It's not boring at the Bore2.5/1.5 Regular Traditional Cache Terrific day with Bug and Co targeting Stuart's Pass to complete my 12th Loop! Went to Glen Helen Gorge as well, even though I've already done the cache there, but it was closed due to wildfires. Also learnt from American adventurers that Redbank Gorge had a closed sign too. We went as far as Mt Sonder Lookout to check out Mt Zeil for future adventure but no info was found, then back and tried Ormiston Gorge. Visited Serpentine Dam and Gorge and the Lookout while in the area and planted new caches.Thank you for the cache griffs90. This was our first stop. Quick find. Glad this one has off road attributes, needing some to qualify for a challenge cache.
Found with E Smiley while we took the Jiminy for a little drive to Hugh GorgeReally cool spot.Cheers
A lull in my workload meant we could head out to see some sights today. With a desirable (to us) D/T geocache along this track, we decided to head all the way to Birthday Waterhole and work our way back to the bitumen road picking up caches as we went.

Travelling with iluvtrekking from Perth to Darwin along the west coast and back through the Centre and the Nullabor picking up caches along our route. After visiting Standley Chasm we decided to do some 4x4 caches. Quite a bumpy road but we love this type of caching. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin along the west coast and back through the centre and the Nullarbor picking up caches along our route. A Fantastic 4WD drive up the river to pick up this little group of caches. GZ has been burnt, and the cache container fire damaged, so we replaced it and it's all good to go once more. Thanks griffs90.
Argh my first dnf for a little while and I didn't think it would be this one.
There was a lot of sand around from the floods not sure if that's why we didn't find it

Found it. Visited this caches in a sunday evening and night with a car in a short trip to australia. I'VE FORGOTTEN A PEN TO SIGN THE LOGS . Greetings from Brasov, Romania
What a great bit of history here. Took a few minutes and had to resort to getting the GPS out of the car.
@Davidwazza and I travelled to the Northern Territory from Adelaide for a 2.5 weeks road trip holiday in the infamous black jeep. We took a route through Port Augusta, Woomera, Roxby Downs, Andamooka, and then drove the Oodnadatta Track via Coward Springs, William Creek (including a Lake Eyre scenic flight), Oodnadatta, and Marla. It was then onwards to visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuṯa (Olgas), Kings Canyon, and then drove the Red Centre Way aka. Mereenie Loop Road to see the Tjoritja (West MacDonell Ranges), calling in to see the various highlights. We then stayed a few nights in Alice Springs, and included a day trip to see the East MacDonell Ranges, before heading home in a more direct route through Palm Valley, Owen Springs Reserve, Henbury Craters, and the Lambert Centre of Australia, and finally Coober Pedy.
Today, we set off from Glen Helen Gorge, exploring the West MacDonells as we made our way to Alice Springs.

We are travelling from Adelaide on a 4wd trip to Alice Springs. We have enjoyed the 4wd tracks in the NT. Couldnt locate this using my phone as the gps was bouncing all over the place. Got the garmin out and still no cache at GZ. The hint didnt help here. Finally found it about 10m from GZ.
We found this one, which wasn’t boring at all! Quickly signed and replaced. Thanks for placing the cache griffs90.
We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing
As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you griffs90 for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Flew up to Alice Springs for a conference, then met up with e.gregory1 for an epic road trip through the West MacDonnell Ranges, Mereenie Loop Rd, Kings Canyon, Luritja Rd, Ernest Giles Rd, Finke Gorge NP, Hermannsberg, Larapinta Drive, back to the Alice then down the Stuart Hwy to Adelaide, with awesome sights and great caches along the way. Thanks for the cache griffs90!
After spending four days travelling up on my own from Adelaide, I met up with FeatherWaite in Alice Springs for a few days of travelling around and caching.
We visited various places in the West Macdonnells, including Hugh Gorge, then went out to Kings Canyon, up the Finke Gorge track to Hermannsburg, into Palm Valley, then back to Adelaide, taking a week in all. We saw, and camped in some fantastic places, although the late September weather was a little warm!
We travelled into Birthday Waterhole to camp for the night before visiting Hugh Gorge the next day, then grabbed this cache on our way back out.
Thanks griffs90 for the cache.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 8. I spent the day around Alice Springs collecting some caches we did not get to last year. I found some very rough roads along the way.
This was a very bumpy road and not being able to locate this one I abandoned the run further in.
Thanks.

