends miss susan, lisylou and bennybopper a great way to end the weekend. TFTC
Just after dark we headed over to gz, as we rounded the tree a man and his dog were a little surprised to see us there but the dog was very happy to see us , we made a new friend. Once they left we quickly got closer to gz and got our hands on the cache almost immediately. Nice cache, good camo. Another nice quick and easy one, very tired now, time to go home to bed. Tftc
Out for a morning walk with my father in law. Nice wee hide here and an instant find.
Thanks Blacklegend for the cache.

A short walk from the road put me at GZ. Not too sure a about the fishing, water looked a bit dodgy today. Loved the hide. Think it may well be extremely muggle proof but plain as the nose on your face to the average geocacher. A fav point for me. Well done. TFTC
A day out with JooJoo57 and Team Biffo. Interesting spot - don't assume - TFTC
Out with Richmond Lad and Team Biffo for an afternoon of searching for Blacklegend caches. had a great time searching. Thanks for the caches.
Great hide but took a little effort to get it out.

Out with Richmond Lad and JooJoo57. We were first to GZ however where the cache was we saw but thought thought to obvious . TFTC
My last day on the Gold Coast so time to go and find some more caches in the area before heading off on my homeward journey. The last finder of this cache was also from Nelson, New Zealand. Inspected one object that wasn't the cache and then the object that was. Nice one again!! TFTC, Biggles.
Out on a Black Legend caching run this afternoon. Enjoyed the walk to this one. Nice camo.

The geomut is enjoying his evening stroll around the area. Mr. Herbz soon had this nicely crafted one in hand . TFTC Blacklegend.
Loved this hide, but I have to admit while I was signing the log I jumped when I heard a noise, thinking oh no I've been busted! Only to turn around an find a school of 5 or 6 big fish playing in the water.
I was meeting up with Fangsoki, Captain Terror and Net88 nearby but there was time for a cache along the way. I took a very minor detour and the cache was soon in hand.
Nice bit of camo Blacklegend. Thanks for the cache.
Find number 1832.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 1832...... In the year 1832 Dr. Thomas Bell begins publication of "A Monograph of the Testudinata", the first comprehensive study of the world's turtles.
Nice bit of camo Blacklegend. Thanks for the cache.

There was a large flock of birds as approached, but they didn't hang around for to reach GZ.
I like the container, it is a nice construction job.
Thanks for the cache.

Before we headed into this one I did a quick check of the satellite map just to be sure that we were heading in on the right side. Turns out I was going to take us the wrong side, but not to worry that is why we check things first.
It was a nice walk in with a couple of ducks, and some palavers that took off making a lot of racket. Anyway got to the likely area, and found something that looked interesting, I had found a couple on the same premise before so it did not take much for me to figure the location out.

On our way to check out the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation area but pulled into this little pocket just off the highway to collect some of BlackLegend's caches while we were on the way.
Nice hide for a quick and easy find. The hide may soon need some maintenance though as the inner container had been pushed down too far so as to start to split the outer container.

Nice effort making the hide.
Luckily we found it quickly as it was a scorcher.

Another empty "park". A nice open and green space, but not much else going for it. At least that should keep the number of muggles down.
The general area of GZ was obvious on approach. I am glad I am an experienced cacher. This one could keep the newbies guessing for a while Nicely done. A favourite from me

Big weekend down the Gold Coast and disappointed not to meet the Blacklegend in person. Next best thing was to log a few of his caches
So today was a beach morning and big surf and really enjoyed my romp in the washing machine. Followed that up with a stop at a local dive shop to pick up some new gear. Then milkshakes and a few more caches with
By now I had forgotten about driving back to Brisneyland and was enjoying the trail around here. Almost tripped over the cache Noice bit of craftsmanship. Quick scribble in the logbook and on we rolled...

I was running out of daylight as I strolled over to the search area but luckily there was enough light for a search and I soon spotted the well camoed hide.
Thanks Blacklegends for putting out all the new caches in the area. I had to leave after this one but I will be back for another visit soon.

We thought we were here alone but arriving at GZ birds started scrambling and flapping off. Now we're alone. Not knowing just what part of GZ to start searching we were glad to find this clever hide quite quickly. TFTC Blacklegend.
Naturally I took the wrong side ( as I thought) then moved to the other side only to find I had been right first time. Storm threatening so I kept moving.
My fourth find of the day. Interesting story about the area. Once at GZ the cache was found without too much bother. Muggle free area. TFTC SL.

We headed over to GZ for this cache and spied the well constructed cache fairly quickly. For that we were grateful as it was jolly hot out caching today and we were already feeling the heat. We had a bit of trouble accessing the log of the cache as it's container was stuck in deep. With some assistance we achieved our goal and replaced it after signing and should be easier for the next geocachers. Many thanks for the cache Blacklegend. [^][^]
Headed out today while the family were asleep, had to make a few other stops but I managed to squeeze in a few finds on the way home.
After dodging all the workmen and trucks I managed to grab a good car park. I spotted the likely area from the road and sure enough it was GZ. Awesome construction plus plenty of cover to do your thing before replacing.
Thanks again for the new ones BL.

This week I have a late shift at work.
So that means I have an early shift for caching.
With there being a multitude of new caches in this are I thought I would have a go at them this morning.
Another find this morning. What I have to walk to a cache. lol
A quick find as the outer container was on its side. Corrected now.
Thanks for the cache.

Well I did enjoy the walk to this one it was where I thought it could be....at 1st glance I thought hmmmm nah but I have it a go and what do you know? It was...it gave me a giggle and it was my favourite for the day TFTC
Again third to find today. Off home for lunch and to test my astronomy skills for nearby new astro puzzles that were published whilst I was busy at the Broadwater this morning. Thanks Blacklegend.
