Now with 5 consecutive DNF's stretching back to June 2017, this cache is well and truly due for one of those regular owner maintenance visits for a check please.

Found this cache on our homeward journey as there were muggles just at the crucial spot. It was exactly what I thought it would be and exactly where I thought it would be. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find. SL as SG
Lovely to meet a fellow cacher out here and have a little chat.
Really enjoyed the detour drive we took around this area on our way to Hay. Obviously we weren't in a hurry. We found lovely spots on the side of the river, learnt some history and visited quaint little towns still going after such a long history.

Sure is micro, and just as well it's above flood level because the river was riding as I searched.
Rode out on the MTBs but the trails were already underwater. Oh well, I'll come back another day.

Had to wait for a few muggles to pass by including the water police whom had found an unfortunate boater to book! Then we could search without eyes watching and soon had cache in hand! Lovely area, might have to come back with my bike! TFTC
With the power out today, we decided to clean up a couple of local caches after a bit of lunch in the "old section" of town.
Even though the server was not available on my phone, the GC app still new were we were heading, and with a bit of geosense the cache was quickly found.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, at 1415. Alan had suggested a wonderful place in Moama for a late lunch. Suitably refreshed, we could relax and enjoy the scene before us. Beautiful water views in every direction. Spotted the cache after a short search. Our thanks to milihage.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
I like it

I had been enjoying the cache finds along the trail headed into Echuca this morning
But here the finds came to an abrupt, muggle infested, halt
Hey I know it's skool holidays, but why the crowds on a Friday !!??
Oh !! It's a public holiday isn't it
So this cache find was a no show today due to the hoards hanging around the boat ramp
Nice spot though !!
If you are into boating, fishing, etc.

Our stay along the river this time was only a short one, so I hadn't had much of a chance to come out and play. This morning, I left the rest of the family snoring in their beds and drove west along the northern side of the river to see how many smileys I could manage before we had to pack our bags.
This second stop of the morning was a tricky one to locate... there are plenty of places it could have been, and the GPSr would not cooperate. I stood and thought for a minute or two, and thought about where I would hide a cache. Oh. Of course... and sure enough, the little blighter was in hand in seconds.
Thanks for the smiley, milihage.

Spending a week holidaying on a houseboat on the Murray we stopped the night about 700m up the river on other side for the night. I wanted to get this cache as it will be my first NSW cache so my brother took me across and dropped me off in his boat and he went off fishing while I went fishing around for this cache.
While searching for the cache 2 old blokes turned up and started talking to me and telling me all the problems of the world but eventually they left so it was back on with the search, found cache in a place I had looked before it blends in nicely. Sl thanks for the cache and for bringing me to this nice reserve.

Well wasn't today an interesting day?
We were up in Echuca today having a bit of a get together with the fire brigade in preparation for a fire demo the next day. One of the members has a ski-boat and so we were all having a great time on the water here at The Five Mile.
I went on the tube behind the boat with two other blokes. As we whipped around a corner I came off, on my side and knew I was in strife even before I had stopped tumbling. I managed to get back on but there was a hell of a pain in my side. As we got back to sure I was stuggling to breathe, so I decided to head off to the hospital to get checked out.
Three ribs, cracked or broken. Great!
So loaded up with pain killers I returned a few hours later. I figured while I waited I would look for the cache. Well there happened to be a few muggles with us who had done some caching before and before I knew it most of the fire brigade were searching.
I was looking at a certain place but the pain in the ribs was slowing me up. Another member was also looking near me and soon found the cache.
All in good condition!
TFTC and the search. Everyone who was looking loved it and I think we may have even converted a few!
Now back to nurse my poor ribs.

Great spot here but we couldn't even begin to search for the cache as muggles were right on GZ. Next time maybe.
Found with PaddyJack on their second attempt to find, my first. Signed and replaced. TFTC
What a sneaky hide had us looking for quite awhile then Jak spotted it out the corner of his eye, we signed the log with Mikidos , took a photo of the river for future reference and replaced the cache TFTC
This took a little time to locate, but after a thorough search we soon had the little tacker in hand. Nice one milihage... TFTC
Found after a lot of searching was very close a few times.
Very sneaky hide. signed and replaced. TFTC milihage a very good hide.

Having not seen a log for GregAndJudi by early this morning I decided that I had time for a drive and search before work.
On arrival at the "5 Mile" the gps pointed toward an obvious area and that's where I headed. Once there the gps wasn't happy and kept me heading further south until I was less than 2m from the water edge and 18m from the most obvious area. Returning to the structure I searched high and low for just short of one hour but to no avail. A scout around other obvious spots during the search also failed to turn up the elusive cache.
With far too much time spent and work beckoning I gave up and headed back to town. A message to GregAndJudi confirmed that the cache had also eluded them and that the coordinates were, perhaps, a little too close to the water.

Yay!!!! We had a FTF. Was surprised to be the first at this one.
What a great spot for a picnic. It will be fantastic when they finish
it. We watched some poor guy trying to learn to water ski. He's
going to have sore arms tomorrow if they are still connected to
his body......!!!
Thanks for a great hide milihage. We really are excited about
getting this FTF..

After a failure earlier today I decided it was worth another visit. The "found" log from Little Squirrel confirmed that I'd not had a good enough look so this time the Wench and Wenchette came along for the trip and to enjoy a picnic tea along with the peace of the late afternoon river.
As we started unpacking our feast in the shelter a good local friend and his partner wandered over to say hello. Almost one hour later he stopped talking and we could have a look for the cache, in the dark
After a decent search by two of us the little terror was spotted from just the right angle and was retrieved with a little persuasion.
Certainly better hidden that I was expecting
Thanks milihage for the challenge and for highlighting this newly developed area that will be very popular, particularly over the warm months.
