This cache took Grub62 and I a few minutes to spot and we really needed our TOTT to get to it. Thanks to the CO for the entertainment and TFTC.
This cache was on my hit list today as I needed a cache 811kms from home for a Challenge Cache in Victoria. Yay we found it and bunadoorian was able to use a TOTT to reach and replace the cache. We are travelling today from Albury to Forster Tuncurry. TFTC and for bringing us here - Steam koala.
Big reach. Had to bring in a climbing aid. Thanks for this one. Great part of earlier memories . Thanks for the cache
Found this cache after a picnic lunch and walk at the Hunter Region Botanical Gardens. It was the perfect detour on the way to Stockton as the southbound traffic on the A1 was going at a crawl. I spotted it, the tall one grabbed it, and Danny the Dog barked his approval. Log is full. TFTC.
5.25pmOn our way to Canberra for a family birthday celebration, I have saved a list of caches to pick up in LGAs I am missing.Pushed for time, this was the last easy find before our dinner reservation with friends at 6pm. Couldn't see the cache so climbed onto the bull bar of the 4x4 and located the container. With log signed cache was returned. Interesting location.Tftc
For me it was the height issue muggles leaving work must thought I was crazy after I park my car under GZ Have to come back another time with someone else or a tool to help me. Hopefully I didnt make it harder for the next person when I attempted to get the cache.
Detour off the highway, parked nearby, A bit of search but eventually found it after feeling my way round.
Brings back very fond memories of nights at the speedway. Even if you were no there, and with the right wind, i could hear them at Waratah West.
Quick find once i implemented at very mobile tott. TFTC.

Up in the area for the day looking at caravans. Luckily kiwisteve2 was just athletic enough to make the grab.

Short detour off the highway and needed my tott (Jason) to reach this one. Signing duties complete and we're on our way north again. Tftc
A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Too short. Managed to jump and put it into a worse spot. Back to the car for the trusty TOTT.

Way too high for a little guy like me; but I just happened too have a Ladder with me. Difficult to initially find but persistance won in the end.
On way back from weekend at Dungog camping. Nice birthday find. I’m 5’3 and luckily had a tent support in 4WD
#5957.
I had to pick up one of my kids where the could have a better vantage point from. Luckily I was at exactly the right spot to make it an easy find. TFTC!

After a couple of DNF's, I called in on the way home from work, and yes, it's still there right where it was originally placed many years ago. You just have to think tall
TFTC, weekend away with friends camping at Riverwood Downs, so of course we had to do some finds Found with Gusph. Not sure he enjoyed how he needed to get taller

Few days off over Easter so we decided to drive from the Gold Coast to Sydney and back (in four days). Went the coast road on the way down, and then wanted to go the New England Highway on the way back, yet somehow found ourselves on The Buckets Way. Much more Scenic, but certainly made the trip considerably longer. Didn't look for many caches, just ticked off each Local Government Area on the way down and up, we already had a lot of driving, and I was probably pushing my luck with what I did already.
I'm 204 centimetres and that was a reach! But we got there and we signed the log and now we're collecting a smiley for our troubles.
Thanks for the cache **Steam koala**

Dayboro trip. Day 2. After an evening being lulled to sleep by the roar of traffic, I was up with the sun and ready to head further north. The Sydney Toll roads make the whole place disappear and Newcastle was in sight. I stopped as I could on the way targeting about 10 caches for the day. My plan to stay at Port Macquarie was stymied by the flooding, so I ended up at Waughope. The road past Taree showed no signs of being wet or damaged, so just a speed limit to show for all the drama.
I was a but vertically challenged, but with a few items from the car it was out and being signed. It even went back with a variation of the tool.
Thanks.

Had to wait for two trucks refilling before we could act. Worth it to get a smiley TFTC
Oldmorty and I stopped here on our way to Medowie.
We're both tall but needed a few more inches to reach the cache.
Back to the car for a TOTT (an umbrella).
Cache retrieved, log signed and returned. TFTC Steam koala.

Traveling back from Coffs Harbour to Sydney today, made a detour to get a find in a spot near Newcastle I haven't called into before. Just the one find for today, but this was fairly quickly spotted and I was just tall enough to reach it. Everything a bit damp but found a spot in the log amongst some 2014 ones. Thanks Steam koala.
I was heading up the coast and thought I ought to have a look for this cache on the way. Being a Sunday, there was very little traffic and the place was essentially deserted. I stopped the car nearby and took a short stroll to what looked like GZ and a likely place to hide a cache.
It didn't take long to spot the container, but it was definitely quite a stretch to get my grubby hands on it. I suspect the vertically challenged might have to make some other plan. Fortunately, I was just able to make the grab and then I had the container in hand.
I found a spot on the log sheet to add my name. Then everything went back as found, and soon I was on my way again.

After falling out of a tree earlier today I decided to utilise my TOTT in order to retrieve this cache.
Found it. No TOTT but managed to grab it. Grabbed TB to send him on his next circuit. TFTC Steam koala.
Came here specifically to leave TB that wants to visit race tracks, this is the best we could do as we are going to more isolated places. Cool find, used ToT (ladder) as we are a bit past the tarzan thing.
Got creative with the smallest and lightest child - he was stoked to be able to make this find
Found 2:23 pm “on our way to Nelson Bay.. stopped in a industrial area to collect another cache.
Partner has been the driver while I jump in out of the car.. occasionally need her help to find them..” - As with the other recent cache finds as I sign the log and return the cache to its hiding spot my partner writes the previous quoted words. This was a secret trip for my birthday gift. My partner is driving with allowing me geocaching along the way. I know we are heading north though. We did one small series of 14 just earlier and she started to froth and growl about food I am not sure of partners commitment as we go but we’ll see. So far so good after I got her that feed at Hungry Jacks on the turn off towards Newcastle, couldn’t find anything more decent earlier than that.
Now at this cache I suspected where abouts but which spot I decided to try the old camera trick and that ended up helping and I had started in a pretty good spot to start looking. Height isn’t too much of a problem so had the cache in hand quite quickly. Signed the log as mentioned and then back to the geovehicle.
Thanks for the cache.
