Time to make an announcement to get cachers to grab the TB's still checked into this event, and also time to archive, since the event was 5 weeks ago.

It has been over a month, so the cache is now archived. I have emailed all those who attended asking them to retrieve the remaining trackables. Great to meet you all.

A lovely time meeting the inglis girls with MazzaG on 28th December and a pleasure to meet other caters .
Phew it was hot!

I'm down in Melbourne with T-Tech visiting relatives for Christmas, and while I'm here I want to grab as many caches as possible to fill in gaps on my Jasmer grid, as well as some of the more unusual icons. And today we are taking a road trip to Melbourne city then to Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale via Geelong, in an attempt to grab 9 different cache types in one day [^]
This is our Event cache, #4/9. I was delighted to find it was happening today [^] As we arrived on the riverfront we met up with gis&ger, then we all spotted Inglis3 and joined them. Soon lots more cachers arrived, and many TBs were handed around, and a good natter about all things geocaching was had. A few of us even admitted to being 10-pound poms although brought here by our parents in the 1960s and 70s. I’m delighted to have attended today, so TFTE, Inglis3. Safe travels while you’re here in Aus, and thanks for taking my 2 TBs to the UK

I saw this pop up before we left Perth and realised that we were in the city on that day so off we set. It was great to meet all the local cachers and a couple of tourists like ourselves. Thank for the event Inglis3, hope to catch up next time we are over in your neck of the woods.
Thank you all for attening, it was great to meet you all and exchange travel bugs and stories. I will log all the trackables when I get home. Jane of Inglis3
Nice to meet the Inglis Girls. Enjoy your trip around Australia as well as the cricket.
Dropped off Boo's own and Erdlinge.
Took Affirmed and Birdie's Rook Travel Tag and will aim to disperse them around Melbourne soon.

You travel half way across the world and meet a cacher who lives 40 miles away! A brilliant event and it was nice to meet some local cachers too. Managed to find someone to tske some TB's off us too. Thanks inglis3 for a great event!
An event in December, in 35° heat! Brilliant! Thank you Jane for organising, and lovely to meet you all. Dropped off Mel the Koala TB to try and beat his twin Syd back to the UK. Good luck Mel!
Thanks for the chat, meet and the TB swap. Great to meet everyone and especially geo folk from OS, even if you were part of the Barmy Army. Ha ha. well done! Hope you enjoy the rest of your visit. Sydney fireworks NYE is second to none, take my word for it...
Got to town for this event just before it got really hot. Still quite warm. Great to cactch up with travellers from near and far. Thanks for the event Inglis3

Down from Brisbane with IolantheK for Christmas [^]
Thought we'd attempt a 9 Geocache Types in a day
This was our "Event" for today's attempt.
Arrived at GZ a bit ahead of time and ran into a couple of Geocachers (gis+ger) looking for the event.
It didn't take long to spot Inglis3 and her barmy army" of daughters.
A great time swapping stories and discussing the weather before moving on

T-Tech and I would be very glad to attend this Event We are visiting cousins in Melbourne for Christmas, and have a road trip to Geelong planned for Saturday to grab as many different cache types as possible [^] This one will fit in very nicely.
GMelb will be at the cricket Friday but will attend this event on Saturday. Got to see Sids at the G (ie Peter Siddle at the MCG).
Well chosen spot. We have in our posession 2 TB's that needs to reach their targets and happy to swap any you may have. All going well see you there.
(Note do not leave TB's in nearby caches. TB/geocoin theives are rampent here. Lost some that we left here 12 months ago).

Oooooh BlackJack.....
Will also be in Melbourne for the Test, but when this is happening I'll be at the MCG watching the game
Indeed a good spot. I too would attend but unfortunately it clashes with a very popular event at Wonthaggi. Hope that you have a good day.
Great spot, if I'm not working then will attend & meet some UK cachers & do a TB swap
We will be at the Wonthaggi event and wont be able to make this one. As for the Ashes, save your money it is a forgone conclusion that Australia will win..lol
have a great event.

Would love to attend but we are on holiday and have to pass on this one. Have a good time everyone!
That spot is a really nice spot, well picked! I shall attempt to be there with bells on - depending on how intense the Boxing Day match is.
