WunElle

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Previous logs make what and where this one is pretty obvious and even before reading them I'd looked in all the right places. I think its been muggled at last.

Out caching with ziggiau on this beautiful Boxing Day. We made the area around Warragamba dam unsafe and had a great time! All the best for 2018 for all the COs!

Despite my suggestion based on the description, I wasn't allowed to vandalise the telephone cabin. Boooring Smile

Based on my experiences with the Geocaching Australia phone booth series in the Blue Mountains, it was a nice quick find here today. Thanks WunElle.

This cache was out of sight and safe from muggles. Had to get geo hubby to retrieve it as it was not able to be retrieved by geo wife. All was good with the container and the log inside. We made our mark on the page and the container was then put back for the next cacher to locate. Thank you WunElle for reminding us of what is a rapidly disappearing feature of the local landscape.

Found it nice hiding

09-Sep-17
Heading to Penrith for a one day conference, took advantage of overnight accommodation on offer which would also allow time for some cache stops along the way. While I have a hide in a similar structure, this quickly spotted container was a little trickier to retrieve. Driving a company car and without my usual caching kit, had to dig through the boot for something that could assist. Amazing the multiple uses of selfie-sticks though not sure what its purpose in this car was.

I walked around and around it before Gabstar hopped out of the car, rolled her eyes and grabbed it from right in front of me. Oops! TFTC

The geo-gangstas circled GZ and Gabstar and I chuckled from the car as we could plainly see it from our position. When the looked cranky Gabstar hopped out and grabbed it before their eyes. TFTC

05 September 2016 08:47:54 OK I hate cut and paste logs so will try my best to add a little something different to each log I post. Code 1 and myself were out on our annual caching run weekend. So some of our logs read both names but to save room on micros and nano’s etc we used CJ1. Like most of our past trips a little homework was needed to work out a suitable location, route and to build lists and PQs, with this done and set we found our self’s in the Camden location. A great range of finds and styles were located with a great deal of questioning over some of the posted difficulties and terrains.
JABs.

Found on a weekend invasion of my old romping ground with JAB's.
It's crazy to see how much the area I grew up in has changed over the years.
You don't see many of these about anymore.

My son found it last week and we came back tonight to log it but it seems the mint tint the previous person has put it in is now missing. We will try again soon hope it returns.

26-Dec-15
Found at 10:56am with Nush89.

Today was a big day of caching after a great Xmas day with the family yesterday. What better thing to do on Boxing Day than rack up a mad amount of caches, you may be thinking well... cricket? Yes, you may be right and therefore I managed to sneak in a bit of both.

We began the journey in Silverdale where we stayed the night at my parents place, after a couple of finds there we worked our way back home to Ryde and from there I continued the journey without my partner in crime Nush89, who was keen to chill out at home after a tiring day yesterday.

Over the day I found 11 caches with a 100% find rate, it's always good avoiding DNF's, they certainly can eat into your time when caching.

'Ring Ring' was our first find for the day and a relatively straightforward one to kick things off. We parked over the road and headed over to the payphone where we both gave the nod straight away and signed the log on the little bench (quite handy).

A nice piece of history attached to this cache, good job WunElle, thanks for the cache

Got easy one.

01-Nov-15
After attending The Booos' The Dam Meeting event there was time to tackle the few remaining caches unfound in the surrounding area. A fruitless stop at The Dam Production cache - more in that log - and it was over to Silverdale Road.

For a team it was a fair bet that the first in would be first served (or would find the cache) - as was the case for Ring Ring ... bisygisy was the closer and claimed the find. TFTC Smile

The geo-widow was having a girlie day in Penrith with her best friend today, so I came along for the ride and took the opportunity to do a caching run to Mulga and Warragamba. This was one of the quickest finds of the day thanks to the hint. Thanks for the cache WunElle.

#1882 (21 of 25 today)

Well, it's the shortest day of the year. And I've been cooped up indoors for a lot of the previous four days. And it's been raining steadily the whole time. So what better antidote to both than to try to find the most caches I've managed to grab in a day - before the sunset ends.
The best target for this attempt is Mulgoa / Warragamba / Silverdale - the haunt of The Boos.
In the end, I succeeded with 25 finds (how people find a lot more than this in a day without a power trail or a Mega Event baffles me).
But I'm happy with the finds - the final as the last embers were fading from the clouds on the western horizon.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Nice quick find here - first place I looked. Made up for the previous DNF.

How does this remain unmuggled? Oblivious local muggles apparently.
Took away to compete signing duties and then back for the replace.
