Logs
Log book was wet. It was good fun finding this one. Took a little army man home.
After waiting for the morning drizzle to pass I headed out for a walk along Chinamens Hut Track. I met some people spotting Orchids and was given a bit of an education on the varieties found in the area. A bit of exercise and a handful of caches made for an enjoyable day. Thank you Five Hundred Hide Freddo, for placing The Uni-Mind for the geocaching community.# # #15269 # #
Enjoying the sunny day in this beautiful area. The log book is a little damp in this one. Some local ants are also loving the free accomodation. TFTC
Another clamber and another cacheLog sodden and container full of ants.badly needs some TLCTFTC
Really beat up cache. Nowhere really out of the weather to hide it. Full of ants and water.
Congrats to Freddo for all of his hides! He is definitely a resource for geocachers in South Australia!Today I am hiking from Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty and then back to Waterfall Gully. Because Im insane.Anyway, Im finding lots of geocaches along the way.The container here seem to be a couple of meters away from its likely hiding spot, so I returned it. Still very easy to find. And coordinates are spot on.The ants who have taken over the container for their home were not impressed by my presence. Oh well. TFTC!
A pleasant stroll in this part of Cleland with naughtybunny. The cache was found quite quickly not far off the track and logged. TNLN. Cheers.
Today was a lovely morning to go for a walk in Cleland. I was a bit worried about too many Muggles, being a sunny Sunday, but this part of the park was wonderfully uncluttered. I hadn't walked in this bit before, so thanks for the experience.
TFTC Freddo.

Found on an Autumn hike with the geokids. Was looking for the Harry Potter series but this one was on the way past and was well worth the stop.
Left a little green car for the little green men. Some muggles were quite confused as we stepped back onto the path…
Left a couple of LGM
Out with a friend who enjoys walking while I'm searching for caches.

After finding all the Harry Potter geocaches, we found this one before we walked back up to the car. I didn’t take a little green man, but I did take a dinosaur.
Morning strolling

Decided to walk up waterfall gully today before the rain comes in look a different way down for something interesting. TFTC
Of the five geocaches we attempted today, we found four. This was the first time we had found so many in one day, TFTC!
An early afternoon hike to clean up the Harry Potter series I started years ago, as well as a few other caches in the area that have been on the radar for a bit. Drove up via Eagle on the Hill and then took the Measday Track around, branching off a few times to grab others within a short hike.
This was find number 9 of 9 for the day for me. TFTC Freddo!

With a 15h rogaine only 3 weeks away I needed to get some kilometers in my legs. So on this glorious morning I went for a ‘stroll’ in Cleland and Waite, finding 7 caches and hiding 2 as well.
This cache I have walked past or near on numerous occasions but never took the time to stop for. Twice I walked past here wounded from a fall whilst running too…
Seeing this was Freddo’s 500th reminds me to finally collect Freddo’s 100th too!
tftc Freddo and for all the previous 499

We found this geocache but it had been opened and contents strewn everywhere. Log is wet. We replaced as best we could and fixed the broken clip, however not sure on original hiding spot so just placed at the bottom of the tree out of sight of the path. Probably needs to be checked/new log book and rehidden in the right place
Thanks for the cache - we found it but have reported as needs maintenance as was open and contents everywhere
Out and about introducing a new we to geocaching in Adelaide, a fun wee find!

The Perpexed Pandas and Melrose boys found the treasure. A suitable little green man found a home
We are eternally grateful to the frog who hides so many caches. Found this one today.
Easy find lying on the ground. So put it back where the hint says if you get what I mean.
Easy find. But the ants think it is a nice place to nest so I moved it a little bit. Tftc
Found with Team Waldron after grabbing a cache up the hill. Another ripper cache. Well placed, great container and a quick find! Perfect! TFTC
After telling Trail06 it wont be o that side of the track, it was.
Cool container.

After attending a very pleasant breakfast event at Malvern this morning, I headed back up to the hills to find a few caches that I had planned to do today.
Bad plan! Although there was a bit of rain, I thought it might clear for a while. However it just got worse as the morning progressed. There was even some hail!
But I had good waterproofs and warm clothes so I persevered and found the five caches I had targeted in quick time and without any issues. I was surprised to see a couple of other hardy souls also out walking in the rain.
Thanks Five Hundred Hide Freddo for the cache.

We had decided to start our caching journey for today in the hills. Its been a while since we ventured down some of these tracks and we planned to start early before it got too hot.
It was à pleasant walk to this cache. We had to wait for several walkers and a runner to go by before we could duck out of sight to look for this cache. It was found waiting tucked out of sight. Container and contents where in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Freddo and congratulations on a major milestone passed sometime ago. It is always good to find interesting cache containers. We wondered what this one had been used for before its cache conversion.

Fluffymaxi and I made a plan to attempt to find the caches in the Harry Potter series this afternoon after the amazing event so that I could complete the Cache Carnival souvenir challenge and fluffymaxi could get close to finishing as it only has two days left before it finishes.
The walk was really enjoyable and we had just 1 DNF and found all others.
This one wasn’t part of the Harry Potter series, but was on the walk so just had to be found as well.

Was out running some errands at lunch time and decided that despite the 31 degree day it would be a nice day for a lunchtime wander in the hills. Parked nearby and started to wander. headed for this one second and despite some steep bits reached GZ relatively quickly. Spotted the hide from a little way off and headed bush to locatd the cache. Signed the log and replaced.

Found on the way to the main prize
Out and about on a road trip to Adelaide, I was particularly targeting Wherigo and letterbox caches but there are a lot of other interesting caches to be found, this being one of them.
**Thanks to Freddo for placing this cache.**

Found this with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband just before sunset. I saw that someone had dropped my geo daughter’s TB and decided to go and pick it up. This cache was on the track as well so grabbed it and another TB on the way. TFTC SL. Picked up TB
Had to postpone camping trip to Clare due to illness but after 2 extra recuperation days today seemed like a nice sort of day for a stroll up here.

As daylight savings has ticked over today was able to do some caching later in the evening. A short stroll around cleveland was taken to collect some finds. A nice and easy find TFTC
Hiking around Mt Lofty area on a cold windy nippy day with jesswrigley. A chance to stretch the legs in amongst a weekend of home cleaning up.
Was the final cache of the day as we had finished up with all the Harry Potter themed caches. Congratulations on Freddo's 500th hide, although I suspect it is much more than that these days. A beacon milestone nevertheless, thanks!
