Went to replace this today but decided against it. The foliage that used to disguise the cache has all died back, and there is no logical place to put the container that will preclude it from being muggled. Looks like the second shooter has come into play for this one.
Looks like it has gone walkies yet again, will have to get out to have a looksee
Hooray, hooray. after visiting this one for the past 6 Tuesdays (only day I'm in the area) and I finally located it today. Thanks to the CO for his involvement in checking over the weekend and determining that it was in fact not there. All good now. Finally can move on to another cache. TFTC
Had a look and it was gone. Have replaced with new container and logbook.
After a lovely lunch with Geohubby and Miss 13, this was a nice quick find. I discovered an unexpected travel bug and picked it up to come on some caching adventures. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Working towards a mini milestone this weekend whilst catching up with some friends
Today's adventures had me visiting North Lakes and surrounds, in total adding 24 smilies to my overall collection.
This was my second stop at North Lakes as I was early for my brunch date

Found this one super easy saw it from a few meters away but it blended in well so my eyesight is very sharp today im glad this was a quick find as there is nowhere easy to park. Phew!!! TFTC
Ducked out during lunch with a colleague to find this. Nice quiet area, great for a late arvo picnic I reckon. TFTC
2100 - Spring time in Brisbane means storms and this afternoon was the first one of the season, which is good as it is still only early spring. We didn't get much rain in this area of Brisbane but the rain was welcome and the lightning that flashed around in the sky as I was walking to and from the geomobile was nice. I found the cache in about the second place I looked, a nicely hidden one it was. I found it in good condition at 6:14pm. Thanks for placing this cache here Slow Puncture.
In town for the day waiting for my car to get fixed. This helped me bide my time. TFTC
I was going to introduce a work colleague to geo-caching today, but he pulled out.
This was my first find for the day. When i arrived at gz, there were some council workers gardening right where i needed to be.
Patience was needed while i waited for them to leave.
Luckily i didn't need to wait long.
Being not the tallest person, i was hoping it wasn't placed out of reach.
I stood back and looked at obvious spots and soon had the cache located.
Phew, i can reach that.
Signed my name and soon had cache replaced as found.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Peaceful

The first cache for June I was in the area and decided to grab a cache in the early morning.
I parked up somewhere nearby and strutted to GZ. Hmmm pretty dark here even at 6am. My smartphone led me to a likely GZ. Hmmm nothing. Decided to check another GZ... and bingo. I found the cache safe and sound.
I signed the log and returned the beast to its home. A nice little place to visit. TFTC Slow Puncture

The SPs were out today on a maintenance run.
Visited with some TBs whilst we attended to the cache.
This one received a new logbook (only one space left - that was good timing on our part) and was LOWERED (again). Tall people please note, not enough is lucky enough to have your reach. [8)]
PLEASE replace the cache at a reasonable level. That means NOT at the top.

Out for some night time caching in North Lakes and enjoyed a nice find and some star gazing. Left a US penny for the next visitor
Crikey the second grassy knoll in a row. It **is** a conspiracy. [:o)]
The co-ords for this one took me straight to GZ. Just tall enough for this one.
Nice to read the theory behind the name of this one as I am writing my log.

17/4/16 Out caching today with Marina25 and aiming to get at least 25 caches. I am working on a personal challenge to have 1000 caches by my second geo-anniversary which is the day after Anzac day. We started the day at about 9:30am and finished just after 2pm and specifically chose as many caches close together and easy to grab as we could.
We parked the car as close as we could and made the short walk in. We had read some previous logs and had a fair idea of where to look. We began the search and I took a look around and soon spotted the cache. All is good here. TFT Slow Puncture

Todays cheeky lunchtime cache took me to another park I've often passed but never stopped at. Cache was fairly ant free compared to the locations I looked at before finding it. I replaced it as found but it was on the reachy side for me (but no climbing involved), the magnets didn't seem strong enough for it to remain secure in a lower location. TFTC
As there have been a number of cachers logging on this location with the same issue:
TALLER cachers please note: Terrain 1.5 means those less height-advantaged would really appreciate it it if you would be so thoughtful as to NOT turn it into a terrain 3.0 when you are replacing the cache...
Thank you.

