found it a month ago, but alas no pen. came back today to spend afternoon at the beach, and signed log. kids were excited too see that there were 3 signatures already from the same day, so they decided to sit and wait to see if anyone else came along. they lost interest after 10 mins!
Nice walk along to the point with what seemed like half of Mooloolaba. Digital camera almost full of snap photos as our only subterfuge for this cache. In the end an easy find. Cache was in plain veiw so have tucked it back a little. TFTC
Found @ 4.05 pm
A nice find on a short break from Melbourne
We have done the old cache here about 5 years ago
Thanks for this cache

Nice new log to sign. Great excuse to come along here for a different view of Mooloolaba. TFTC.
Looked in a spot which ticked all the boxes, including the signature rock! However the cache was not there. We looked around some more but no cache in sight!
Great spot ....
thanks for bringing us here..... some beautiful sail boats just passing by. Tftc and greetings from new zealand

Out and about with Brother Colin and doscrapbooking on the Sunshine Coast for a crazy day of caching We have a specific list planned with several targets between Sippy Downs and Mount Coolum, including a letterbox, Earthcaches, puzzles, some oldies and a night cache, and are hoping not to get "bogged down" with all the other caches in those areas
Yesterday I'd spent a lot of time clambering over rocks looking for caches with teamdfl, so I was dismayed when I saw GZ here But I was very pleased that the co-ords were spot on, and the hint very precise, which made this one a quick find. Phew! TFTC, The X-Trailers.

Today I was out and about with doscrapbooking and IolantheK.
We had a big day planned with a few puzzles, Earthcaches, a letter box, a nightcache and one or two 'old' caches on our hit list.
And there is all of those traditionals scattered in between. [^]
We parked the car and went for lunch first.
We made our way out to this an groaned when we saw GZ... but we found it in the firs place we looked.
Thanks for the cache.

Down at the Spit for sunset fish & chips - beautiful views today with nice rolling waves breaking gently on the beach. Went for the compulsory stroll along the rock wall to the lead lights at the river mouth to work off the chips and on the way back paused at the fish cleaning table.
We'd found the old version which was a bit tricky as the seats are often occupied. This time, it was dark now and we just had to wait for the hoards of muggles to pass and fisherman to clamber away over the rocks. J found it behind a suspicious collection of rocks before I could even get my phone torch on. Signed in the dark, hopefully on a clear spot. Now off to catchup with the kids who had not noticed that we'd stopped....
A few trackables visiting this beautiful area. This side does seem a bit safer.

Enjoyed a bit of a break here, to watch the passing craft, fishing boats, kayaks etc. Lots of little fish in the water. Thanks The X-Trailers for the cache
Found in the dark by feel as left torch at home.
Sorry if log not very neat.
Took trackables to visit.
Have many happy memories walking this area on previous trips to sunshine coast.

Haven't been down this neck of the woods for ages. Still plenty of muggles, even on an overcast day. Quickly spotted, grabbed and signed but took a while to get a break in the muggle traffic to replace unseen. Thanks The X-Trailers
Out for a walk with holster and thehairbear and a short stop on the way to the lighthouse. It was an easy find as it was uncovered.
After signing the log we replaced it and covered it better than what we found.

We had found the previous cache placed near here so were looking forward to going back to this area. Once at GZ we sat down on the path and were able to extract the cache from its hiding place without being seen by the many muggles in the area. TNLNSL TFTC.
Found on our sunny coast holiday. Easy to find in a very nice but popular spot. TFTC
I must have, once again, chosen to go caching on the 'Day of the Muggle'! This one was a very hard grab due to the number of ppl around. Though, that challenge made it even more rewarding. Cache is in great order. TFTC TNLNSL

We were here over a year ago and spent a long time looking with no luck. Found on seconds this time. Thanks for the cache. Beautiful day at the beach for New Year's Day. Happy New Year.
Out for a run today and picked up this cache on the way. I didn't have a pen, do the log is unsigned..
Found with 4 travellingbuds and Hamish heroes, quick easy find, as spotted the sign. TFTC , TNLNSL
Up on the Sunshine Coast for the weekend to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary we made our way along the coast towards Mooloolaba finding caches along the way.

