Interesting hide. Pity the log was v.Wet and growing funky stuff in the container. Thanks for the placement Tomo134.
Found! Still needs some maintenance - bring some paper if you on your way to replace log
Cache is black with mound, un singable and unreadable. Urgent maintenance required
Another log of soggy conditions....A great little cache that i found while out and about.....Thanks anyway for the cache but def needs maintenance.....
Catching up of logs here slowly

This afternoon the sun came out in the end so me and Celliot went out fore some quick caches in the Ringwood area. All of them found quickly at nice spots. Thanks to all the CO's for hiding the caches!
After having no success at the nearby cache in this series, decided to try my luck here. This one was a quick find once gz was located. As others have noted, log is damp and full. Will try and return with a replacement log next week. Tftc
My GPS was not cooperating under the trees, so it took a little while to find. Once I was right in the right area, I quickly found it - the nicely camo-ed cache sticks out like a sore thumb...
I was half expecting a different form of camo here (the type that falls from the trees above) which would have made this a little more difficult...
Thanks for the cache.

The GPS was very bouncy under these big trees. But it was a quick find once it got me close enough.
What a beautiful hidden glade!!
Thanks for bringing me here Tomo134

Our gps units x2 wouldn't settle. We spent quite a bit of time here. Twice, my unit took me 18m from where it usually directed us. Will put on watch list.
My first cache in Australia - yay! Thanks for the fun along this walk. And boy did I need a walk after that looooong flight from Seattle.
Found at 08:58
I had some free time this morning so decided to come for a cache or three. This one was found quickly after dodging a couple of dog walking muggles. The log was a bit damp but i managed to make my mark.
Thanks Tomo134 for the nicely camo'd cache.

Out caching with floppyandjoe. Found this cache quite easily. Loved the container. Thanks. Silkyie.
Out to enjoy some fresh air after all the rain and picked up this cache along the way. Container and log very wet, so dried it out as much as we could before signing and continuing on our way.
This was really fun but the gps was a bit hinky and took a while to find but was really easy when we found it. Enjoy a nice walk along the Mullum. 7 geo kids 2 adults and 1 crazy dog. Have fun amongst the pine cones.
The GPS wasn't liking the trees at this one. I was well away when the Moose made the find. Thanks for the hide, this is a very pretty bike track.
While waiting for our new acquisition at Car City, we decided to kill time with a cache or two. This series being the closest we headed around and found a park as close as we could before heading along the pathway to the caches. Unfortunately we missed the first one as there were workers trimming some trees but found this one easy without muggles prying at our search. Thanks for the hide Tomo134.
After being muggled out of a nearby cache, I wandered down to this one. What a beautiful little area this is. Even though the sun was beating down, I had plenty of shade and a nice cool breeze. A short search and the clever hide was found. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC Tomo134
Dropped the car out for its first service, and walked around to this park while I was waiting.
Checked out a couple of caches and nearly made it back to the dealership before it pissed down, but not quite!
The cache in between seems to be still missing, so I walked to this one.
Not sure why the cache is listed as other, but it was a nice though easy find.
I was still dry at this stage
Thanks, Robmc.

I found the tube from the water one. I have it and live local. Let me know and I can drop it to you.
Another nice hide found with Jimmytherat on a perfect caching day. TFTC Tomo!
Don't know about typical but fun.
Don't know about typical but fun.
TFTC Tomo134. The Mullum Mullum creek is delightful today. A real delight to find another of your caches on a sunny morning. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
TFTC easily found and I was happy about that after a couple of DNF along this creek trail. Lovely place.
Moving the car further along the trail we parked and made the short walk to GZ.
After a short search the cache was found.

This one had nanton34, whyt knight and I searching for a little while but got there in the end. totally typical, tftc
Another one along the mullum mullum creek we spread wide to find this one with whyt knight locating the hide TFTC
Out for our regular walk on an average spring day. Quick easy find. This time the GPS was spot on and the cache was obvious. TFTC, and bringing us to this lovely spot.
Tftc nice hide found with geopartner and some friends. Didnt have s pen do have taken pic if needed
After attending the event in Eltham this morning and then dropping off Fleabag-'s kids we headed out for a few hours today for a few that neither of us had found.
As we were walking towards this Fleabag- mentioned "why don't you go in there" laughingly. I thought, "why not" since my GPS was pointing that way. (Not sure where his was pointing!)
I then spotted something out of place for the area and there was the cache.
Thanks Tomo134 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

After attending a caching event in Eltham this morning, Spiffy- and I headed out for a day caching. Short stroll to GZ and after a brief search we had the cache. Thanks Tomo134 for the cache.
Here is what I have learnt about winter: as much as I try to rug up in front of the heater at home, I am never as warm there as I am when out walking. Having spent all morning trying to get warm and trying to write a speech for Sunday, I decided to go out and collect some local geocaches and meditate on the similarities between people and geocaches
Tomo134 has put out a great series of caches around Ringwood, and I've been meaning to look for them for sometime, and today was the day! I parked in Jeffrey Drive, then walked along the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail to Croydon, then back through the streets and parks to the car. It was a lovely walk, seeing different coloured camellias, wattle boughs laden with bursting buds or blossoms, buttercups, and all the plants in the winter light.
Anyway, this was the first of nine caches I found this afternoon. A fairly easy find, but still nicely hidden. Thanks for the cache, Tomo134!

