I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.

Day 3's target was a trip to Frying Pan. The trip was great and the caches along the way and there lots of fun. I was very disappointed at just how many people were camping in a spot like this, I cannot see how it could be enjoyed. The afternoon was finished in Maitland with the Walka Lake Adventure Lab, a fun diversion.

New to caching (2 months in) but couldn’t find this one

We took a little detour off the highway to pick up a few caches on our route further south, while travelling with ilook4geo. This was a nice easy find and the log soon had two more names noted on it. All was then replaced as it had been found. Just after getting back into our car a muggle worker drove up and parked right next to GZ! That was close. We were soon on our way again. Thank you to GPHE for putting thhis cache into play.

Came along here with goingplaces2 and made an easy find. Cache found, log signed, job done!
All put back and we were on the road again. TFTC.

Headed to the Maitland area with fitzy_1965 & SpecimenX for an extra long weekend of caching.

Day 1 saw us caching in the general area after setting up camp.

All caches where found quickly and easily.

18,781. Found with minniek and specimenX during the Canberra Invasion of Maitland region over the long weekend.

After driving up this morning and setting up camp we finally got out caching. This was the next find of the weekend (out of an eventual 376 for me !! - woo hoo) and it was a nice quick find. We just loved driving around the green farmland.

TKFC nice quick find!

We decided to head to Maitland for an overnight stay, left the caravan behind & booked into a local hotel.
We spent the whole day caching in the area, this proved quiet a good way to do some sightseeing.
Many great caches were found, some very tricky, in some wonderful locations.

Nice little hiding spot, could use a new log

As part of a shortened Easter caching weekend, steeba and the Rats headed north to be part of the Geomuster mega weekend around the Lake Macquarie area. Traveling as far north as Frying Pan ck and down south to Doyalson we managed to find a good splattering of caches, including a new personal record of most types in a day.

Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches, the interesteing locations and cache containers contributed to our great weekend.
