Spotted by Mes Sb, as so often happens. In town for the Australian ORIENTEERING championships.
Today we set out on a loop, first heading down the highway to Uralla and then returning via the Mihi Trail to reach Armidale late afternoon. We found some great caches along our way and explored Uralla completing caches and an Ad Lab.The Mihi Trail was an unexpected surprise as we really enjoyed the undulating countryside and a number of historic homes and farming buildings. The trail also pointed out a number of interesting features we may well have missed. A variety of hides, all in good condition and all easily found made for a pleasant drive.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache geono..**SKI Pair****
How many Geocachers does it take to find a Geocache 6 people 25 minutes. But easy reallyTFTC
This arvo was drizzling rain so we donned our wet weather gear and headed out for a walk to see if we could find a few more caches. We headed for this trail and this cache was the first we came across. Lucky for us this was a fairly quick find. A group of youths were warming up in the field getting ready for soccer training. And lots of ducks were enjoying the puddles on the walkway. Thank you for this cache.
Wow. Spent an age looking, then moved on. Stopped back for another quick look and got it in less than a minute. Not as devious as I initially thought. Tftc
Poked all around in every nook and cranny and couldn’t find it! Just about to give up when there it was. TFTC
Initially went to the wrong 'structure. Used my walking pole to clear many dead leaves (I wonder what it is like in summer?). Eventually tapped in a niche and heard a hollow sound.

Took about 5 minutes to find! A couple of awkward moments where muggles stared at us not knowing the magic behind it ???
Great hide loved Mr snail

Found! Lid gave it away. A few snails on the container but they looked happy enough TFTC
Two of us had a good look. Mountain of leaf debris and lots of bugs
Sadly no cache that we could locate
Sadly no cache that we could locate
Properly great, hidden amongst a mountain of debris. Placed back to a more natural sticky location
After spending the morning in Hillgrove, we decided to try and finish the town caches to fill in the afternoon. Happy to say this was a nice quick find TFTC
Replaced the log and bag. Finders regularly replace the cache in a different spot to the original hide.. for the time being we've left it there.
We didn’t stick around looking around this GZ, but sometimes it’s just plain to see...Stick to the plan

Stopped for supplies nearby, so had time for the closest caches...

Found tyftc trying to catch whitey wiskas to 1500 finds before end of the year.
We had a great day caching along the bike track. GeoPa (jasmr) with the geograndkids DandCEWR and DandCTPR rode our bikes with FurstyFerret. Geono did a great job setting up all these caches - thanks!

Until we get a chance to replace the log, please try to sign anywhere there's a space.
We found this while there were soccer games on & there was lots of goals. Then we threw sticks in the creek. TFTC.
It was fun here - we watched some football & threw sticks in the creek. TFTC.
Thankfully a quick find on a bitterly cold afternoon with the geokids. Still, it beats the shopping we were just doing. TFTC! Log is full, BTW
Have 10 foot-the-ballers in the cells. Things got out of hand at the last match. I’m going to have to talk to Vetinari about getting it moved out of the city.
It seems there’s been a heist at the museum and we need to find a detective to put us on the scent. This cache provides that detective so, after a delicious brekky at Seesaw we headed straight here to find him. Thanks for the cache
Lovely little find! And an awesome trackable find. Decided to leave trackable in place. Cheers!
Whilst in Armidale for a couple of days and decided to do some geocaching. Stopped nearby and soon had cache in hand.

#2 on this crisp evening wander. I suspect this could be even trickier in daylight. Thanks geono.
Yay! Found on new years eve after the fireworks even though it's muggled central no one took any notice, except the police! They thought we looked suspicious and came over to have a look but after we told them what we where doing and converted them from muggles to cachers it was all good, luckily one of them was our uncle! Anyway nice spot TFTC!
Decided to go for a bike ride to work off Christmas lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the cycle along the waterway and we found most of the caches. There was a great variety of hides and we had stay focus to find some of them.

Came back to this cache that I found with magpiecottage back in 2014. Cache not inside its original camo anymore, just sayin'.

A pleasant walk along here. We watched a magpie family hunting for grubs on the ground. Very few muggles about. Did the once around then spotted a likely hide and at a stretch soon had the container. On opening it revealed two logs, the original (not full) and a notebook sheet with a few names on it. On putting the lid back on the container we noticed that the pen is too long for it and was preventing it from closing properly. We didn't have a shorter one with us we could swap. Thanks geono
Day 2 of the trip the Geo-Muster mega next week-end. I am travelling south from Toowoomba with my Caro.
Today, Caro wanted to find 25 different D/T combination for a challenge cache in Brisbane. I have already completed the challenge but was happy to go along as I was going to spend today caching around the greater Armidale area anyway. [^]
Fast approaching 20 finds.
A short search for his cache before Caro found it.
Thanks for the cache.

Caching in Armidale and surrounds today with Brother Colin, looking for a wide range of Difficulty and Terrain ratings for a challenge I wish to qualify for in Brisbane. Wandered past a fella sleeping in the sun... watched to make sure all was well in his world - it was - and we continued and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for this, geono.
Doing a bit of a round trip from Lake Macquarie to Tamworth and Armidale and surrounds, Walcha, Gloucester. and back home. Had an unexpected quick find, thinking this was the same set up as Chicken Little. TFTC geono.
