On the Road Less Traveled series (and surrounding countryside) with Steeba.
Sadly, despite our best efforts, we could not turn up anything here today.
Cheers

Anther DNF here for me, this time in daylight, and again with a previous finder with me. I agree with Scenic Routers, an owner maintenance visit is needed here.
Feeling pretty blind at not being able to spot a 1/1.5 cache, even if it was dark and starting to rain again. I even had a previous finder with me which normally ensures a find, but not this time.
I'm a Canadian here in Australia, my first geocache here in Aussie! Thanks for great find
When we approached GZ the container was precariously perched in full view so after signing the log and adding extra swaps and a geocaching note we found some camo that had probably fallen away and left it a little less exposed. TFTC
This was a case of saying "Oh I see what the cache name means now!" as soon as we arrived at GZ.
My family name was the same as the one in question and, as kids, we delighted in telling our gullible friend next door, that we were responsible for the amazing displays produced by these people. Thanks for the memories and the cache w0lfpack4.

We had intended to get more caches in the area, but we were running out of time, so we found this cache and then turned for home. I was looking in the right spot but not at the right level, so the WaywardWoman was able to able to walk up behind me and point out the obvious cache that I was failing to notice. Thanks
#3633- Out on a caching run for the day with bikerbuddy. I always love a big bang, so I couldnt miss this one. A very straightforward find. Thanks
As I stood here tonight logging this one, I was told all about the big bang that occurred here.
We discovered all those many a couple of days ago.
We have solved all the interesting mysteries before we started our trip to the Mid Western Region of NSW.
Day 1
We started the day in Meadow Flat, followed by Sunny Corner and Dark Corner past Palmers Oakley.
We loved the hilly nature along many peaceful Gravel roads. Many smilies were forming on our map.
We finished the day in Bathurst.
Day 2
We started all fresh again in the morning. Leaving Bathurst, we were able to get going about faster along the sealed road.
We reached Sofala at around lunch time. We couldn't believe that about 40,000 used to live here. It really seemed that the city stopped developing in around the 1850's..
We continued towards Hills End and Windeyer through dry grassy land in 47 degrees heat.
We spend such a beautiful night here in Windeyer in the caravan park. We booked one of the train accomodation where you got to stay in the train back in time. What a great experience. We really liked Windeyer as it seemed so far away from all the city rush. Te locals were very welcoming and were happy to see us in the pub next door for dinner.
What a great community living were it seems like everyone knows everyone.
Day 3
We left Windeyer after a big breakfast. We travelled along Hills End Road until we reached the turn towards another Gravel road. There wer many animals to watch and it got even hotter and hotter.
This day ended in Mudgee.
Day 4
We took a look at Mudgee city today were we searched for a couple of caches and ten continued towards Rylstone.
After we continued to the Wollemi National Park which a good friend recommended us to go. Here we climbed on the top of the mountain and simply enjoyed the stunning view and the tranquil nature.
After, we traveled towards Kandos, Capertee, Cullen Bullen, Portland and Wallerawang back home to Sydney.
We hereby would like to thank all owners for this great interesting tour. We got to see many historical places and sometimes felt like as if we were living back in the the 1850's, which is a good thing.
Thanks

This was nice and easy...despite the car that was parked further back. Maybe they were a family of cachers waiting for me to go. I out-waited them.
It was really good and fun, and it was easy to find. I say thank you to the creators of this cache =}
Found this one! First find for us, young daughter very happy and excited to find a cache after two unsuccessful attempts at finding others. Thank you for the necklace and 'diamond'. Swapped a few treasures. TFTF!
After a very nice Christmas lunch with my aunt in Portland, we hit the road late in the afternoon to visit friends at Penrith. This cache, on the way out of town, was a hard one to resist as I had had some involvement in the establishment of the business here years ago.
The find itself was quickly made and recorded, but as we left I heard the sounds of pyrotechnics in the background ... either the occupants were celebrating Christmas or testing out a new model ... who knows?
Thanks for making me stop here, wolfpack4, and for the smiley.

Having been out here on the night of the big bang and felt close hand what the earth did that night. We though a plane had crashed. Nice quick find TFTC.
A day roadtripping alone around the general area. Noticed the 'bunkers' quickly on parking then wandered wrong way around, slowly, at the GZ ... easy find. TFTC
A relatively easy find, though did not understand the meaning of the name until returning to the car, also noticed the property had a large bonfire burning.........though cool we got here at the right time. But alas left without a cracker!
Thanks for the cache wolfpack4!

Streak Day # 324 - dragged out the ses muggles to find a cache for the day. One of boys made the find for me and they are no longer geocaching virgin's. TFTC
A well known family across the road. No explosions but found the cache & left a piece of polished Snowflake Obsidian. Later in the day as I wandered around Portland waymarking saw a temperature/time signal - 12 degrees so appropriate swag. Thanks.
Not a place I would want to work in - unless they gave free samples. Good place for a cache - thanks.
Thanks, W0lfpack... I always wondered where this was, and now I know!
I wonder if they put in any New Year's Eve shows here... Or perhaps that wouldn't be so wise...

A pleasant afternoon drive to knock off a date.
Hit GZ and made a nice quick find. Understood the name of the cache when I saw the sign across the road and I too remember a few years back what went on.

A quick afternoon run to come find this one to fill the 3rd last day on my "Find a day" calendar.
I can remember when this place went "BANG" back in December 2007.

Found it late night, after being pulled over by the police cause we looked suspect lol
Been looking at this cache for a couple of days, and surprised no one has grabbed it. Lucky us as a first to find with pills123. TFTC