Took a bit to get the log out! Forgot my extraction tool. Then along comes my friend Bushbashr! Tftc! Fwf!
This was fun.
Had a discussion with local fisherman and I just had to bide my time until the coast was clear.
Sat down amongst the rocks and waited
Fishermen busy with backs to me. Check.
Joggers ran past. check.
Coast clear. check [^]
Snaffled cache and hid behind hand and arm and able to empty log out and sign turning away.
Replaced log and returned cache to GZ and stood up to depart. Fishermen were finishing up too as fish not biting even though we spotted a small stingray in the shallows.
Even the police patrol boat passing gave us a wave. [^]

Arrived at GZ without too many muggles about. Spotted a likely hide and grabbed the cache when an opening presented itself. TFTC! A wonderful to hide a cache.

1900hrs. After a very nice dinner of fish and chips on the beach I remembered a new cache not far away. After a short walk down the beach we were at the old GZ. While the better half was getting her phone app working I went to for a quick look. Came back with the cache. All good and well hidden. Was a great spot to sit on the seat and look at all the smoke from the bush fire off Kawana Way. Hope everyone will be ok. TFTCSL
What a gorgeous day to be out and about in this part of the world collecting a few caches! Sun shining, the waves gently rolling along the shore, good company and the hope of a smiley. Lady membsec and myself had just enjoyed a spot of lunch with dahumbug at a close by yummy fish and chip shop, now it was time to get to business and find a cache.
As we approached GZ there was quite a few muggles making the most of the day also, but luckily they all had some place to be and we could retrieve the cache in between them coming and going. A nice easy find with that cute little rock to help guide us. After signing the log I made sure to replace the cache exactly as we had found it.

What a way to spend a beautiful day, caching with friends. After having some yummy lunch at a nearby fish and chip place with Nyssaflutterby and dahumbug we strolled along the foreshore really wanting to venture into the beautiful blue water, but no we had a job to do and that was to find this cache. We can remember pick up another cache here previously.

A nice easy and quick for Nyssa, I was still looking at the distance when she pulled it out of its hidey hole. After signing the log Nyssa made sure to replace the cache exactly as we had found it.

I was a beautiful sunny morning so why not forget about work for a few minutes and go and get a new cache.
Well the spit was a hive of activity this morning, runners, walkers, doggies it had everything. As I approached GZ there was an old guy just siting there looking out over towards Mick's favorite place.
I scanned my eye over GZ and quickly spotted a nice little greeting. I waited until the coast was clear and went in for a closer look............BINGO!!
I had the little sucker in hand, I placed it in my pocket and wandered over to another seat and signed the log. then I went back over to re hide the cache. The the worst think could have happened. While placing the cache back into it's hide, I pushed it too far in and it fell into the "Blackhole" and that cache will never been seen again. [xx(][xx(]
But, I did the only noble thing a cacher should do and contacted the CO to inform them of what I did.
A little time later The X-Trailers contacted me and all is forgiven.
TFTC The X- Trailers and sorry for loosing the first container.

FTF 1/12/13 @1830
Saw this one come through late, but suddenly thought it was a good idea to have fish n chips for dinner. So I threw the daughter and the dog in the car and off we went. Once we got to the carpark, off we ran to the rock wall, stopping every 5 minutes while the dog had to stop and sniff everything " c'mon dog, it s a FTF".
A good thing, there was no one about once we got to the seating area, and started the hunt. I did think I would be looking for this one in the rocks for a while, but I spied something different...and there was a clean Logsheet.
Thanks for the cache, X-Trailers. Hopefully this cache survives for you. I can see how it's a tricky one.
