As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

An early start to the morning to do some abseiling training on the nearby cliffs. Swellerfungus had searched for this one before with no luck so he started searching the same place he had looked before. I followed the GPS and with reference to the clue had the cache in hand in no time. TFTC.

29-Mar-15
After an early morning confidence building session with some rock climbing and abseiling gear in company with Swellerfungus and and SeffnJarah, I stopped by to make the find. Specifically, mwhilst I wandered aimlessly with no idea, Fungus and Seff directed me where to go.

Always great to clean up a previous DNF. Many thanks, LBR2204.

I payed a visit today to celebrate Founders Day. It is not there. Must have been washed away due to Marcia. I did not bring a spare container. I am so busy for the next couple of weeks and I may not be able to visit until the holidays.

Sorry I haven't been able to move my geocache as I was away on a Scouting trip in South Australia. I will fix it as soon as I can.

Hi

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of " Mary MacKillop - Kangaroo Point" http://coord.info/GC4E9PY and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachesaturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Couldn't find

I don't like to be critical of cache hides. I come from a place where they are few and far between, so I value all opportunities for a find. I believe this cache needs to be re-thought out. There are a number of other locations that would be good for a hide, within 10 meters of this location, but this location, with this container... I'm amazed that it's lasted as long as it has. I found it almost in the open. I'd looked at it a few times and disregarded it as a piece of rubbish. When I did eventually pick it up, it was actually for the purpose of tossing it in the nearby bin. It amazed me when I noticed the piece of paper inside and realised that it was the cache.

I'm really sorry to say, this has been one of my most disappointing finds. I would love to see this cache redesigned. The cache page is fantastic and provides a lot of information. The location is beautiful with amazing views day and night. Thank you for bringing me here. I hope my message doesn't upset. I just feel that something needs to change.

21-Aug-14
Just some editing of the page as been completed.

We scouted out the area pretty thoroughly but no sign of the cache.

19-Jul-14

19-Jul-14
Nice easy find whilst enjoying the sun

13-Jul-14
Owl was staying nearby and had breakfast with her family just a short distance away. Managed to miss the plaque, but didn't miss the cache, which was in the open. Owl covered it over with some natural cammo and stayed to admire the view.

Noice one! Forgot my pen!

03-Jul-14
All the years that I have been in Brisbane and zoomed along the bottom of these cliffs, I have never walked along the top of these cliffs - today was the day - and a perfect winters day too.

There were people about, but not in the vicinity of GZ which surprised me being lunchtime and all - so this allowed me to make a quick find, sign and return.

Thanks LBR2204

30-Jun-14
After walking through South Bank and along the riverside I came up here for a fantastic view back over the city and river. Simple but effective hiding place. TFTC.

28-Jun-14
Even at 2 in the morning I had to wait for passing cars and pedestrians so I'm glad I wasn't looking for this during the day. A quick find once the coast was clear. Thanks.

26-Jun-14
Seriously, how long this container has been here. What? 6 months! Geocaching is amazing. Surprise how muggles do not know what we are doing. Tftc

25-Jun-14
Lunch time stroll with ARF8. Found by HeadARF

22-Jun-14
I went down to check on the geocache. All is in good order. I have also made some changes to the page. First the name was changed from Be Prepared!!! to Be Prepared - Scout Place because it now has a sister geocache in Jamboree Heights (link is in the cache description) as well as I added the worldwide scouting emblem as the background image.

Today marks a special day for me: it is the 1000th day since I started caching [^] I collected a couple of caches this morning to mark the occasion, but tonight I was at Kangaroo Point for some rock climbing, and figured I'd give this one another shot. Both previous times I have wanted to look for it, it was missing Sad but I saw that it has recently been replaced, and made my move tonight. Fortunately there were few muggles at 8.30pm, and I could pick my time, and after a lot of scrabbling in the leaves I found the prize [^] Yay!!! TFTC, LBR2204. Glad to make this one a smilie at last.

22-May-14
Found it! Thanks, no pen so will have to come back.

