Enjoying a walk here today while it is lovely after Dunedin's rain. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache drawp.
We did resist the temptation to go and see what was at the other end of the tunnel, although we were tempted.GK made quick progress finding and signing this one, then we were off to find the next.Thank you for pointing out this feature and thank you for the smiley
Even though my GPS was bouncing, the hint led me straight to the cache. TFTC drawp.
Out in the park after work for a bit of. Wander, after a brief ratch around had the container in hand, cheers
Thanks for the hide.... and the person who posted the photo of the hint. Very helpful
Was up early yesterday hunting mushrooms & didn't even think there could be a cache near by...Thanks for the Cache & the room for abit of Swag

Found it on 2nd look. Read some of the finds and saw that the GPS can be fickle.
What a cool location. I didn't even know there was one of these here!Thank you!
Day 7: Up the WaitakiThe next bit of our journey brings us up the Waitaki on another fine but sometimes blustery day. We started the morning off wandering around Oamaru, and then drove up to visit the reservoirs and towns along the Waitaki. This proved to be yet another productive day of exploring and caching, so thanks for all the fun caches in lovely locations along the way. (End of the cut and paste bit) I was left wondering what weird and wonderful thing I might find here. Well, it is interesting indeed, but as a tourist, I dont think its right for me to go over-explore such spots. I had the right idea for where the cache was, but I had to eliminate the possibilities. Found it tucked away in a nice spot eventually. TFTC!
I'm surprised that one end doesn't have bars. I only went a short distance before refocusing on finding the cache.
Took a wee bit of hunting but managed to locate the cache. Also found another wee tube with a log in it. Which i have now placed in the original cache. Tftc
A clever hide and we were thankful for a hint, which once we'd interpreted correctly, narrowed down the search area and led us to the hide.
Fortunately it was nice and dry today.

During my stay in Oamaru I found this cache. Thank you for showing me this secret place in the gardens. Greetings from Switzerland
About to give up when my partner found it. Don't know what part of the hiding spot was the "base" but we found it nevertheless. TFTC
Has there been too much rain and washed poor cachey out or was it getting to dark?
Staying on the outskirts of Oamaru for a bit of R&R and we came into Oamaru for brunch and to explore a bit before heading home. Had an awesome time exploring Steampunk HQ before coming to the gardens for a leisurely walk in the sun still lots of beautiful plants in bloom and even spotted a couple of daffodils.
Was here exactly 3 weeks ago so thanks for replacing and yay finally got to sign the (new) log and escape to the other side with Peteslookin haha

I see what you mean about not searching after rain! After I spotted the SPOR I knew I was in the right place. TFTC!
Couldnt find it my son was getting over it so couldnt hang around looking for long
If the original hiding place was behind either the loose stone in the face or the one at the top of the tunnel entrance it is now missing. Otherwise I’m looking in the wrong place
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our 4 day trip to Oamaru and environs. Today we are planning on finding some caches around the gardens as well as walking the Reservoir tracks.
A good name for the cache! Took a bit to find with all the leaves to fossick through, and the cache was well hidden. Luckily SW spotted the cloaking item and I retrieved. TFTC.

#18265. I directed Troodles to where search (based on the hint). She had no luck, so I had to go up and search too. I moved a covering object and Troodles grabbed the cache. TFTC.
Returned to Omaru after 8 years and boy how many more caches!
Made a quick grab here on to the next.

On our holiday in New Zealand we found this cache. Thank you very much. Greetz from Holland.
An extra day to the weekend meant time was available to get out of town and do some caches in Oamaru with Frame.
We decided there was time to find the other traditionals in the gardens (such a lovely spot to walk around). An interesting spot. Was this used for drainage? Cache found. All good here. Tftc

What a beautiful day to spend caching in Oamaru with Kerynz. There was a jazz festival on so there was a lot going on down by the waterfront.
Quick and easy find when the meaning of the cache name was pointed out by P. TFTC.

After finding scraps of the log book 11 months ago it was nice to return and find a freshly replaced cache (that had replaced the replacement of the one that I reported missing) awaiting me.
