Wednesday 30 August 2017 - another glorious Winter's day in the low 20s finding 4 caches (2 EarthCaches & 1 trad in Newcastle, 1 trad at Caves Beach Swansea). Unfortunately the hide tides meant that we could not complete 3 Earthcaches - 2 in Newcastle and one at Caves Beach.
It was a quick walk up the steep slope after completing the EC nearby. Unfortunately the cache could not be found. Maybe some other time.

A very quick find with my neice today. Walked in from the dunes and using the hint made a quick find tftc

Thanks a lot for all of Aussie caches! I must say that Australia is really beautiful and one of the best country for holiday! Me and my girlfriend enjoyed 52 days long travelling (from Brisbane to Brisbane via Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Gold Coast), sleeping in our car and of course geocaching here!
Greetings from the Czech Republic/Europe! I would like to invite all australian geocachers to Czechia, we have got many excellent caches on amazing places too!

Here until Monday and brought some travel bugs, so hopefully will come back and find it
Found it finally, since the hate was closed I took the path up from the beach. TFTC
Found it, took the four of us a while. Not where we expected. Took the travel bug, going to take it on an international adventure...
DNF spent way longer looking for it than we should have (over an hour) with no results. Did get to watch a pod of dolphins jumping in the waves though!
Got a lovely view of dolphins jumping from the waves but spent way too long looking and no luck
Bit of a wander around trying to work out how to get to it! (Should have read everything first!) Once at GZ a quick look and cache was in hand. Beautiful spot on a calm autumn afternoon. TFTC
Day 4 of our trip to the NSW Central Coast. Out sightseeing with Geofriend and geoson and we picked up a couple more caches with them while seeing the sights. After finding Pasha, we headed out to the point then Mr Pooky and Geofriends son headed off via the sand dunes to get this cache. Mrs Pooky and Geofriend walked back to the locked gates. We could see Mr Pooky and Geofriends son bobbing up and down amongst the bushes and it seemed like it was taking forever to find the cache. We finally called them back for lunch and just as they were about to leave Mr Pooky made the find. It took a lot longer than it should have to find this cache. TFTC and bringing us to another great spot.

A nice afternoon in Newcastle, on the way back from Hunter Valley to Sydney.
On this Anzac day we strolled along the water and every once in a while we were treated with view of low flying fighter jets.
At first I was discouraged by the close gates for the last few meters to the cache. However it is easy to walk via the sand dunes to the cache. Ground zero was the scene for an interesting cache and a lifeboat.
Thanks for the cache.

Tftc. An extremely windy day and I was looking for a small container in the sand, let's say it wasn't my most enjoyable find. Lol! The road was blocked off so we had to be a little sneaky! Cheers for maintaining such a good cache.
This Monday it was easier to find this hideout. Yesterday there was a big event and many Muggle were there. Thanks for the hiding and the hint. [^]
I was at Nobby's Beach for a charity run out along the breakwater and back, and visited this cache while waiting for the event to begin. Many thanks for the hide in this interesting spot.
Great spot here. Never knew this sculpture existed. After a beautiful sunrise over Nobby's and a stroll on the breakwall we grabbed this one quickly. TFTC!
Yeahhh gotcha searched and found togehter with my better half...TFTC and Greetings from Austria
Was here last week and forgot to log find.
Also forgot my pen, so have attached a photo as proof .
Thanks for making me climb up the dunes to this memorial.

About 3m away from where I thought it was going to be. Fun location for a cache. Thanks
What a great sculpture.
Such a pity 90% of people don't even see it
Found with the Pamrys.

Went for a nice walk today, saw a dolphin and a seal, and a few big ships. On the way back we went looking for this one. Thanks for hiding!
It took me a while to find this cache. First, I was unsure about the correct way to get to the cache location at all, since the road to the lighthouse was closed with a fence. I therefore decided to walk via the dunes. Close to the sculpture, I had to look around for a while and almost gave up, when in the end I finally spotted the plastic box. The content was quite sandy and the logbook consisted of lots of loose paper. Not so nice. Maybe some maintenance would be good here. Still, thanks for pointing out the Lifeboat sculpture.