WHOOPS! I'm logging about 100-200 or so caches like 3 months after the trip that we found them on! Completely forgot to log these but I did not forget the trip! Found this cache along with many others on an adventure around the red centre. Along this adventure we visited and explored many phenomenal and surreal places such as Woomera, Coober Pedy, Uluru and Mutitjulu, Kata Tjuta, Wattarka, Tnorala, Both East and West Macdonnell ranges, Arltunga, Ruby Gap, Palm Valley, Parts of the Finke road, Boggy Hole, Rainbow Valley, Old Ghan Route, Chambers Pillar, Oodnadatta track, Mount Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Painted Desert, Moon plane and I'm sure I've missed a few! Thank you so much for the cache. Found with Ferociousflea and -Beaker- along with our mint 79 series that accomplished alot in this two week time frame.

Today we explored the West MacDonnell National Park using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. We engaged four wheel drive and headed in on the scenic trek. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hunted high and low for this one but turned out to be 1 of 2 DNFs for us today on a wonderful day.
Wow, what a fabulous day today. Pa spoilt me rotten by driving me around the 427 km loop from Alice to Glen Helen to Goss Bluff and back via Hermansburg. It was a long day - over 11 hours, but we were both very relaxed and took our time, especially at gorges and lookouts.
The scenery was mind blowing, the company exemplary and the food at both Glen Helen and Hermansburg was to die for. Pa wanted to see Goss Bluff and I wanted to grab as many caches as I could. Earth and Puzzle caches were my priority and they didn't let me down. Only had 2 DNFs during the day and they were both traditional caches.
A special thanks to the COs of the puzzle/mystery caches. I love those that I can work out by myself and learning from others at the Red Centre Experience how to solve those that I have never encountered before.
Thanks for placing these caches for us to find.

Today's little adventure was to explore the Hugh River to the north of Namatjira Drive
No chance of being bored out here !!
A bumpy drive later,
and there were all the hallmarks of a watering place for cattle.
It's been a while since that windmill pumped water !! [:o]
But with the cattle gone,
the area looks at its best,
and the river doesn't stink of cow poo !!
Which means less flies too !! [^]
The 'new' cache was soon found.

Out on day 3 of the Mega at the tourist spots with Karicka and picking up a few caches to boot.
After a long string of DNF's replaced this one as per the description within 3m of the listed coordinates on the way back from the Mac Ranges.
Hope some others will now be able to log it.

We had the co-ords for this one but no info. We enjoyed the drive out to the GZ (including the water crossings!) but couldn't find a cache at the location. Now that we're back in Internet range we see that this one hasn't been found for a while. TFTH
Called in here on the way in this morning and now on the way out both times we could not locate any structure or tree log at the posted GZ we checked other structures more than 10 meters from GZ and found nothing. we did locate what looked like pieces of concrete that used to hold down some sort of metal structure made of 4" pipe but now the structure is missing.
griffs90 - Thanks for the hunt anyway and bringing us out on the Hugh Gorge 4WD Trail to find your other Caches.

Sadly, we could not locate this one after spending quite a while searching in so many different places. We hope this is just a case of cache blindness but perhaps a cache check by the CO could verify whether this cache is still in play or not.
A DNF here.... nothing spoke to us at the coordinates, and we had a search around a good radius. At the end, we needed a better hint to find this one.

Lilousof and Redgremlin on a geocaching tour down-under... Or maybe it's a holiday... Stop four ... The red centre... Mission: anything red, anything rocky and anything wild... All in 4x4. Lovely!
Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this trip memorable.
Thanks for the cache!
[Logged on my return from Australia]
This one was too good for us as we traveled in toward Hugh River today .
There's been some activity here and wonder if it may have been removed with some of the other metalwork [?]. Looked under some other remnants and were startled by a snake which put us off a bit , but still couldn't locate it as we widened the search area [B)].
We'll keep watch and see if others find it.
Thanks for the diversion Griffs90.

It is always good to take side tracks to see the most beautiful parts of australia. Thanks for taking us on this trip! TB-in. Happy travels geoscouts!
After the morning event we met at Flynn's memorial and our small convoy consisting of our chauffeur The Drovers, Baby and Mrs Gopher, farmers 5, mtrax, redcenterdazza, the cache owner and our guide for the day 2Lost_Souls were off for a day of caching and sightseeing of the West MacDonnells.
We enjoyed the remains here although it looks like quite awhile since the windmill has pumped any water into the trough. I think we may have been a bit noisy as we did see much of the bird life. We did however see the logbook in the nicely hidden cache and have all added our names to the log.
Many thanks griffs09

Travelling around Australia, and we are now camped at the showgrounds in Alice Springs.
After the morning event, a convoy was formed for a sight seeing tour of the MacDonnell Ranges.
We saw some spectacular views and places, & '2Lost-Souls' gave us good information of the areas.
With 'baby&Mrs gopher' and 'Team Crackers', we made some extra stops to chase a few caches.
