A final cache as we met up with our ride here.
No problems finding it, but opening it wasn't going to happen without the help of some tools, which fortunately we had in the car.
Thanks for putting this here

Nice quick find here , but getting into the container was a little bit slower as it was almost rusted shut.
Signed log and replaced as found.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley

Having seen the DNF's on this one and then the Found Log, we decided it was worth giving it a go. We moved out further and further from GZ and sticking with the hint, the cache was soon located. TFTC

Well hidden if it is still here (checked in Oct) I think I turned over enough "ground cover". So, well hidden
In Napier for the day with Squirrel Nutcase, Philip.Perry and Gap of Fap and Gap. We looked for about 20mins for this one around all the trees and under the overgrown area to no avail.
Due to the MEGA postponement - DavidsonClan and I struggled to put together a weekend plan. The path of least resistance lead to a Squirrelnutcase & Fap'N'Gap adventure in Napier. My Alarm went off at 2:30am and caching started just before sunrise. We had an excellent day but due to a few DNF's - we'll be back. A big Thank You to the CO's for the virtual tour of your city.
I can't quite reconcile why we couldn't find this one given there are 4 of us searching. Never the less, we'll be back. Cheers for checking MorganEd & TFTC

With (Mr) Davidson Clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and Philip.Perry. This line up was stitched together last night, just in time for our 4AM departure from Rotorua… We have planned another blitz of Napier caches. This should seriously tidy our geomap…
We were disappointed with this hide… The ambiguous hint resulted in lots of searching and needless trampling - We don’t even know if there is a cache here…

New cache in place very overgrown since i was here last new hint available also bring a fishing rod my hubbies fav spot
Spent a long time hunting with no success, very overgrown. Off for a swim now at least!
A lovely spot but which tree? I searched all with 10m radius of GZ without luck. Under trees like this the gps signal bounces around so a more useful hint would help.
Visiting Hawkes Bay for the weekend as Mrs Rubbishparty is playing a Beethoven concert at Lindisfarne tomorrow. Lots of spare time to geocache. Found these ones while biking which combines two great activities. Great cycle/walking path. TFTC
We were nearby so decided to come and check out Tutaekuri. Searched around the bases of several likely trees before locating the cache by standing on it - not as close to the tree base as we were expecting. TFTC
On the way back home, enjoying the bike ride (to Puketapu, lunch there and now home) it was great to have some reasons to stop! Yeah, I could also do with a cup of tea now
Weather is not the best today.
All good and dry here, swapped a pineapple for a fairy and some other things I was happy to put into a nice size cache finally.

Another work trip to Gisborne and another opportunity to cache on the way, although there are not many caches left on the main route anymore.
Another short detour of the highway to search for this cache. No problems locating it this morning. Swapped trackables. TFTC

Got it. Think it needs maintenance. Log quite wet, flax gone and container broken. Still managed to log tho-easy find. Tftc
Visited this location before to take some photographs. Very original container. Log did get wet though. We dried it as well as we could. TFTC
Nice easy hide didn't have a pen to sign the log as I was enjoying the bike path out to Puketapu with Fireworm who had found this cache previously TFTC
A easy find, the flax was pretty much dead, log was a bit damp but ok to write on.
cache back in action was a shame to see some bugga has attacked the area for the flax probably for weaving and left the area quite sad looking
TFTC. Found on the way home with a friend as I we geared up for quiz night at the Puketapu. Sadly, no geocaching quiz questions
Hired some bikes whilst on holiday in the area and biked out to Puketapu. Found this cache on our way back - tftc and a good excuse to stop.
Nice to see a family friendly little stash. Very chilly here in the wind today. TFTC
Down here for a couple of days with our local rep introducing him to a number of new customers he will be dealing with over the next little while. Monday it was Wanganui, yesterday it was Palmerston North, today it will be Hastings and Napier, so with such big days I need to collect caches while I can before heading home this afternoon.
Headed out here on the way into work to meet the Rep, nice and quiet without any muggles wondering what I was doing parked on the side of the road
Thanks for the placement

Beautiful spot. If you walk in just a bit further there is the most stunning view in the trees. TFTC a nice easy find in a lively spot
I love this bike track from taradale to puketapu, and this little stretch through the trees is really nice. Always knowing there's a cold beer at the half way mark makes it even better. Great spot for a cache, thanks.
Found the replacement cache ...... a lot bigger than we thought it would be and was lying completely out in the open we could see it as we drove up. Have hidden between ground cover so not so easily spotted. TFTC
I found this cache with my Mum (sunnybunny64) earlier in the year but have only just got my own geocaching account. I’m hoping you won’t mind me back dating this find so that I can log all the ones I have actually found in my own account. Jordis – 7yrs
We think we know what camo we r looking for and think we found the spot it should b. The posts and fence have recently been painted wondering if it has gone missing
checked today and yes original had gone missing Is sad when some one messes with your tutae another cache in place but will get another copy of the original made happy caching
Took my sweet time finding it, found it a bit difficult but got there in the end. Tybg
We found it but neither of us wanted to pick it up. But we did. We have not found one of these before. A good hide. TFTC
Unfortunately our knowledge of the Maori language ran to only half of what was required, so it took a wee while to find the cache, assistance coming from a previous log. TFTC
