After finishing work I decided to grab this cache for a challenge. Quick easy find here. Then headed home.
To do pickup duties from school.
/dev/gc0c thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.

Zeroed in on one spot that fit all the clues and suggestions made in previous logs but came up empty-handed so expanded our search to an area that didn’t really fit any of the clues and there it was! Thanks /dev/gc0c
Yay, another previous DNF knocked off the list. Although for a bit there I thought we weren’t going to have much luck. Glad that was not the case today. TFTC

This evening, knowing that the October Challenge cache was likely to be published, I was able to take a drive north to Bald Hills. I spent some time finding a few geocaches that were in the area and puzzles that I had previously solved, and following the challenge's publish, I took a drive to that area. It was late by the time that I had finished with that geocache, so it was then time for home and a good night's rest.
I remember solving this puzzle quite some time ago, and so it was good that I was in the area to finally find this cache. There does look like that there are a few natural wasp nests hidden around, but they must have been sleeping during my search, and I was able to make a quick find of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks /dev/gc0c for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out and about with 1Minniemoo for a bit of an adventure.
We weren't quite successful on our quest but we did find some adventure labs and a couple of caches.
1MM stopped here for me on our way home as she'd already found this one.
There are lots of wasps nests under here so look before you put your hands in!

Today I was looking at cleaning up all the little blue spots on my map and continuing a personal challenge that I have set myself. A had solved this one some time ago but never really had the time to collect and thought I would leave it for another day. Today I was in the area and I had Maddie with me, so after a maccas lunch we decided we would go for a little drive to collect.
We parked right next to the cache, I read out the hint, but I was to focused on something different. It was Maddie who said “wait dad what about these two things”. I reached in and sure enough, there it was, I am so proud of my little girl. Thank you for the hide and this moment I got to spend with my girl.
We signed the log and replaced the cache as found and went away very happy, thank you and a favourite point for our experience.

Solved this puzzle a long time ago and lucky i kept notes as i forgot how i solved it. What a fun, tricky puzzle. Today I was passing and decided to turn this into a smiley. At gz it took me a little while to spot this cache. Had to stop looking a couple of times and pretend to be on my phone while waiting for muggles walking their dogs to pass. Thans for the fun puzzle and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
At first I could only get half of the co ords but after some additional research I was able to solve this great challenge... kinda learned a few things along the way
Worked through this cache during the week. Thought it might have pushed me , but surprisingly I made the right connections at hey presto!
The coordinates were in hand and all I needed to do was await the weekend.
Found safe and well.

I have had these coordinates sitting in my phone for a while now, but just never got here, partly from saving a nearby cache or two for one of those “rainy days” where you just might need one. However today we were around this way anyway, looking for caches neither Fangsoki nor I had found, and Fang mentioned we would be near this one. A quick check of my map of finds Fang had but I didn’t, revealed he was in fact correct, so after grabbing another cache nearby, we wandered over here.
I began the search and checked the hint which I relayed to Fangsoki, who questioned it/me.
Fang tried to help, really he did, but perhaps his memory was playing tricks. I mean with his number of finds who can blame him for not remembering every exact detail.
Anyway we both looked, and I soon found the cache and was silently signing the log... much to Fangsoki’s surprise.
Thanks for the cache /dev/gc0c.

Thanks for the puzzle and the challenge at the gz which was made harder by me bumping my head and not reading the cache page on first approach! Hoping the weather improves so we can keep with the caching today! Tftc
Being the first of this type I’ve solved, this was a challenging, but fun puzzle! I’d done part of it a little while ago, but couldn’t crack the remainder so put it away. This morning I was feeling smart and decided to try again. “What’s that?” I thought - maybe...? Google confirmed my suspicions and now I had to work out the best way to bring some coordinates to life. A little while later, I had the right numbers. Quick find at GZ. TFTC
After Straylia Day Event a group of us went of in search of nearby caches and this was one. Had the coordinates previously and a quick find was made at GZ. log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
After attending the event this morning, our group of 7 went caching in the area. Puzzle took a while to solve but finally got coords. After a mixup with street names we arrived at GZ and a quick find was made. Logbook signed and then cache returned.

Monday. Slow Puncture was out and about today to claim some smilies on some solved caches. I remember I used to haunt around this area myself many moons ago Today’s find was relatively quick. Log signed and cache replaced.
This was the 6th of 6 caches found on today's trip.

We had planned to go and get a certain cache today hoping to fill our grid for the first time. Over breakfast Mr 4ando looked at this puzzle and liked the concept of the puzzle, quite interesting to have it encoded that way. Now that it was solved we thought we should pick it up while we were out this morning as well.
Arriving at GZ we jumped out of the car and saw a cabbie sitting in his car and thought this may be a problem for us, but he didn’t look at us once so we were free to get in and have a search around. It didn’t take long before we had found the treasure.

