Driving down to St Leonards today with Stemicmitsar to attend two events one of which was a Cito, with him chasing CITO's for fabled challenges and me just happy to go out caching plans were mad and we were off for another day of caching.
Driving on the way down we are talking about stat's and weird little things I hadn't completed yet. Oh I said I have only 1 hidden date not done I should probably should get that..... oh there is one 5km away let's go do that.
Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Mrs Dromaniax was off to the Big Smoke today to continue her photography course, and after dropping her at the station to catch the train, Mr Dromaniax decided to head out to Lara to find a cache for the day.
We have slowly been picking off the Batman series, and the Bat-Signal called again today.
It was a rapid walk to the cache, and the find was promptly completed. We are not surprised that this is the coldest start to June since we were in Primary School. We are looking forward to warmer weather, and this being the last winter we plan on spending in Victoria.
The cache is in excellent condition.
Thank you for this cache Na'wal.

Headed to Lara this morning to find a few caches before work.
A stroll in a quiet park to GZ, and a neat container found tucked away.
The resident in the cache, who wasn't too happy about being disturbed, and hid in his kitchen cupboards, meant this cache could well be named after another superhero.

Not 100% sure if what I found was the cache but going on other descriptions it probably was. Pretty wet, gross and infested and I couldn’t find a log but didn’t search the ‘container’ too thoroughly either.
Found it quick enough. This cache has become home to many creepy crawlies so open with care.
*Found on the 28 Dec 2020 @ 8:56 am.*
*Cache find # 11199.*
I was in the area to finally finish off another cache and I noticed this one on the map that I had not found yet so I went for a look.
I arrived at GZ, went to where the compass was telling me to go and there it was, upon opening I found that there was a slight earwig infestation, there are hundreds of the buggers and a couple of huntsmans as well.
I managed to retrieve the cache and stamp the log and then put it all back.
**Thanks to Na'wal for placing this cache.**

Found the actual cache first lying in the open. Then spied the housing open and on the ground but seemingly intact.
(A fav point for the effort)
We put things back together and replaced appropriately in the logical place as per hint.

Thank you Na'wal, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.
This tie breaker was found by me! A great cache! Surprisingly not inhabited by beetles!

Found today. I recommend spraying this with insect surface spray. Was a decent size spider inside that keep us from signing the log. Otherwise it’s great.
After finding Poison Ivy earlier today we had to seek out Batman himself. The find was easily located but there was a *huge* spider inside the Bat Cave and lots of potential baby spiders as well. Fortunately the log was retrieved without disturbing the residents. Another cool hide. TFTC!
Went out on a sunny morning, found the cache and as I was signing the log it started hailing out of nowhere! I got soaked Left a trackable and a very on brand figurine TFTC
With nothing important to be done today, I decided to come out for a stroll and to add a few more smiles around Lara before we move on again. This one I found after a brief detour from the nearby Crocodile Lake series.
I left a trackable to continue it's journey.
Thanks

Stopped near here to do a walk around the lake with OzHockeyChick, beckNmonts and Geoturtle37 There were a few muggles but they had no interest in us. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
3:51 pm #7011
Had a bit of time to kill before high tide at Hovells Creek, so Papi4506, Geoturtle37, beckNmonts and I took the opportunity to take a lovely stroll around the lake.
Huge cache guardian here. Glad it wasn’t me who opened the cache!
Cheers Na'wal

We managed to find three of the Batman series today. Two on foot, and one via kayak. Thanks so much for placing this series Na'wal
Yep after reading the previous log the rather large arachnid is still guarding.
The cache was a little out in the open.
Luckily it looked like muggles had left the log and container.
I signed and moved on.

Well, Well. Batmans lodge complete with large arachnid guardian inside. In addition you will need to steel yourself against a number of foot soldiers with pincer tails and some very nasty "Spitfire" cacoons. Do not touch the cacoons as they have micro spears and will cause great itching. Use of gloves is highly recommended.
TFTC Na'wal. Great theme and a true adventure. TNLN

Ugh so many creepy crawlies in this one! Had to use a stick to manoeuvre the log out and avoid the two guardian spiders and 8 of the biggest caterpillars I have ever seen. Clearly these insects have found a good home! Third find in the Batman series on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Tftc!
Quick and easy find. Loved the container. Opened it had a huntsman spider on one hand and a sh*t load of earwigs
Thanks for the cache

In the area for the Christmas events, so taking the opportunity with omegaman1971 to do some of the local hides inbetween. As all the events were in different areas, it gave a variety of finds by different owners. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the day. While we met a few other teams along the way, we had some fun and laughs along the way.
There were heaps of earwigs in around this hiding spot. It was a wonder, it was still there but thankfully they didn't hinder us signing the log.
Thanks Na'wal for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

4390 Finds
In the area for a caching event and could resist some of the local hides.
After a short walk and seeing some fence designs that I love we found the gold.
Cheers for the cache.