21-May-14
Nice and easy . TFTC

19-May-14
Found it! Had no pen to sign but placed a star

17-May-14
We met up with Crew153, Aussie Liahona, Nursey Julie and a few others at these co-ordinates for a group assault on the Bridge to Bridge mystery cache. With a number of us looking it didn't take long to find this one. TFTC LBR2204

17-May-14
We enjoy caching the best when a bunch of us get together for the chase. Mrs Just a Trifle decided she needed a bit of exercise so decided to join the group to do the Bridge to Bridge cache and any others to be found along the walk. Having arrived a little after the group, it didn't take long to catch up to continue the journey. This is a terrific place to visit, explore the various artwork in the area, marvel at the views and those brave enough to tackle the cliff face. Thank you for having placed the cache LBR2204

17-May-14
What a disaster. I just realized today (June 7th) that I forgot to log this cache which was found and log signed back on May 17th. Thank goodness I realized while perusing the geocaching map not far from the Flash Mob Event we attended today. Thanks for the cache LBR2204. The views of the city are so great from along here and it was great to see the plaque for the Scouts. We can never be aware of too much, and nice to have a reminder about Be(ing) Prepared!!! [^][^]

17-May-14
Grabbed this one while wondering around the area doing the bridge to bridge cache. Surprisingly quiet for a few minutes at the GZ which enabled us to easily find the cache and sign the log. Thanks to the CO for replacing the cache. TFTC

16-May-14
First find!

16-May-14
Nice find.

14-May-14

12-May-14
Had a couple of hours to spare today after dropping off geoson to Uni. Had tried to find this one before only for it to go missing. No problem finding it today! TFTC

10-May-14
I am prepared to say that the cache has been replaced and have fun scouting around for this cache. Smile

04-May-14
I will be heading to the city and surrounding areas on Saturday instead of Sunday because of the church across the road. Hopefully there will not be too many muggles around. I have also got a tupperware container instead of a spread jar so hopefully it won't be mistaken for rubbish. Thanks. Hope you all will have fun scouting for this cache soon. Smile

30-Apr-14
Could not find it.

25-Apr-14
Yes, it does appear to be missing. I couldn't replace the cache because I ran out of time because I had a busy day at marches in Gaythorne and the city. I will replace it ASAP. I will post updates when information comes to hand and I hope this cache will be up and running again soon. Sorry for any inconvenience.

22-Apr-14
Looks like the cache may have scouted away. This will be disabled until ANZAC Day when I visit it after the march.

20-Apr-14
Looked and looked. Did not find.

20-Apr-14
Spent a bit of time searching the area trying to avoid muggles. A few others were searching as well but alas no cache was to be found

19-Apr-14
Had a good look for this one in the bushes but DNF

I was out on the geocycle around town today before a puzzle catch up this afternoon. I managed to pedal about 30km today and found a few caches along the way.

I can imagine that this one would be difficult to find at times. Fortunately at was reasonably quiet around GZ for me when I found it.

13-Mar-14
The stream of muggles was longer than my patience tonight. Never thought this place would be so busy at 9 pm on a weeknight.

I will return soon.

It took me well over half an hour to get this cache, and not much of that was spent looking! On arrival, it was clear of muggles, so I started poking around with my foot, hoping to make a quick find and not get a syringe in my toe. Halfway through this process, a bus arrived and disgorged a large and enthusiastic bunch of tourists, who swarmed the area taking photos for quote some time. Tired of waiting, I called a friend for a more precise hint, hoping to nab it under their very noses, but before I could put this plan into action, a ute rolls up, parks on the curb, hits his four-way flashers and the driver pops out with a sheaf of papers. He wanders up and down for 10 minutes, RIGHT past GZ, obviously trying to determine something, and eventually gets out a pair of star pickets and hammers them loudly into the ground a short distance off, attaching a 'Proposed Development' sign. The entire procedure took in excess of 20 minutes, during which time I could do naught but sir and wait and huff. To cap it all, when he finally left, yet another bus load of tourists arrives!!! At least there's a good view nearby... TFTC, LBR2204. =^.^=

05-Mar-14
Quick and easy find at night. Had Blossom with me who spotted the cache first. The view from here is really spectacular with the city all lit up. TFTC

04-Mar-14
We returned - this time armed with a pen - just in time for a glorious sunset. Beautiful spot, TFTC!!!

