This one is MIA so therefore now being torpedoed. Thanks to all who have logged and found this cache.
Was driving to a pre determined location but managed to stop and grab this one on the way through. Love the photo you have used on this cache. Unfortunately, although there was a tanker in dock, visibility was poor so no photos today.
Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

I didn't know ship spotting was a thing, but I suppose it's no different to plane and train spotting. I'll stick to the caches though I think.
One other person near GZ but they were focusing on something in the other direction while I ducked around and made the find. An interesting container that stood out a bit in this environment but I could imagine it blending in very well in certain places. Thanks for the cache Darth Briji.

Found with BeardedHill and perricheeseburger! Great hide. Also log book is very full and fragile. TFTC
Not a real pleasant smell in the air in this area, for some reason I always think my cars engine is overheating when I drive past here. Anyway, it was a quick find although the container wasn’t really hidden in any way.TFTC
Easy find once I overcame the obstacles to get to it from the road. Access via the walking track from the carpark a bit further up might have been easier. But who wants that way? Great cache.
Trying very hard to get at least 1 cache a day. See how long i can keep the streak going. Working on this sideof Geelong this arvo. Thought i would grab this ine while i was near. Nice quick find.

Another day of caching in Geelong and another puzzle series.
A quick drve by after a few harder challenges and just a few muggles around here today.
Thanks for the cache Darth Briji,

We were in the area and decided to stop off to do this cache - nice location and cache. Fav point alloc. Thanks to Darth Briji for placeing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Doctor Owl and sushilord are off on a long weekend trip to find some quality caches in Mexico. We suffered the laughs, joys and frustrations normally experienced on a caching trip and bonded as geobrother and geosister.
A quick find, thanks Ship Spotting Dude.

It was easier to spot the huge container ship berthed in the harbour than it was to find this cache. It was also hard to open, not least due to the large number of unidentified bug/spider/whatever eggs that have infested the outside of the cache. But a smilie is a smilie!
Went for a short walk and headed in to find this cache. Easy enough if you circle the feature and approach fron the right angle. Found the log to sign inside the camo and all was good with the cache. Actually spotted a couple of working ships not far away. Put all back before leaving. Thanks to Darth Briji for this cache placement.
The best time to be caching in this hot weather is in the evening and today was no exception. Arkbell80 and I came down to Geelong to chip away at the edge of our furthest finds from home. This was a nice easy find.
TFTC!!!

Out and about with Bazinga01 on a night cache run. This was an easy find with an interesting container. TFTC
Found with teamashy. Got to GZ and checked out something that looked interesting. Found the cache. ery clever!! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for their efforts.
Plans were made to head to another Melbourne Mega Event with Rapidlywild. We spent many a late night in the months leading up the event solving the chosen puzzles and mapping our journey around the area.
Our last day in the region, well 1/2 a day, so we spent the time collecting a few more as we worked our way to the airport. Our trek took us along the waterfront firstly to collect some challenges and others nearby. A quick grab.

Mega Weekend was apon us so off to Victoria we go... Plans have been in place for a while now to attend the Mega in Anglesea with the FurfacesLL ladies. So we did a heap of puzzle solving in the lead up in preperation as we just never know where we will end up on these adventures.
Flew out of Canberra Friday lunchtime and came home on Sunday afternoon, collected many caches across the weekend and ran into quite a few cachers, including some local Canberra ones
Our final day in Geelong before heading home and we had a couple caches we wanted to clear out before leaving. This one was on the way to the challenge caches so we did the respectful thing, stopped, located, signed and off we went again, like all geocachers would
Thanks for the cache Darth Briji [^]

Well by now we were late for the Meet and Greet at Mega so we will just do a couple more, wow this was worth stopping for and it gets a fav point from me. TFTC
Driving along and the GPS beeps, this one was not on our radar but we are so glad we stopped. Great cache. TFTC
caching with Snickersallan and we randomly picking up different caches around the area. Thanks Darth Briji.
Now I know why there wasn't a hint for this one, found easily with joojoo57 in this top location. Thanks Darth Briji for the great cache setup

Day 2
great spot climbed the short fence to get to this one.
Starting our caching on the highway going south to Anglesea
On our way to the Surf Coast Mega event with Tankengine and StrangeTrousers, so we made a road trip caching there and back.