Another quick find on the way back to the car. A fairly likely GZ combined with a traditional hide made this a nice quick find. Thankful, given the exposed location and prevalence of muggles.

Didn't take too long to pick up this one on a walk by, although the gps wasn't much help at all. Thanks for the cache.
These are the times that I'm glad I cache with Hera. She spotted it straight away, while I'm sure I would have been looking all over for something else. Nice hide, thanks Tomo134.
After DNFing a nearby cache we needed to add a smiley to our daily haul. We distracted the 4 yo with races, pinecone hunting, throwing things in the creek etc but I still ended up piggy-backing him part of the way! I really enjoy finding disguised caches. Thanks tomo134
After visiting the Dandenong ranges, stopped by this cache because I needed its cache type for a challenge cache I have been working on.
Upon arrival, I scoped the surrounding area for potential hides. As I walked around, spotted the very well camouflaged container made to blend into surroundings. Good job!

Gps had me wandering around a bit until i noticed something odd. Good hide. TFTC
Sneaky hide , found on a bike ride this morning , gps played up in the tall trees, but cache foubd so all good .
My gps was off quite a bit on this one! Had to re read some logs to get ideas! Really wanted to get this !!! Thanks for the great find!
Found it, another grab on my cache stroll with Morcs4, this one was fairly straight forward. Onwards we go, few more to get tonight...TFTC
Finally filled in the 31st of the 12th on my calendar. This was easier than the previous two. 3rd time lucky. Thanks.
Typical idea, however slightly different to what I have seen before. Glad to see film canisters still getting about. TFTC!!!
After 2 oreviousr attempts ar this one today finally brought success. Like others the first time I came here my compsss swung wildly and was simply to vast to narrow down gz. 2nd attempt drove to area to park and wandered in, compass a bit better but still swung a bit and it was getting dark so headed home.
Today compass still a little all over so took a few attempts to narrow down gz. Was starting to wonder if I had it all wrong and thought I'd try one more time. Read some of the logs where they said it was unusual and then spotted the 'unusual' object. So amazing that an object can be so obvious yet also so hidden. Tftc tomo. Have loved your typical series. All so different and fun.

Nice sunny day and not too hot so time for a bike ride and a bit of treasure hunting!
Few minutes hunting and then I noticed something "unusual" and geoson aged 7 soon had cache in hand. A few minutes later he was screaming....think he put his hand on a spitfire.

Last in this series for me. Again accurate co-ords took me straight to GZ. Quick find as I had seen this before. Thanks Tomo134
I decided to do this series as I came upon them rather than in order. This was the first. The GPS did not like the area. Eventually I decided to just rely on my geo-sense which proved fruitful within a couple of minutes. A great 'typical' hide. TFTC.
Yep, "Totally Typical" would be a good way to describe my hunt...arrived close to GZ but my GPS wouldn't settle down. Every time it indicated that GZ was a few metres away and I went there, it would indicate that it was a few metres away in a different direction. Round and round I went several times, never quite managing to localise where GZ was...nothing for it but start a general hunt. Eventually "the penny dropped" and I looked in that rather obvious location and there it was...the cache. I must walked past it half a dozen times. As I said "Totally Typical".
Thanks Tomo134 for a clever cache...I will have to come back for the rest another day as it started raining...also Totally Typical...

#476 @ 1230. Had a few hours to spare. Has been a while since I managed to get out and find a cache. Good hide in nice area. Log us damp and hard to write on. TFTC SL

Muggle free peaceful afternoon. Visiting from Geelong with an errand in ringwood and hockey in kew. Quick find, clever hide. Log in good condition just a little damp. Tftc and series.
We set off today to find a handful of caches in this area.
Took a little while to find this mainly because of a few muggles, but after they left I saw something interesting and in no time was able to sign the slightly damp log. TFTC Tomo134

Found @ 8:46pm, find # 3368.
Out and about on this Friday night with Biggles1024, this time to Ringwood and beyond.
We started at this little group of caches, parking just off Oban road and walking along the trail.
We arrived at this one and started to look around, it wasn't too long before Mark had located the nicely hidden cache.
Thanks to Tomo134 for placing this cache.

Find #1318
Another Friday night of caching with Stemicmitsar. We headed to Ringwood for some suburban caching in order to take a break from the bush caching we had pursued over the past few weeks.
Again, my GPS didn't like this location so I stopped to let it settle and took the opportunity to blow my nose. After pocketing my handkerchief I took two steps, shone my torch on the ground and saw something that was worthy of investigating. It was the hide. Nicely implemented.

Well, it may be typical, but typical of a clever hide.
Thanks Tomo134 - Good hide - Enjoyed the walk to all three caches.

A nice hide that i overlooked a few times before nearly giving up and testing it out. Cheers for the cache.
With the heavy clouds the GPS was jumping about, but I was able to spot something a little out of place. As it turned, it was thisa well constructed hide. Thanks for the cache.
After sitting for 3 hours having tests done nothing better to clear head than go caching. Wouldn't say totally typical but gr8 camo tftc
