I always wondered if this series was still here and today I am going to find out.
They are not all there as the farmers have done some work on their fences and some of the caches have disappeared since the last cachers have been here.
This one was still in its hiding spot and I signed the log and returned it to its hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks dbelco All good with this archived cache

It was a pleasant surprise to find all these archived caches still in place, I think we missed 3 for the entire series. In most part they were in excellent condition, only a few had wet logs so we dried out and added paper to original logs. Thank u for a great series. Tftc
While in town for the Mega we travelled to the Otaways and discovered a still active cache on the way ,with further investigating we discovered a series of Archived caches ,being a hunter of these type we quickly found the trail and signed the log sheets and returned the cache to where we found it .TFTC
Found this one after a quick look at GZ. Log is damp and hard to sign.Extremely busy stretch of road, even on a rainy day. The local cows kept chatting to us, looking for a food hand out I think.
Sadly there was none on our side of the fence either to offer them.

A reasonably quick find once we arrived at the GZ. Log is a bit damp, but otherwise intact. Sent Hello 2016 Trackable on its way.
This cache was eventful. We had cows constantly mooing at us and on the way back to the car...we crossed the road a couple of hundred meters in front of an old gentleman who gave us the bird and tooted as he went past. What is the older generation coming to..?
8th cache for the day

Out caching with kumacat filling in gaps from our first attempt and continuing on. Awesome trail! Log is wet but still writable
On our return trip home from camping on the great ocean road, had to use the inland detour as the road to lorne was blocked due to bush-fires... which gave us the opportunity to grab caches in the Ottways.
Found this one reasonably quick, all in good condition

We've had our eye on doing this series for quite a while, so I thought I would ask about in on Facebook, where the answer was the road can get quite busy. With this in mind, we decided on an early start and leave home just after 4.a.m. arriving at the first cache before 6.30 a.m. while it was relatively quiet, which turned out to be of some help. As the day drew on, the hotter it got and by the time we got half way through, we were feeling the heat, trapped in the trees with little or no wind, plus the road was quite busy by this stage.
Some caches were missing, some wet, some where the log had composted to green slime. We replaced what logs we had with us, then after that we had to ignore the bad ones we couldn't sign.
Thanks dbelco for the placement and cache.

Find #1562
A big day of lone caching focussed mainly on this series. This was one of 80 finds in total and 62 finds in the series. A mixed bag with mainly good places to park and finds that followed helpful patterns. A great series for racking up the numbers but it probably needs a bit of TLC with several logs either wet or just stuffed into the cache. It was pretty tiring to do all the driving, navigation and cache finds but it was lovely weather for it. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables that I am carrying on the way to the Melbourne mega event. Thanks heaps for the series dbelco and apologies for the generic log.

Mrs ReganSeekers & I celebrate our birthdays 3 weeks apart. This year we turn the big Three-Zero so we felt a child-free Geocaching roadtrip was the perfect way to celebrate. We decided that we would head for the Otways & complete this trail.
A few were missing & many had wet logs that we managed to sign a slightly legible initial on only. It was a beautiful day to be out & about & it was quite satisfying to sign our names on the finale after a very long afternoon. TFTC/Series.

This year becca85 and myself (Mrs ReganSeekers) celebrated the big Three Zero and only 3 weeks apart. So we decided what better to celebrate our birthdays then a caching road trip weekend starting with the Otway Trail. Aftet a mistaken snake (legless lizard) walking into spider webs, road kill and many crawling in countless ants we completed the trail successfully! A few extreamly wet logs with managing just an initial, we're happily to have completed the series TFTC/Series

A beautiful, if a little drizzly, winters day. GeoKid free, before the impending school holidays. What else to do but travel down to Forrest and attempt this trail in reverse with the excellent company of AutumnTree and AutumnCS?
We had a fantastic day, finding the majority of caches along the way. Dealt with drizzle, wet grass, the scent of bovine, and lots of mud! Avoided getting bogged which I considered to be a big plus! Had to stop at Moriac however to go be responsible parents and deal with after school activities! Coffee was excellent at the Moriac General Store - well worth a trip down that way to complete the trail.