Out today on a 'secret' day off planing a dedication cache for IolantheK (shhhh) with my fellow conspirators teamdfl, barbbowman & fasted 59 Twisted
The cache is dry and in good condition [^], although in this position I have my doubts that it will last Sad

another early morning (and my early i meant 4am) start to the day
and again we head into the city
FastEd and I want to turn it into all smiles before the G20

after a quick coffee break (and some shelter from the rain) at nearby cafe this was our next stop

rain started again as we approached so we hid in the nearby shelter
i could see what i thought was the cache
FastEd went to retrieve
as it turns out i was right about the container but not the colour Smile

03-Mar-14
In the city cleaning up this area. After a quick coffee break, it was back into it. As we arrived at GZ it started pouring again, so we retreated to the shelter.

With a break in the rain, it was time for the grab. Not what I was expecting. Log signed, cache replaced.

Lovely quick cache, after the catch I sat and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over Kangaroo Point Wow what a beautiful city!! All we need is more art on the walls and we would be up there with Melbourne!!! Heaps of joggers with their dogs and friends, and mummakazz doing her creative bit getting fit! Have a great day everyone

What a nice view. The Skyline of Brisbane seen from here is really beautiful.

Nice quick find at midnight. Had to make polite conversation with heavily intoxicated muggles to clear the GZ, but we had a quiet moment to get the log signed eventually. TFTC.

16-Feb-14
I went down or should I say up. Found out that there are some logs on this page that are not in the log in the GC. I have deleted all those logs. Some I am not sure about because the photo didn't come out well but if I have deleted your log and you feel you haven't violated any of the listing requirements {see http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging} please contact me and if I reply and approve then you can re add your log. All good with the cache.

10-Feb-14
I was driving past the area today and decided to clear this little mark off my map.

I pulled up close by and wandered over to check it out but I couldn't see the cache. It was then that the busses disgorged masses of tourists who were swarming over the place.

I resorted to a PAF call to narrow down the search and to find out the size of the container.

I used the cover of the phone call for another search and spotted the cache. Very brave putting a cache here. I hope it lasts.

TFTC.

09-Feb-14
Thought I'd hop into the the city for some urban caches. Great view from up here and found the cache in between muggles walking by. Tftc

07-Feb-14
I nice quick find this afternoon as I was homebound from work. I managed to get a park close by and took a short stroll to GZ. Once there, I spotted the container after a very brief search and pulled it out for business... I took a seat while etching my name, then had to hold onto the container for a while as a heard of school kids passed by, having abseiled down on the cliffs... Hoards of them... Surprised

With the coast clear, I tucked the container back and added a little loose camo to keep it safe... [^]

Cheers LBR2204.

I had a rare opportunity last night for some caching time with old mate rosenstingel. So I left Mrs Meerkat at home with a chick flick and headed out to gecko territory.

This was a quick find. We were quite surprised by the container and location. Bit worried this one may not last very long. TFTC!

A beautiful view for my 400th cache! Released a tb that has traveled with me almost 8000km but seeing as its mission is to travel Aus what better time to release it than the Aus day weekend! Thanks for the cache Smile

Only had time to do a quick scour - knew what the recepticle should be, but there was no cache to be found. Couldnt stop too long, the TV crews were setting up too.

It took me for a while to find the cache and when I found it then my thought was telling me that this cache will be safe n hide because it will be mugged or it may break easily?? Good luck. TFTH

Been down after a unsuccessful caching trip to Redland City and it is OK. Wasn't a thorough check though because it was getting late and i needed to get to the Northside before dark.

Cache find #1143. Had been to the Lifeline bookfest, and dropped by to find a cache for the day to fill in our 'finds by date' geo calendar. Nice easy find. TFTC.