Thank you.
Had taken the kiddies to a nearby play centre so grabbed this on the way home.
Seems one man's T1.5 may be another's T3 especially when they're a shorty. But an easy find and log signed. TFTC.

I was heading for another cache and noticed that I was driving past this one so I stopped to check it out.
Luckily the area was clear of muggles so that I could search without interruption.
I walked around to see if I could spot the cache and made a couple of climbs to check a few spots and then I spotted the cache. I had no problems recovering it.

Quick! Stop for 5 mins for a find. The grass was greener when I was at the Knoll, but it was a similar beautiful day. Thanks for the cache
First one for today. Geodaughter found it easily but geomum had to retrieve because geodaughter was too short! TFTC TNLNSL ☺ ☺ ☺
I was determined to get this one. Had to stretch a bit to reach it but I got it and returned as found!!
TFTC!!

We were in the area having the geomobile serviced so we took a walk to a nearby cache to while the time away. The cache was easily found and with our name on the log, we headed back to the shops for some refreshments.

Smilie #2362
Headed north to raid some caches & bring a little more sunshine to our map via conquered smilies!
This was our second for the day.
Thought we were headed to GZ but found ourselves in a 'gated' community on the wrong side of a locked pedestrian gate just 24 metres from the cache!
About face & shortly after we were parked roadside & ready to crack a smile!
Closed in on GZ & after a short search the cache was located.
Signed & replaced as found.
All good here!

A relatively quick find with the cache in good order. Definitely a good spot to assassinate your favourite head of state. Nyuk nyuk nyuk.
First cache of the night!
It's going to be a great night for caches with Jessebangarang.
Thanks for neat hiding place. My height definitely has an advantage over Jessebangarang!!!!

TFTC found a small pen on the ground which I think belongs in the cache so returned it ..
My daughter had to bring her car up to North Lakes today for repairs and I followed to drive her home until the car was fixed. On arriving she was told they should be able to fix it today which meant that we had some time to kill until it was done. Nothing beats caching when you need to kill some time so off we went.
This was our first one and I'm very glad she was with me as I'm not sure I would have been able to get it on my own.

After less than a minute or two I was able to hone in on the cache. All is in good order here. Thanks slow puncture.
Had some time to kill in the area and what better way to spend it? The 462 million ants that had made the cache their home were not too impressed with my retrieval but I was happy to sign the log. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Team LJCC.
I was caching over the other side of town this morning and decided I needed a Beefy's pie for lunch. Why not spend some time doing those newer North Lakes caches while I'm there.
This was my first one after eating my delicious pie. I walked up to the structure and spent a bit of time looking around and found it in the obvious spot.
Thanks Slow Puncture for the cache.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 31, Redcliffe.
Today is hot, but not quite as humid. I've loaded up my 4WD with GeoSchnauzers, ice water and geocaching kit. I'm off for a day of park and grabs, with the odd short walk for the GeoSchnauzers. I'm heading towards Mango Hill and North Lakes, because from what I saw yesterday when I took my sister and my neice to Costco, the area looks littered with parks and cycle paths, and landscaped creeks. The map shows it littered with geocaches as well.
No 8 of 14 today. Thanks, Slow Puncture (LJCC). Good one. I was lucky, the cache was visible when it shouldn't have been. It is no longer visible. Pleasant spot, except for the noise of the GeoSchnauzers barking at the ibises. Ibii?

Found it. My height did make collecting this a challenge. The geochild was used to help get extra height when placing the cache back. Tftc.
Was in the area, so decided to see if there was a cache to find and this one showed up. Headed over to GZ and took some searching before finding this one. Glad to find it, there are a surprising number of mosquitos for this location!
Thanks Slow Puncture
Thanks Slow Puncture
Walking along to GZ busy watching the gps when I arrived I looked around and spotted a toad - almost enough to put me off and send me running. Knowing I was looking for an eclipse tin had a good idea of where to look and quickly had the cache in hand. Tftc
Night Caching in North Lakes tonight; this was 1 of 4.
Cache was quick to find and sign. Thought the grassy knoll was a cool place to chill out!