CO may want to check this as the container was open and contents spread. I replaced all as it should be.
Found pretty quickly while out on a Pokemon hunt, container was a little exposed, so covered a bit more. TFTC
Looks more like a Viking ship than a life boat, great hide with a lovely sunset view, TFTC
Nice easy cache!!! Although it's a bit cramped now as there were a couple of foreign bugs that came with me!!! 4 TBs in.
Reperio at 0920.
On a day where I happened to find myself down at Nobbys's, I decided to go for a walk along the breakwall and visit this monument! This is the first time I've actually seen it in the flesh...well...I mean metal! I expected a few muggles out and about as the day was beautiful, but as it was I had the area to myself. I wandered over to the cache and found it in a spot I wasn't quite expecting, but the coords were bang on so it was quickly found. Great to see a cache highlighting this structure and the people who it is dedicated.
Gratias Chippyroo.

Found it quickly after I worked out the difference (or not) between a track, a road and a path. TFTC Chippyroo
TFTC visiting from Coffs Harbour to this beautiful area for a couple of days.
Beautiful scenery almost gave up as there were quite a lot of muggles and two year old took off into the dunes. But a lot of patience and eventually found it
Found while doing some of the havoc people choice awards nominated caches. Thanks for a great view and for the cache.
Took us a while as the gps took us about 5 metres away from the actual cache tftc
Didn't take too much searching before i spotted the hide.
Wasn't sure if i was meant to go past the gate as it was closed and the sign said no unauthorized entry, but i went anyway.
Good to tick this one off, i have been gonna look for this for ages but the sign on the gate has always deterred me.
decided to brave it today.

I love this spot. Such a great view too. Thanks for the hint - fortunately I was able to follow previous tracks in the sand too!
3.5 weeks in Australia, 3300 km on the road and also many by foot, lots of animals - some nice (kangaroos, koalas!) and some less nice (spiders, snakes) -, frosty nights in the Blue Moutains, heavy storms and rainfall, and finally lovely sunny weather at the Gold Coast, many nice and relaxed people: this was a really great holiday in Australia! And not to forget: 80 caches found
From the Hunter Valley, we drove to Newcastle. After dinner, we went to Nobby's Head. The lifeboat is also impressive during night. However, the cache is a bit more trickier then... Thanks for showing us!

Honeymoon in Down Under - what a great experience an wonderful time! We were able to travel from Melbourne to Brisbane (including Great Ocean Road, Bendigo, Echuca, Canberra, Blue Mountains, Sydney, Hunter Valley, Port Macquarie and many other great places!) 3,5 weeks in total. Of course we also had to search for some containers and Eclipse-boxes !
WE went to Nobbies Head after sunset, so it was quit dark. Therefore the search took a bit longer, also because we were afraid of searching with our hands - who knows which animals are living here? But after a while a had the box in my hands.

A trip to town was in order today as Mrs C needed some new shoes. With a little time to spare and the thought of a nice walk, this one fitted the bill.
We really made this much harder for ourselves as we totally missed the high road and took the low road which meant a trek around the lighthouse and a slog up the dunes to GZ. It was then we saw where we had gone wrong. Doh moment. With excellent coords we soon had the cache which is in good condition. TNLNSL. Thanks Chippyroo.
Interesting sculpture, a bit like the bow and stern of a viking longboat.

Good to see they've done a bit of work here.
We've now got a cafe at the top. ..yay. Very progressive!
Left aTB...worth the walk and finding it

#Breakfree2016 was happening in the port so there was a pretty buoyant mood about the place. The geogirlfriend and I stole away for a bit to check out the views from the lighthouse, have a dip in the water and get this cache. TFTC!
Up here for the protest against the coal port, thought I'd better find a cache as well. Tftc tnln
Lots of muggles around on a Sunday. Great spot for a cache ,TFTC.
Picked up the trackable.
