### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Spock1967,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Travelling from Perth to Canberra with lots of side tracks.TFTC.
I was looking way too high, which the little girl in the dog park liked and yelled out. Once quiet again I found quickly.

Got it. Some muggles were watching us but then they revealed they were local cachers and this one had eluded them up till now.
Up at a banding weekend at Weddins so with the maintenance log and an inactive CO thought it was time to sign this one before it gets archived. Was pouring by the time I arrived in Grenfell (getting an ice cream didn’t stop it coming).
Parked near the silos and trudged down in the rain. A quick scan revealed where I thought I needed to be. Cache was quickly located. However extracting (initially looked for a local tool but had one in my pocket that worked) and then opening (I blame cold fingers) took longer and all the while the rain tumbled down. When I got it open as others have said the log was full). So hopefully it survives (as a nice hide) but glad to get it sorted.

Read the previous logs to get an idea of where it was. A very very bleak and cold day with the rain falling down and the last one to find it and put it into an almost an accessible position – filled it but couldn’t get it out. Manage to coax it from its hidey hole, signed and gratefully replaced it. TFTC – I think.
Thanks for the cache Spock. Mum has been here 5 times and couldn’t find it I was here and found it
Found. TFTC. Log nearly full, Doubling up on Weddin shire covered while travelling from the Blue Mountains to Wagga.
We pulled up near this cache and wandered down the abandoned railway line. We were pretty confident where we would stop, and so it was. We looked around and then noted it was a micro. Hmmm. We then checked the hint. At that point, we changed elevation to see if we could get a better view and put our hand on the cache before we saw it. This is an excellent sneaky little hide, and you get a fantastic view of the silo art from this vantage point. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Spock1967. Live Long and Prosper
This was a bit of a comedy of errors. I got to the Gz and had a little climb without success. I then read the clue again and looked up very high and saw 3 boards but there was no way that I was going that high. I stood back to contemplate my failure and then spotted it at a place that I was brave enough to go to. A short climb and it was in hand. As I completed the log I dropped the top in the grass. After much searching I found the top and put the cache back where it belongs.
By the way- that is a fancy dog park.

We are staying in Grefell for the night so we could get the caches in town. This is one we found. TFTC Spock1967
Found after a shot climb and a quick look. The silos look amazing. Such brilliant colours.
Today we said farewell to Temora and moved on the short distance fo Grenfell. We picked up a few caches en route and arrived mid morning and set up in the donation camp at the Old Railway Station. A lovely setting with the restored station and a playground nearby. Only sharing it with one other! We then checked out the local area caching breaking it with lunch and a coffee at one of the local cafes. The scenery here with its rolling plains and hills is quite different to home. The storm clouds rolling in over the nearby mountains were spectacular.
As for the nearby silo art, amazing.
Thank you to the local cachers. A mixture of hides and a couple quite clever.

Very happy to say I found it on a bit of a wet day Mrs 67 year old went looking for it TFTC.
Wow what an adventure. Lots of people saying double the one two three but I'm not sure why... Log dry and in good condition with space on the log.
After returning from a 3000km silo & water tower art trail I am now logging my cache finds we had a great trip
Erg. I looked _there_ I swear.
Then I looked everywhere else, then I read logs, then I read more logs. Then I kicked stuff, then I checked waaaaaay up there, then I read more logs then kicked more stuff....
I honest gave up.
I contacted a previous finder who confirmed my suspicion, and got me back on track.
I totally ended up where I started and quickly had log in hand and signed.
Thanks!

The experience geocacher came up blank and the newbie found it within 1min...
Thank you. I really enjoyed this cache. One of the best I've done for a while.
A nice area, but grass is getting a bit long. Had an idea where to look and spotted it before grabbing it. Thanks,
After viewing the nearby silos we detoured here for a look. Can’t resist a railway cache. When we didn’t find it quickly, we looked back through some logs and decided where we needed to go. A favourite point for the placement- thanks for the hide.
The long grass was a bit of a deterrent and not that interesting a spot until I turned and looked to the north. The attached photo says it all. The mural is stunning.
I decided to drive to Cootamundra for the long weekend to stay with my sister Ottercreek29. Plans were in for a quick drive to West Wyalong to look at the painted silo then we decided to go to Grenfell as well. I am amazed at the fantastic job Heesco did with the paintings. We stopped and chatted to some visitors that were also at the silo and then we got into car to get closer to the cache. OtterCreek29 looked at some of the photos and it was decided that Jacki -would do the climbing, slightly windy and a bit wobbly at the top, she was so brave and looked not so high. well hidden We signed the log as team Flame Trees (Darzee Di, OtterCreek29, J-Quellan and the Ryan Girls) tftc Spock1967

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Not to be. Made a climb without reward, checked other locations and still nothing.
Maybe another time.

After a fun little climb, we got to search and the cache was soon found.