Eww!! Bugs and more bugs. Hide full of earwigs. ( 100's ) Beneath the hide is a heap of big hairy caterpillars and their cocoons so be careful of these as they can be very irritating to the skin if you come into contact with them. Just remove with a stick.
Thx very much for another cache in this series

Cleaned out the Dark Knight's house, someone left the door open and invited a million bugs. Also a statue of batman has been stolen but otherwise all good to go again
A much longer time in the hot sun to reach this one. Soon found but cache in a sorry way. Contents scattered but log sodden but still there. Tried to sign but tearing the paper more than leaving a clear mark. Thanks Na'wal
Couldnt reach with my wheelchair but lucky i have a walker friend with me to grab it for me. Removed the live spider that was living inside the box.
After lunching locally I set out to find 3 local caches. This is a nice area for a stroll but it was still too windy which spoiled things a bit.
A lovely creative hide this one.
Thanks

Had a big day of caching and travelling that involved events in both Colac and Lara. Arrived in Geelong mid afternoon and thought we would be able to find a motel room somewhere, but we didn't realise that the footy game on tonight was Cats vs Adelaide Crows, so there wasn't a room to find anywhere. One of the local motels suggested the Little River Hotel, and a quick phone call found us a room in the motel there. Turned out this was the the best thing anyway as it was just up the road from the Lara 2-in-1 Birthdays Event, the room was quite adequate, the surroundings really peaceful (except when the pub was going off on the Saturday night) and the casual vibe was great.
We realised as we headed out to cache before the dinner event that we were only a few caches off our 2000, so we gave it our best effort in fading light (and into the darkness) to get the numbers so that our milestone could be reached at dinner.
This was one of the caches that helped us achieve this goal. We made our way to GZ in the dark and after a short search, Chook soon spotted this very nicely constructed cache. A lot of effort has gone into making this - nice work. TFTC Na'wal.
I set out today to try and achieve 100 caches in a day. This was find #6 for the day (a quick detour from the Crocodile series). I'm loving the Batman ones. Thanks heaps, Na'wal!
Detouring away from the crocodile lake series I headed up to this cache. Having found The catwoman cache earlier in the week I was pleased to get the Batman one on this visit. The cache contents are damp and probably needs attention. But a great series TFTC
Decided to spend a lazy Easter Sunday, caching with posho6 and Arkbell80. We brought the kids over to Lara for a walk around a couple of the lakes. Fifth find for the day.
Thanks Na'wal for the cache!!!
Thanks Na'wal for the cache!!!
Easter caching with Bazinga01 and Posho6 in Lara. This is our fourth find of the day and this is one cache I have wanted to get for awhile, I'm a huge BATMAN fan. Cache took a bit to find and was wet on the inside, could use a maintenance check. Took TB. TFTC
This was Erinrobnick and my 8th find for the day. Approaching gz there were dogs going crazy, turn a corner and there is a dog (and a random chicken) sitting there, luckily he was a very well behIved dog that didn't budge or make a noise. A quick little find. Thank you
Found by lauren & daniel on an evening walk. Replaced bag as cache was wet. Traded geocoin and pathtag for some swaps of ours. TFTC
A batman cache! I thougt to myself, turns out it was a pretty good hide. Took 5 minutes to find. p.s. nice hamok didn't have time to though.
Wondered about access for this one as we seemed on the wrong side of the creek but all became apparent at the location. An interesting cubby area here and hammock. Dropped off the Poker Face TB
Found by The Empire @ 1:20pm
Dodgy geese around. Had to drive to this one for the quick find. Thanks for the cache Na'wal.