One Family - One Ferry Ride - This Way To The Otways Trail - 3000th Cache
Saturday saw us board the 9am Ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff, the smooth trip and views were the highlight. Leaving Queenscliff we made our way to Mount Moriac finding a few caches on the way before starting the caching in earnest. We had lunch at Moriac before winding our way to Barwon Downs gathering caches along the way. We found our 3000th cache then headed home grabbing a few caches on the way, arriving home in time to catch the Storm v Panthers game!!!
Even though we fell seven caches short of completing the trail, time was getting away from us. We had a great day with many a laugh and stirring. I am sure the area was echoing with "Found It!!" screamed out as Katy and Campbell's competitive juices flowed. I am sure I heard from the drivers seat at one stage hearing found it x 2, jinx x 2, double jinx, bounce off the roof, doh, followed by hysterics. Another incident was Campbell pushing past Katy to find a cache, to be pushed away himself, falling backwards on a tussock landing on his butt!!
We had a blast all day finding caches and thank the owners for hiding them for us to find!!!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

We have to say that this type of series is not our favorite, but as we have to go further & further afield to find new caches we have to find all we can while we're in the area. We rode the ferry from Sorento yesterday afternoon and are just starting this series at 09:30. We decided geo-wife would operate GPS & look up the next cache details as soon as we found one while I signed the log and re-hid the cache. This routine worked well and with the exception of 5 caches, which we either missed or have logged as DNFs, we completed the final cache at 15:45. A good challenge which we enjoyed far more than we thought we would.
This was my last of the day to finish this section (I thought until logging these I noticed that I'd still missed 3 a couple of k's away). It had been a hot couple of hours and it was only stubbornness that made me keep going. so this one gets a favorite out of relief! TFTC
Today we targetted this series of caches while staying at Geelong.
We started at 10.00 am and completed the series at Forrest at 4.00 pm.

Continuing along the cache trail today on our way to Forrest, managing a few quick park and grabs with Yoshi Warrior and geo kids. Found without too much trouble, tftc dbelco.
Did this series today (apart from 5 DNF's) with Happy Pants and 4 geokids in tow. We set off from Warrnambool this morning stocked up on food & drink and had some coffee stops on the way before arriving at the starting point. #1 was found at 10am and #68 at 5.10pm. We had a couple of stops on the way to get other nearby caches and for the geokids to stretch their legs. Thanks dbelco for the hard work putting this series together. We found the coordinates were spot on for most of the hides.
Straightforward find. Log in good condition.

As I was only 75 smilies from 2000, and 2 days left of the Year, I decided to hit the "This way to the Otways" trail, the Tiger Line trail and a few others that looked like quick grabs to get the big numbers before the new year.
A 14hour solo round trip with only me, ute, GPSr and a selection of music to keep my sanity.
I left home just before 7.30am and got back home almost at 9.30pm and had travelled 628ks
On this trail, those caches found, were found with in good condition and fairly accurate with the exception of a couple. (that I have noted in my logs)

48/75 for the day. We set out after breakfast with wanting to double our number and this series gave us the perfect opportunity to. Some had us stumped and were very good hides others were perfect for a quick find. This is a road we hadn't been down before but will frequent now with memories of a fantastic family day. We didn't bother with some that had recent DNF and we appreciate fellow geocachers who have maintained and noted updates. TFTC dbelco
We picked this cache up at 2:17pm. This cache had no cover, so I am not sure it is hidden in the way the owner meant it to be. There were some distant muggles whilst we hunted, but they didn't seem to notice us.
It was a massive day for SirJ-Oz, Sharkiefan and I. Our main aim for the day was the 'This way to the Otways' series. We found all but 5 of them. There was rain off and on through out the day, but me managed to stay mostly dry and came home tired but please with a total of 70 find for the day. Thanks for the cache and the series dbelco.

Today's plan was to start and complete the "This way to the Otways" series with an extra few thrown in for good measure (and to achieve a nice round number tally for the day).
This was the forty-seventh of 70 finds for the day, and I made the find. The muggle property owners in the distance paid no attention to what we were doing.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache DBelco.

Another day out on the road. A drizzly day kept all the muggles out of our way today. We nearly cleaned up the series today but a few elusive ones will bring us back to this lovely part of Victoria again. TFTC
A top day with a couple of other teams with a high level of geocaching addiction, namely Alansee and Di from Team Crackers. Loads of fun on this trail, the rain was a light drizzle most of the day so not too bad. Some caches required a long search as they seem to disappear into the weeds and mulch or into the tree foliage but eventually we were able to spot. A mamouth effort by the cache owner and we thank you dbelco.
Our last day of caching in Australia as we head off to the airport today\. Couldnt resist picking up a few caches along the way. Thanks to all of the local cachers who have placed lots of caches for us to enjoy. Greetings from Crete.
We found this one on the ground so we placed it where the hint indicated.
Caching today with Motndarg, Glanville Girls and Tomstache, our aim was to finish our adventure that we started earlier this year. Our plan was to have lunch in Birregurra (where we met up and collected Rehfisch Clan, $doo and Storm_horse) and then incorporate the the Tiger Line into our caching plan. An overnight stay in Forrest made for a fantastic weekend.

