3rd rally car cache series in a row we couldn't find. Maybe they've all been taken?
Activity says it was found only 20 hrs ago but could not find it myself. Will watch with interest.
TFTC! Had a few spare hours so enlisted the help of Cravo10 and Numbers Man to grab a couple of caches, went to some quite out of the way areas grabbing the odd cache as we caught up on the weeks adventures and mishaps.
Most were quick finds, although we were pretty selective on where we went and what we grabbed.
Cravo and I spent a bit of time debating where our next Thursday geocaching adventure would take us.
Thanks for the hide.

Thought it was going to be tough as so many potential hiding places! Sometimes the obvious is it
Got up as the sun got up today and had a couple of hours to spare so went cache hunting, came out to Lesmurdie Falls, this cache was such a good find, looks so cool when your eyes see this cache were its nestled, so very cool! when we found the container it is missing a pen/biro sorry didn't have a pen small enough to leave there although we did leave a little keyring good nifty cache to find thank you
Going around in circles and Isquba needlessly got his arm shredded. He finally stopped near where the gps zeroed and there it was.

Heading home, enough light left to grab a cache.

Found a couple in this series some time back, so wanted to complete it today. Found this one without problems and made note of the numbers.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew.
This one took a few minutes . But after putting my GPS away I was able to use geosense and soon had my name in the book
JacobsCrew2 - jinta29 found your cache Car Rally 5 on 31/08/2015 6:25 am. This is my find #3699 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Took the long cut but finally zeroed in on the cache that was not where we would have expected it to be. All is well with cache. Rehid and left. TFTC!
This could be difficult but fortunately I saw it as I walked in.
Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache.
Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache.
Boy did this one end up being a challenge with GPS jumping all over the place and spiky bushes to search among. But persistence paid off and the cache was found. Tftc
Out & about in Forrestfield today after dropping Janine off at the airport, the 'boys' had some time to grab a few of the local caches
Pulling up close to this one, i was a little concerned with the powerlines above us . As expected, my 'couple of meters' soon turned into 15m and then 20m and i was pretty quickly unsure of my whole GZ area. After a few minutes however, i managed to spot the sneaky hide a lot closer to the road than i had been initially searching . Feeling a bit fortunate to cross this one off today ... TFTC JacobsCrew2

Out for a cycle in a windy Saturday morning. I stopped to log a quick find here. Thanks JacobsCrew2.
After doing a few nearby caches with Jinta29, he headed off to work and I headed home.
I decided to grab a few on the way home and this was one.
However, even with GPS and iPhone, no joy here. Found what I think is the right bush but couldn't find the cache.
JacobsCrew2 I had to DNF your cache Car Rally 5 on 19/12/2014 6:49 am. I searched but didn't find the cache

Decided to head into Forrestfield this afternoon to see if I could hunt down some DNF's on the list. Managed to tackle four and found three of them.
Took a combination of GPSr in one hand and phone with satellite maps in the other to track down this elusive cache, I think those power-lines wreak havoc with the signals. Glad to cross this one off.

So this time was a way easy find, looking right at us! so glad to get this one off the list. TFTH
I was driving past here this afternoon, and couldn't resist stopping at this one so close to the road. My first find in the Car Rally series, and I noted the code. It wasn't quite the park and grab I had in mind, and my GPS had me going around in circles, but after reading the recent note from the CO I soon had it in hand.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew2!
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew2!
We are having no luck at all finding this cache at all, gps is all over the place which is understandable with the power lines. We looked under every bush within a 10mtr radius. We would appreciate a more detailed hint from CO if that is ok? Would really love to find this cache. Thanks Jacobscrew.
Sorry to say that I have joined the other DNFs. Perhaps a check from the CO is needed.
Unable to find this one.
Found a baby bobtail though, scared the c@#p out of me at first.

In Forrestfield again to track down some caches to keep the streak alive.
Checked all the obvious spots here for no joy. GPSr wouldn't settle.

A back breaking and scratchy search which was ultimately a fail. Not what I needed in my attempt to get Mickeydv back caching.
Think the power lined overhead must interfere with the co-ords we all had trouble getting gps to settle. However they eventually did and we were able to hone in on gz with iluvtrekking. Co-ords looked good in the end. Thanks JacobsCrew.
We set off early with richlink this morning to beat the heat, but there was no hope of that and we found the conditions to be quite challenging at times.
After completing the Cannon Ball Run we moved onto the Car Rally, thanks for your caches JacobsCrew, despite the heat we had fun.

Out on a day of geocaching with the geohubby. I wanted to clear all my DNFS and pick up some of the recent caches that have come out. Not a bad day, we ended up with 18 finds and only 1 DNF.
A DNF here the last time but it still took a bit of searching and the geohubby made the find. I found the Co-ords to be out by 6 metres but other people have said they are spot on. TFTC JacobsCrew

Chwiliwr and I joined up with Mistraluna and Gwiber for a day of caching in Forrestfield.
GZ seemed slightly out here but found it OK.
Thanks JacobsCrew for the cache.

Took a break from the renovations this afternoon to grab a few caches before dark. spotted this one on the GPSr as I was coming back down Lewis Rd so I thought I'd give it a try in the failing light. Co-ords were spot on (like the previous cacher indicated), so I had a quick find too.
Signed the log and grabbed the trackable.

I was out on a day of caching with skippy 46 mainly to pick up JacobsCrew caches and a few other ones close by. I managed to clear up all my previous DNFS. We found 18 today but now i have 6 more DNFS to come back and find another time...
We were disappointed we couldnt find this cache as we spent ages searching and we are now full of scratches plus we now cant do the final......TFTH JacobsCrew

Spent quite awhile searching here and with 3 GPSs we knew where GZ was but the cache wasn't to be found.
We did expand the search a little but going on other caches today and how far GZ was from actual cache, we probably needed to look further afield.
Thanks anyway JacobsCrew

Spent the day with family & friends, and had some time to ourselves in the afternoon.
Headed off to Forrestfield, to do the caches in the area.
We managed to find 14 caches, before it got dark, and were not disappointed with
the variety of hides. Thanks for the cache, JacobsCrew.
A Merry Christmas to all.

[:(!] We did an early morning caching run and we were home just after midday, this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and we walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Well this one was the last in the series had I had to collect to get the right coordinates for the final. I discovered that work clothes and heels really aren't the best items to go caching in, luckily i found a pair of flats in the boot *phew*. Unfortunately I wasn't in luck with this one and after many scratches on the arms and legs, had to call in a favour. Woo hoo! With the final numbers to find the extra cache, off I went!