With a day free I decided to go for a drive to Grenfell and clean it out. This didn’t end up happening as some caches I couldn’t find and some are missing (according to past logs). About ½ of the caches I found today are in need of some urgent TLC. The list of issues includes: cracked containers, waterlogged/full logbooks, missing parts of field puzzles, incorrect coordinates and completely missing containers. I did try my best to help CO’s with these problems as much as possible but unfortunately, I didn’t have enough supplies with me for all of them. I hope the CO’s will continue maintaining these great hides, to stay alive for others to find in the future. Today was a great day full of creative hides, great locations, fun hikes and lots of laughs. TB visit on all found caches today and on some of the smaller log books/sheets I signed as 13/9 JM. Even though I was upset with the state of some of the caches around, I still would like to say thank you to all the CO’s for taking the time to place the caches I found and the fun I had while finding them today. Sorry about the generic logs. Only the more interesting hides and DNF’s will get an extended logs due to the amount of caches I found today.
After parking at this one I found myself at the wrong 'Choo Choo Stop'. It was only after I took a look at the map again that I found myself at the correct one. Great spot to have a cache. TFTC

crikey how exposed to you feel doing this cache. the people across the way must look out their window and scratch their heads at the random weird people looking for this cache. I was no exception i'm sure. then one I saw was happy enough to grin at me as I made it back to the car without asking questions thankfully and considering how many dnf's cachers log on this cache a muggle has very little chance of working out what we are doing. thanks for pushing me outside my comfort zone today Spock1967 its one of the reasons I cache.
I've looked on such a place before without success. This one made me anticipate the same result. But I spotted it quite quickly.
Out and about on the way around Grenfel we found some really good , sneeky caches over two days, it was a awesome to be a cacher, we luv the country side out this way thanx to the cache owners for making the day what it was , awesome
we have some caches to return to because we ran out of weekend , lol

A good hint led hubby to the cache, that I had spotted. Another FP given
We have now set up camp at the old railway station. After a lunch break we did a tiki tour of the town, finding some very cleverly hidden caches in some great location. The town was very hot today.
Thanks for placing this cache Spock1967

Found at 12:01 PM GAFF3.
Oh dear - we made a meal out of this one. I went straight to where I thought it would be, but didn't look well enough and so we then started to search all over the place and at dizzying heights as well [B)] We also tried to make some sense out of the hint and made a convoluted scenario that was total BS
It was not until c-pprass went to have a look and found it straight away.
Thanks Spock1967.
Feedback: Looks like the container and log sheet has been replaced, but we can't see a "Owner Maintenance" log?

Found it this morning. I also did not sign log as last one of these I opened took me an hour to roll up again. I considered the 1 2 3 hint but had to count to 4 or maybe 5
Last cache for the evening in Grenfell. Love abandoned railways although it's sad that these tracks will never see another train. I walked the line like Johnny Cash and the cache was a bit more than 1,2,3 but where else could it be? As others have noted the log is stuffed and can't be signed - I left a 'Y' in marker pen on the mush. Seal is gone so cache needs replacing.
Thanks!
Thanks!
On geocaching holiday and staying in Grenfell for a couple of days. Decided to do a number of caches around the town. Arrived at GZ and cache soon found. Locating the cache and where it was, was the first time I had to do something like that to retrieve the cache. TFTC
I'm not climbing up there! Be careful. Maybe only 1,2,3. Couldn't write on the log. Whole canister needs replacing to stop everything getting wet. TFTC
Myself and woodsy1988 found this one pretty tricky!! Makes you laugh and wonder how you didn't find it earlier once found!!! Great cache...
I strolled along the olde rails to a very obvious place to hide a cache
Gawd do I have to climb up there ??
I looked in a couple of easy to reach spots first.
No cache so it must be a bit higher up [:o]
Up I went, and in a spot that I considered to be the most likely place (after thinking about the clue) I found the cache on about the third time I looked
The first two times I must have touched the little bugger, but not felt it.
Only when I descended to ground level again and looked up did I think I could see it.
Third time was the charm
TFTF ... I'm chuffed [^]

Plans were made with the FurfacesLL ladies to do a loop of Cowra, Grenfell and surrounds. Although I have recently been on this loop with Tanso, I was keen to head out again with the girls and even attack a couple of the DNF's from the previous trip. I managed to pick up a total of 18 finds today and 1 cache was DNF'ed again after another extensive look.
After previously DNF'ing this one on my last visit, we decided to give this one another crack. FFLL2 came up with the goods here so it was a very satisfying find.
Thanks Spock1967 for placing these caches, lovely area especially on a day like today. and thanks to FFLL ladies for another nice caching day out

Our only free day for quite some time so we decided to head out on a geomission around the area. We have had a couple of mini tours lately, but today we went all out to Cowra and Grenfell to see how many we could find. Rapidlywild came along for the drive to fill her gaps where she has previously posted DNF's. The weather was lovely and the drive was picturesque, thank you to all the cache owners for bringing us to this lovely part of Australia.
