As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

A poor hide from day one and lack of follow up from the owner = time to go...

I checked the spot and it was not there. It was probably washed away by the tide and I will be replacing it soon.

Sorry about not responding to comments. I'm disabling the cache until I can fix it. Happy Caching!

No response from owner.

Time to go.

Didn't find it - lots of holes behind many rocks...

10-Feb-14
No luck for me either.
Geocache owner should check it out due to the high number of DNFs. Sad

Only had a cursory glance as the area was reasonably busy with muggles. A fair bit of erosion in the area, felt in a few areas but no luck today.

01-Feb-14
No luck this time! Too many holes too many peeps!

20-Jan-14
Didn't find it. Maybe my arm is too short? Seaweed right up to grass due to recent storm, maybe it was washed away...

Too many muggles. Too many rocks. Too many holes.

11-Jan-14
Found it with wife in moo boot and 4 year old grandson looking for pirate treasure!

Snook down to GZ for a quick find. Pretended to be tieing a shoe lace & signed the log Big Grin

Don't think I'm very good at this game. I'm sure I had the right spot but couldn't find anything there.

Great hiding place, lots of muggles but not too busy on this Boxing Day. Enviro-girlnz had to fake a stumble to re-hide it. TFTC

Found with rothesay_bay. Good hiding place! Lots of muggles around so had to be sneaky! Our lil girl provided good cover playing in the sand Smile

We wandered down to the beach after a stressful afternoon Christmas shopping to see if we could knock this one off. Well I of course, started looking in all the wrong places "G" found it practically straight away as usual.

As this is my local beach, I just had to go back and find this rather elusive cache.
I revisited GZ again and this time had another much closer look (feel) where I had already searched. Obviously didn't look (feel) hard enough last time even though I had expanded the search area.
The cache was replaced well out of sight and exactly as found. TFTC.

18-Dec-13
after a couple of attemtps of sticking our hands into places that contained only yucky litter, we gave up

18-Dec-13
didn't find this one either and not sure how to behave "normally" when there are lots of folk around the area - still beginners.

Went out to check on my two Browns Bay caches. Found it very very exposed and easy for a muggle to see, I put it back in it's original place and ask future finders to do the same. I'm not blaming anyone and this could probably of been someone who didn't log in the logbook or on the web.

No luck for me here today. Found a couple of likely spots and reached in as far as my arm would go but nothing. Two DNF's in two days with Zapperbat's recent hides... Not good.

Didn't have much hope for finding this after reading the previous logs but surprised myself my finding it pretty quickly!! Can see why people have been having trouble with it but very happy to claim the FTF on this one Smile thanks!!

Had a thought during night, my GPSr had me out by about 15m for CO's other new cache (at the time I though it was due to the trees and building near by) but just in case I came back here this morning to search a bit further a field. I still didn't have any luck in locating the cache.
Not so many dog walkers out this morning (although it is an hour earlier than yesterday). A lot breezier as well and the tide is in.

Spent 20 minutes this morning searching, but only using phone. Work glide time but it wouldn't glide for any longer.
Came back in afternoon with GPSr and spent 35 minutes, working my way along every hole from about 7m either side of co-ords, but no luck.
There was a group of teenagers sunbathing about 4m away, but thankfully they were to busy with themselves to worry about what a middle aged women was doing. Good thing, as explaining why I was flat on my back with my arm up to armpit between the rocks, could have taken some doing.

No luck for me today. Found the likely spot and reached in as far as my arm would reach but no luck. Broadened my search area but still no luck. Will spend a little while longer as it's such a nice day.