After tidying up a couple of pieces of unfinished business in Geelong, we headed west to the road to the Otways to tackle both the "This Way To The Otways" series and the "Tiger Line" series. We anticipated that we would run out of time to look for them all today but we had left an opportunity to return early tomorrow to complete any that we may have left from today. Our first impression was the business of the road - it was close to a never ending stream of traffic but we were always able to stop, hunt and return to the road without too many problems. "This Way To The Otways" was a major undertaking and we congratulate DBelco on the detailed planning and implementation that was completed.
A combination of the hint and accurate coordinates led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition.

What better way to spend a sunny Sunday then to get out and cache, ended up doing quite a few Km’s today even with the late departure time we managed to get more than we expected and was a great outing, some caches took a little longer to uncover than others but well worth the effort. Seeing today seemed to be the pick of the crop weather wise, we ventured out to do This Way to the Otways Trail with BettyBoo3747. We completed the whole trail and a few others along the way.
Can't say we say any of the views offered in the description, because by the time we had finished the trail it was time to go home!
We mainly saw brown paddocks and a lot of cut hay. Although we did see a lot of caches too
Thanks for placing the caches where it was reasonable to pull off the road. A good collection of hides, but I think I have seen more sprinkler heads that I have ever before.
Nearly all had good co-ordinates except for a couple which we averaged way points after finding the cache.
Parked over the gateway only to have the farmer drive up - quickly moved the car, and the bugger went through a different gate into the next paddock!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 5677. Robmc had picked today as the coolest day of the week to go out on a caching run. After yesterdays searing heat we were glad to be heading to the Otways......
So much for the thought that it might be a nice quiet country road on a cool day now that the school holidays have finished. It was like the main drag between Sydney and Melbourne - unbelievably busy with a constant stream of cars and trucks and property owners busy with their tractors and haybalers.
Apart from 2 caches where the coordinates appeared to be 15-17 metres from where we found GZ the rest were pretty good and the containers didn't take too long to find. A few however, did have us doing the bees dance tryng to find what we were searching for. I am sure you must have a bulk deal with someone for one of your types of hides. As most of those had open bottoms and no plastic bags I fear that with the first rains the logs will be soaked through.
All in all it was a great day with this series being completed and a few more grabbed along the way. Certainly some lovely scenery of nicely rounded hay bales and rolling hills and full dams as we got closer to Forrest.
Oops we parked at the gateway to begin the search only to have the farmer appear on his quad bike. Phew, he was just going into the next paddock so we were able to retrieve and sign and rehide in peace.
Thanks DBelco

As most of those had open bottoms and no plastic bags I fear that with the first rains the logs will be soaked through.
All in all it was a great day with this series being completed and a few more grabbed along the way. Certainly some lovely scenery of nicely rounded hay bales and rolling hills and full dams as we got closer to Forrest.
Oops we parked at the gateway to begin the search only to have the farmer appear on his quad bike. Phew, he was just going into the next paddock so we were able to retrieve and sign and rehide in peace.
Thanks DBelco
Our final attempt to finish the series - yep, this time we did it. Just ignored the heat, enjoyed the trip and found all the missing pieces. Thanks heaps to DBelco for the series!
I came down here with featherdown to do the remaining caches in this series this morning. Noting theat #6 had been replaced, this was the first and bulk of the finds then recomenced at cache #36. Once again we found all of your caches though a few were doozies, especially when the clues disappeared but perseverance paid off everywhere else.
We finished in Forrest at 11.50am, just in time for the town's Aust Day festivities. Retired to the brewing place for lunch and drinks!
Thanks for a great series DBelco, enjoyed them very much

For us it was a way from the Otways. So a lot of road crossing and sometimes not stopping for all of them. Thanks for a great series for the statistics. TFTC
Today looked like the perfect caching day.
It was low 20's and the next few days were forcast to be in the 30's so we decided to take a packed lunch and tackle to Otways trail.
It was a nice trail though quite busy on the road. This may have been due to the Long Weekend though.
Thanks to DBelco for the work in getting this caching trail going.
We had a great afternoon of geocaching.

Perfect weather, road a little busy but we had a really great time completing this series. Resorted to generic logs for the moment - sorry. There are so many to log.