Mrs ReganSeekers & I celebrate our birthdays 3 weeks apart. This year we turn the big Three-Zero so we felt a child-free Geocaching road trip was the perfect way to celebrate. We decided that we would head for the Otways & complete the Series as well as any others we passed then head to Geelong via the Coast.
After checking in to our hotel in Geelong about 8pm, we headed back out by torchlight to add some more to our list. We ended up getting back after 4am before heading back out early Sunday morning before having to trek the 2+ hour drive home, should have saved our $ and slept in the car!
Our 4th for the series and last before heading home. Will grab the rest another day for sure.
Left a Pathtag. TFTC

This year myself (Mrs Regan) and bestie becca85 have hit the big THREE-ZERO, what better way to celebrate then leaving the husbands at home with the children while we have a Geocaching road trip! Starting with the Otway Trail, then head along the coast to Geelong . All while discovering some of the favorite caches that the area gets is wonderful caching reputation from.
After only managing 1.5hrs sleep from a night of Geocaching and before the drive home, we were back into it. Being a huge Batman fan i was very glad to not leave town without having completed BATMAN himself out of all the series?!
I will be back with Mr Regan and the 3 Geokids to get the remaining we were unable to grab on our time limit, they will love this series! TFTC

Out with Geokids and MaggieDot for some school holiday caching. Very noisy dog on the corner. TFTC.
If my calculations are correct, this was the last one for AutumnTree and I today. What a cool place for the local kids to hang out - obviously lots of imagination going on here. The neighbour's dog was a bit unhappy though! TFTC!
We decided to pick up the last 2 Batman caches in Lara anefote heading back to town as that will clean Lara up for us. A bit of water in the cache container but log all good and dry.
Thanks Na'wal for the cache.
Thanks Na'wal for the cache.
Trekking with SmashedSpud and Zingered and found it after a little looking! Great spot! Logged and off to next location TFTC - Na'wal
Continuing on the night caching adventure with Zingered and BeardedHill and yet another successful find. Super stoked. TFTC!
More night geocaching after Robin!
Awesome look into Batman's lair!

gps says off by 7 mtrs so took a while as i was trying to find in a tree. should have known to look low
Found by Mary & David at 1420. A short walk from our parking spot in Kanowna Place. The neighbour's dog wasn't too happy though. Found the cache after a short search, and dropped off the "Yellow Labrador Track Tag". Our thanks to Na'wal.
We had just taken a lovely walk around the lake, completing the series found there. It was far too nice strolling around in the cool evening to even think about getting back in the car. We figured on there being just enough light left, took a quick vote, and were soon on our way to hunt for this one. This was followed by a quick stop in the playground - even darkness will not deter the 2 and 4 year olds. It was eventually the mozzies that chased us back into the car. Thanks again to na'wal!
ATTENTION. Please be aware there are exposed rusty nails about. We found out the hard way. Watch your step
Finally! So glad to be able to find this well hidden cache with Mrs Blue Duck and leave my Batman TB which I have been carrying for months. A great themed container and hide. Also close by lots of big hairy caterpillars and their cocoons which were interesting. TFTC. Just have a few more in the batman series to go.
This was my favorite cache of the day by far!!! MrsBlackDuck had a Batman TB that needed to be dropped off, so of course we had to find this one. I can see why Batman liked to play here as a kid. What a cool spot! If I were a local kid, I'd want to play here all the time. Lucky for us, it doesn't seem like the local kids play here. Batman's cave was excellent and he seems to have invited MothMan and his family to visit.
Thank you for the cache! A favorite point from me!!!!

Found this cache hidden in a very interesting place with natural surrounds. Cache was partly exposed and the log book was slightly damp. Replaced the cache and made it harder to see.
TFTC Na'wal - good to find another of your Batman Series

Was caching in the sea and noticed this one. Was sure we'd done it before but not showing as such. Recognised hide, went straight to it and checked log. Sure enough SECOND to find after dbelco back in December 2013. Forgot to log it. Doing so now as will put my numbers out otherwise lol. Tftc. Again.
Jamin and my final day time search and it didn't end well. 20 minutes searching anywhere and everywhere we could imagine a cache could be and nothing. Thanks anyway; hopefully batman lives to fight another day.
Searched with KB and after a long frustrating look around we decided to pull the pin.
Hoping this is still here.
Hoping this is still here.
Sully and I parked at the end of a court here, and walked around the corner as the rain started again. Thankfully another quick find at GZ with the good coords, and a nice touch on the top of the container.
Thanks again Na'wal
Thanks again Na'wal
Another in this series found with Bogonghazy today. The hardest part about this one was working out access, and once we had that sorted, we parked the car and took the stroll to Batmans Cave where the cache was soon spotted and logged. Thanks to Na'wal for the cache.
Find number 3 for the day and as the rain started to come down we knew it would probably be the last for the day also. A frantic search had begun but thankfully the tree cover assisted us in keeping a little bit drier. I swear we looked in the same place 6 or 7 times until this was found. The log is a bit damp but still somrwhat ok. Tftc na'wal
Thought this one may be up a tree hanging given the theme but read the hint and being a big comic reader knew the hide and there it was. Tftc
