A trip over the dittecch and I'm in the land of the big white cloud. Yep, Made it to Christchurch and onto Dunedin for a week of caching.DAY Three, (24/10) yep, its the same crew of Bluewattle, Snickersallan, Wollaston and myself touring around town. Today we are doing a series of challenge caches, some solved puzzle caches and a few multis. It's a long drive to Diamond Harbour and Deep Gully Bay before heading over to West Melton and surrounds to get some of the eclipse series. Had a few others on the list as we passed by collecting some of Christchurchs cool caches. There are a few set target caches along the way.The are some amazing areas of Christchurch and I have enjoyed driving around and seeing the fantastic sights, thank you for showing us around. All logs were signed and all caches replaced as found. Thanks for the placements.
Touring around with a lovely group of Aussie geo friends for a few days in Christchurch, picking up some solved puzzles, and selected others on our to-do list. All finds today were in great condition and a credit to the CO's who place and maintain them for the benefit of the geocaching community.Enjoyed this find and a favourite point from me.
Thanks for placing and maintain for our enjoyment Found with Snickersallan, Wollaston and chamadVisiting Christchurch for a few days before heading down to attend Geotora Mega
Outnabout with Chamad, Snickersallan & Bluewattle on my first ever trip across the ditch. After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. TFTC Albert.Bell
We were on the wrong side of the fence, but long arms saved having to walk around. A good spot to stop and enjoy the view after walking up.
Quick grab on way back from bad jelly. Some "swaps" were clearly rubbish so removed them. Logs are a bit of a scrunched up mess in the bottom so I bagged up the most intact booklet so it lasts longer
Great memories of when I use to come here a lot. Didn't take too long to find.
Out walking in the sunshine and trying to find as many caches as possible. This one was quickly found, yay!
A second cache in this spot before a picnic lunch - a lovely day on the Port Hills, accompanied by a muggle friend. Thanks for this cache, Albert.Bell. Lots of cyclists etc around, great to see so many people out & about,
While Viv was out with her daughter exploring caves I decided to drive round the area and grab as many of the challenge caches that we have qualified for.Picked up some other caches too - like this trad which was close to where I had parked for another cache Short stroll to GZ where a quick find was madeTFTC Tim and Viv - ddm
On a weekend caching/hiking adventure. This was an easy find.Just had to wade throigh long grass. TFTC
We spotted where we thought GZ would be and headed straight to it. Luckily we guessed correctly. TFTC
Using photographing the view as a cover to get this cache, as there is an ultrarun going on so lots of muggles around. Tftc
Great spot. Very quiet Monday morning save for the occasional bi-wheeled muggle. Thanks for the cache! Kobe Kenobi, Ollie Vader
Busy location on a Saturday afternoon with hill climbers resting. The log damp but usable; TFTC
Came to tick off a few of the nearby AdLab waypoints, and thought I should get this too, No problems with the find!
TFTC Albert.Bell, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #3802

Views for miles! Thank you - what a fab place to hide a cache. I walked up from Mt Vernon Farm Park to here in about 45 mins making sure not to join the Rāpaki Track highway with bikers and walkers, preferring the narrower quite trails.
Great walk up the valley track. Most muggles taking the paved route. Very hot and busy up here. Stunning views. Thanks.
Geocaching around Christchurch with woolwood9.
We soon had the container found. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!*
Quick search in the long, wet grass.

Found this and celebrated with an apple. Then walked back down Rāpaki for a picnic lunch and 'Power of the dog' movie: a bit heavy but saved by views of the Montana landscape that was actually wonderful Central Otago. A good day. Tftc.
Fourth find for today on a walk/run up Rapaki track. In an attempt to gain altitude for both the virtual reward and the Everest challenge metres this track fitted the bill. I tried to send young master B over to get this one but he was too busy rehydrating. Easy find for me though.
Enjoying the weekend in CHCH to attend the beer festival. Some geocaches collect being in town. TFTC
Team BOP on another crazy mission to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So it's Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission and on our last day we're having a wander around the Port Hills before we head to the airport. We have a lot of caches to choose from today and we're looking to spend some of our freshly acquired favourite points. This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a straight forward placement and a good hint. Cheers Albert.Bell & TFTC

As Auckland Mega has been postponed we decided to do a trip south to Christchurch. Four of us from Team BOP joined up to share a car and accomodation. I always love these weekends as the company is great and makes our days and nights out caching lots of fun. We have done lots of puzzles in preparation and did some long windy roads to get them. Found lots of great caches and thanks to all the COs for the effort that goes into these Please excuse the copied logs and I will try to make some individual notes on as many as I can This sort of trip is where I find the cachly app very valuable. TFTC
With the Mega Covid cancelled this year a part of Team BoP decided to come south and try get all our solved puzzles, and some others along the way. So here we are today being our final day before heading back up North.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

A great reward after my first time riding up the Rapaki Track - what a slog that was for me!
Out with Geomum007 and busy paws to explore the hills. Found the cache and enjoyed the views today. Thanks for the cache Albert Bell.
Out on this sunny afternoon with some fellow cachers. Took a couple of minutes but we were soon signing the log. TFTC.
