"tee tree base" - I wish this hint would have helped us better to seperate the ONE tee tree from the hundreds of others... no success in the end, sorry TFTC
Found it. Two in a row. Rhs of track. Heading up hill. 1.5 from track. Took a little search but soon located it.
Can probably tell from my log it's been quite a walk from the Doc hut and I am all written out. The views have been great though.

DNF very overgrown and see cache hasn’t been found in a while might be buried
Decided to get these caches while we were in the area. Nice walk up to the top. Someone had written on some of the orange markers with sayings and even a joke. Wonder if they go all the way out to Cape Brett.
Nice view and a quick and easy find.

We started our day trip around 12 noon to look for the caches here. The sun was burning in the sky and the trip was more exhausting than expected. Up and down and down and up again ... We were able to find 10 containers, three could not be found despite a long search - too bad.
We were amazed by the beautiful nature and the impressive views. It took us a little over 8 hours to hike.
Here I am looking for a longer time, but at least i get it.

Stunning view yet again, took about 5 mins to find the cache, very wet log book so added a replacement log to this one too. TFTC
First find on the way to Cape Brett this morning. I parked on Rawhiti Road so had a bit of road walking as a warm up before starting the loooong uphill.
This was a nice stop for a rest and to find a cache. The light is very slimy and soggy, I just about managed to sign it.

On our way back from Cape Brett to Oke Bay this was our final stop. The box was a quick find but it's soaking wet inside, therefore I'm providing a photo. One of the toys gave me quite a start after opening the box. Thanks for hiding!
Can see that theres not going to be much in the way of views today, but a good excuse for a stop! TFTC
Awesome to be out even thou it was slow and steady up up and wow the view . Another rest stop while heading up to the Kauri grove junction and back.
#660 I had two muggle family members with me and was able to locate the cache and sign the log while they enjoyed the view. Stunning views on a stunning day. TFTC(overlooking the bay).
Great view on a perfect spring day. Even a local guide to encourage and inspire us on the climb. Thanks William for a great day out
Watched the hut space for Cape Brett for a while but every time we decided to go no places where available. Some beds opened up the day before and we booked ourselves in. Even got a great place to stay at Julies Backpacker for Friday night, which is very close to the trail start.
We woke up around 5am with a major thunderstorm coming down. Oh boy,.. after getting up we started watching from the window buckets of water coming down with gales throwing over the garden furniture. Unbelievable but ~10am suddenly the sun came out and we made ourselves ready. Started on the muddy trail with no rain at all until we arrived at the hut. Made a quick break for some photos at GZ and for the geocache. TFTC

Vom menschenleeren Traumstrand Oke Bay ging's hoch, um bei bestem Wetter eine kleine Wanderung mit einigen Caches zu machen. Was will man mehr? Genau! Am Schluss gab es eine erfrischende Abkühlung in der Ole Bay. Wow!! Perfekt!
This is when the real work starts, the legs are telling me to stop walking and the heart is pounding! I think I am awake now. The pack sits comfortably on my back, the GPS says its 8.somthing km in a straight line to the Cape Brett light house, but this track is not straight, and its going to over 16 km. Thankfully another quick hide, and I am on my way with tail end Charlie as my walking buddy. Amazing views over to Urupukapuka Island, hard work, but loving it
Nice quick and easy cache to start off the long hike with... all the way to the lighthouse and back.
Another quick stop & peep while running past... this one was still nice & dry & oh what lovely views today!!
Lovely view from here but even better to have seen the bay from the top of the ridge. Our niece, Kezia, found this one so she and James also signed the log. All in good condition, dry and well hidden.
Wow! What a great start for this track out to Cape Brett. Fantastic view. Thanks for making me stop here.
A quick stop on the way downhill. Even in the rain & overcast, the views are lovely. TFTC
The view from there is beautiful. But I also learned something about NZ-plants the one mentioned in the hint we do not have in Germany
thanks for the cache