Found with Mtrax and Strangetrousers. Nice quick find on our way to Anglesea from Canberra. Yep, there was a giant ship to spot! Thanks DB.
2569 42 of 53 for days 1 & 2 of the Mega weekend with Tankengine & mtrax.
The first day was from Canberra to Holbrook, with only a handful of cache finds. We just wanted to get some distance done before the final drive the following day. We passed a small group of Comanchero bikies on the way down the Hume and didn;t think much of it. However it turns out they were staying that night at the same pub in Holbrook. They were no trouble, but they chatted way into the night & then started again early Friday morning.
Friday was the bug distance day with my first finds in Victoria and then a total of 50 for the day. Some very interesting locations, particularly around Geelong where I have never been before. Friday night we had dinner with the ACT Geocachers at the Anglesea golf club.
The weather so far has been perfect, but the forecast is not so good. Looking forward to my first day of the real Mega events tomorrow.
Great views of the bay from here.
TFTC Darth Briji.

My fifth day of my geocaching holiday. Some of my chosen caching grounds ended up a bust, but I found other places to hunt.
I had found some of the Ship Spotters caches yesterday. When I noticed this was here while cacheing nearby I spun by to find it as well.
Thanks for the cache.

Today we explored Geelong and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find. Took TB and left TB.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Quick walk to gz and soon had this clever camo'd cache in hand. Unfortunantly there were no ships for me to photograph today but I did collect a tb and get a smilie so I'm not complaining! Thanks ship

There were a couple of ships here today, and we did see the little spidey as well! Interesting camo! And there were some pretty shells on the shore too

On a road trip today with sharkiefan to attempt to reach my big milestone.
Needed to use all types of muscle to get this open.

Found with OZHockeyChick on a run to get OHC to 2000 finds. This one was sort of along the way. Tftc
Quick stop on the way to complete some challenge cache.
Didn't admire the view, as the rain started pelting when signing log.
Probably a nice view, but the nearby stench negates that somewhat.

Thanks

No ships today, just one guy at the carpark, checking out the view. A quick find after a short run. Thanks for the hide and the views.
Sent hubby out in the rain with the torch. Didn't want to get my new sneakers wet. Lol! Interesting container. Thanks
It's dark, it's raining, but SueHut and I are out on Monday Night Date Night anyway. Thanks heaps, Darth Briji, for something close enough to a quick "drive by" that I didn't get too wet!
Found by Mary & David at 1530. On such a beautiful afternoon of blue skies and sunshine, the 2 tankers tied up nearby added so much to the log name and theme. Our thanks to Darth Briji.
Wow your ship photos are amazing! There were a couple of big boys berthed here today. Great work on the camo for the cache - thanks for bringing me to a great view
Had a few minutes before a meeting l needed to be at but l had no luck today out here. Weather was crazy as well but some good views of passing ships

Heading to the coast and bypassed thru Geelong for a few smileys.
This was the first.
Nice and easy to park close by.
I was soon looking in a likely spot and bingo.
Nicely done.

A quick trip to Geelong today enable a few caches to be collected.
I parked beside the road, scaled a couple of fences, and found something I wasn't really expecting, but it was the cache. A nicely constructed container, but the camo wasn't impressive as it was lying on it's side.
All good now, unless it's supposed to be set up differently.
A couple of ships were in town today, so photo added.

Out with AutumnTree for the day. This was our last find before heading to school pickup. I've driven down here before (I used to babysit kids at Grammar) but never paid much attention to the bay. It's quite picturesque! Got to see a ship backing in, but forgot about taking photos.
Log is nearly full, which might be just as well. Someone has taken the trouble of writing something not very nice on it, which is a bit strange. They must have even brought their own pen.

MaggieDot and I stopped off to find this last cache for the day before picking up the kids from school. Nice spot to look at, though the strong smell of Shell was not pleasant. Lots of lovely pelicans (which I love) flying and swimming around. Cache was an easy find and had been written in by a muggle (a disparaging comment about the coolness of geocachers LOL. Everyone knows we are the best). So we tucked it further under the foliage. TFTC
Thankfully this one was not on the side of the road, which iPhone originally had me thinking. GeoHubby pointed out the track we should have used. Retraced and soon found the spot.
One ship was docked.
