Boohoo, I DNF'd this cache two and a half years ago when it turned out to be missing, and finally made it back today to have another go at it, and couldn't find it again today.
Found the only possible hollow in a paperbark tree at GZ, but no green tube or whatever cache above waist high. TFTH JacobsCrew2.
Nope... looked everywhere that I could see but it was at night so that's an instant difficulty increase.
Out with m4yb on another far more important hunt but had some time to kill so grabbed a few caches, I made a quick find here.
Thanks JC2
Thanks JC2

We did find this but my phone won't let me push the right button. Good hide tftc
Nice quick find here signed log and on our way. it was a lovely day for finding a quick couple of caches in betweeen shopping. Thanks JacobsCrew2 looking forward to getting the rest of caches in series.
A quick find today with no muggles around. All must have been in watching the Melbourne Cup
JacobsCrew2 I found your cache Cannington Cannonball Run 3 on 4/11/2014 12:20 pm. This is my find #2175 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape. Thanks for the cache!
After doing a couple of caches in Hilton this morning I got bit by the bug so forced hubby to come out and grab a couple these cannonballs!! Had to knock him out of the way so I could claim the find

After work this afternoon, I headed up towards Cannington to grab some caches before meeting a friend in Willetton. I also dropped Mathew.Dease off at his place and he came with me to grab some. I managed to grab 10 or so smilies on my travels. I can remember coming to this spot a few years ago for another cache in a different location. The hint made for a nice easy find here. I found two caches side by side, so signed the original log and removed the additional cache. TFTC JacobsCrew2
Finally found it after a failed attempt a while ago. We both actually found the original one that went missing the first time in which was on the ground and thus signing it.
Then on closer inspection we found the new one on the ground as well. It may have been blown off from the bad weather a few days ago. We placed both back in the hanging position and hopefully in the same spot when it was last spotted. TFTC Jacobscrew

After searching 5 different trees around the suggested height, I had no luck in finding this one today. I may have better luck next time.
A small search before it started pouring signed the log and put it back on its little hook
Found at 14:30. Been here a few times since placed and totally frustrated that plenty of finds except me! Found and can't believe it was in such clear site... Has it lost some camo? Thanks for the find.
Had a couple of visits here for no joy. Came back today with the geodog Charli and after a short search I spotted the cache. Glad to finally cross this one off the list.
After completing the signing duties we went for a stroll in the park. Charli decided that it would be good idea cross the stream, problem was that it's a lot deeper than it looks. I had to laugh when she ended up submerged in the fast flowing torrent, she made it to the other side and then back again well enough.

Ps. I just realised that I found a new one, I may have been looking before for a missing one :[

Like the rest of this series, this one took a little while to find. My GPS was a bit jumpy and there were many options for a likely GZ I perservered though and just as I was about to give up I spied the little cache TFTC JacobsCrew
In the area to chased a few more Cannonballs. Took a little while but found it in the end.
Thanks JacobsCrew for the cache.
Thanks JacobsCrew for the cache.
I have replaced the cache with a new one as the last one must have gone missing, it is hanging in the trees
I searched in and around about 5 trees in the area, high and low, in the leaves and in the trunks, on the ground in case it had fallen, and I didn't find it.
Hopefully this one is still safe and I'm just blind...
Hopefully this one is still safe and I'm just blind...
We too DNF the tube after an extensive search before the kiddies break up from school
I looked on my GPSr and saw this was along way from any of the other caches I hadn't found in the area. But then I figured, if it doesn't get found this trip, it's unlikely I'll ever return to find it. So, off I rode along pleasantly flat roads to GZ. As soon as I saw trees, I thought, "O oh! I've been here before!!!". Thankfully a hint has been added to the listing which allowed for a quick find. Thanks JacobsCrew.
Generally we've found most of JacobsCrews co-ordinates pretty close to being spot on, but not this one! We were a good 20 minutes here and eventually found it 8 metres from our GZ. And the tube has had a paint job too!
But it's another bison tube hangin' in a tree, (sigh).

[:(!] Went for a bit of a caching run after church and a bit to eat with the geowife, what better way of spending part of the afternoon with such good company, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and then we walked to the cache, with in minutes we had the cache in a matter of minutes.

Decided to brave the heat with iluvtrekking to tackle this series. We enjoyed the mix of hides and locations although the heat almost got the best of us at some of them. A tricky hide, found on a return visit after not finding it earlier in the day. Thanks JacobsCrew
We set off early with richlink this morning to beat the heat, but there was no hope of that and we found the conditions to be quite challenging at times.
All in all we experienced an enjoyable mix of caches today, some coords seemed to be a few meters out and we had to widen our search area while others were spot on.
Thanks for your caches JacobsCrew, despite the heat we had fun.

Our 3rd DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 9:18:00 AM, but couldn't locate the cache.

Had about an hour to spare this arvo so decided to see how many of the cannonball series I could track down. Not too many as it turns out, found three mint tins and dnf three bison tubes. Spent too ling searching for those pesky bison tubes.
I'll be back

Out with Chwiliwr and Mistraluna doing a catchup of caches in the area. Another cache that the better half and I were unable to find the other day. Coordinates were further out today than the other day but it was found eventually.
Thanks JacobsCrew for the cache.

Jumped on a northbound train this morning and headed up to visit Chwiliwr. After a cuppa and chat, we decided to head out a grab a few caches before heading south again for this afternoon's Thedivespot event in Port Kennedy. This one took the longest time of all to find, but we weren't leaving without it. Found it eventually. Thanks Jacobs Crew

I was out on a day of caching with skippy 46 mainly to pick up JacobsCrew caches and a few other ones close by. I managed to clear up all my previous DNFS. We found 18 today but now i have 6 more DNFS to come back and find another time...
this was another cache i had a DNF on last time. Searched for a while and decided to once again PAF once again. After being directed to where to look it turns out i was standing right next to it. I dont know how i didnt spot this one before....TFTC JacobsCrew

Searched for awhile, ooh yeh PAF who confirmed we were searching in the right area, turned around and it was staring at us in the face.
DOH!!

Heaps of hiding places, but could not find it...Arrggg! Will try in the weekend.
Another where the GPS took us between two equally likely objects. Made a reasonable search of both but when it got teadious gave it away.
Had a good hunt around GZ and besides plenty of obvious nooks and crannys..no joy. Think will need to widen search out and revisit.
If this is the hide near a log and a paperbark, I gave them each 3 minutes of searching and wondered, "Why hide something so tiny with minimal description when there are so many hiding spots?", and moved on. Again, not a reflection on your cache, just on my blunt approach to caching these days.
Came back up this way this morning to pick a few more caches up.
I had 2 DNFS today and this was one of them. I searched for a while but couldnt find the cache TFTH JacobsCrew

Just finished breakfast when the phone started going off.
With so many new caches coming in, we thought it would be fun to try for some FTF's.
Keego_and_Chil arrived seconds after us, to join in the search.
This one took some time to locate, until geo-hubby finally located it.
Joint FTF with K&C - nice to met you.
Thanks for the cache, JacobsCrew.