Out with Selva Girls after work this afternoon, we were picking up a solved puzzle and a few other smilies. This little blue icon has long sat on my map; so I am happy to finally have my name in the log here. Tftc and the puzzle /dev/gc0c.
Out this way and had a quick look where this was as I self navigated here. Pulled up at a lovely park only to realise that is not GZ. Oh it’s over there. Ok then. Did the pretend phone call while searching and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Well it's Thursday fun day - but it is just me caching on my own today - my usual partners in crime are either working or going to the Mega. I'm sure I can get up to some mischief though...
I have had this puzzle solved for forever, so I was very happy to see that the there had been no DNFs, although the last find was nearly 6 months ago. Thankfully, parking was easy and I took myself over to GZ. Oh very funny, I like how the name matches the location. Today has been a day of muggles being a pain, but luckilly I was able to duck in to find this one, with no interference (unlike the last two caches I had to leave because it was muggle central, grrr). All is good here and I have finally started my space voyage to Pluto. YAY! TFTC /dev/gc0c

In order to pay our dues before sucking down a nice cold Prosecco, my wife and I came out for a bit of a walk and hunt for some caches. It's always good to feel like you've achieved something before sitting down for some movies and wine. It's even better when there is a smilie as a reward for your effort.
We didn't have to do too much hiking for this cache but we did do some squats and bringing our knee in tight, but it was the pelvic thrusts that really drove us insane. No wait, that's the time warp. We did do a few squats after not being able to cop a feel of the cache and the goal was spied.
There was a warning sign left on the steps and we had to laugh about how my hearing is starting to become less than perfect. We tried to blame it on some early days of playing in a band but I think it is just more selective. Apparently my wife says things to me like, "take the bin out" or "its your nephew's birthday" or "your mum is coming over for a visit" or "its our anniversary". My hearing must be busted because I never hear any of those things. tftc

This is not a part of town that I get to very often at all so I took the opportunity to call in today on my way to a nearby event this after noon. At GZ I dithered over the right place to look but a methodical search soon turned up the hiding place. TFTC
This was a quick one to find as I pulled up there was only a few spaces I thought it could be. Luckily for me it was the first place I looked. TFTC
Time to clear up some more outstanding solved mysteries!
Neat result once the puzzle was solved!
At GZ we were met by a group of about 5 muggles who were all over the place like ants.
My charm & skill got the deed done though.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

I solved this one a couple years ago in prep for a trip to Queensland but like so many never found the time to hunt it, I made a small detour to find it tonight while in the area on a business trip and had it in hand and quickly before signing & returning just as a couple of muggles walked past.
Thanks

#16 of 25 in D/T Challenge.
All I had planned for this February was to do the "February" challenge. I went to find the cache for the February Challenge & not far away was the D/T challenge cache. I found both caches & signed the logs. I had not seriously considered doing the D/T Challenge before as it seemed too hard but once I'd signed the log I thought why not do some research & see if it is possible.
So I got together my list of 25 different D/T combinations. Calculated approximate distances I'd have to walk; what was near what; crossed out the ones that looked too hard; widened the area I was looking at; added back some hard ones; read lots of logs to gauge if I had a chance or not; picked some backups in case I had DNF's; plotted a route that was feasible; considered having driving breaks between caches I had a fair bit of walking to do; thought about traffic flow; dreamt about D/T combos & visualised the journey. Just hadn't decided when to go for it - maybe next week?
Woke up early this morning & sprung out of bed. Didn't think today would be the day but loaded the car with drinks & snacks & clothes & shoe changes (much like any other caching day) & headed to the sea to see if the tide was low enough to attempt a D1/T4 cache. It was & I did it!!
So I thought to myself this is it. Today is the day. So quick change of route as this wasn't where I thought I'd start & then caching in earnest began.
Glad I crunched the numbers on this one as a nearby DNF had the same D/T combo so this one was desperately needed for my numbers. While putting together my list for the D/T challenge, I was desperate for one more D/T combo so I started looking at mystery caches. Having some geekiness within me this one looked like a goer. I started solving the puzzle the hard way & then something clicked & after a little cut & paste a very welcome WELL DONE showed itself to me. Brings back memories. Feeling bold today I drove right up to the GZ & soon had the goody in my hands. Thanks for a puzzle I could solve quickly

I solved this one a few weeks ago and finally had a chance today to go and find it. Before leaving home I
looked it up on the map and realised the coordinates didn't look good on the map. I looked at my coordinates again and was positive I had them right.
I read back over some of the logs and noticed people talking about a second step. Hmmmmm, I hadn't really done a second step. I knew straight away what to do with the information on the page and then just did a bit of manual adjusting. I tried another way of looking at it on the map and thought there was a likely possibility so I decided to go and have a look anyway. When I arrived the coordinates put me a distance away from my possibility but following the GPS I soon found an even better possibility. After spending a little time on a thorough search of a wrong place I changed my search a little and soon had the cache in hand.
This was the last one I needed o complete my Hidden Date challenge.
A favourite point for this one for its trickiness.

Today we headed out to see how many unique D/T ratings, we could find in one day.
We started early, had a late lunch, and got back to the caravan before dark.
Our total for the day was 27, and we found a good variety of hides.
Good puzzle, took a while to sort out. Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, /dev/gc0c, for us and others to find.

Next on the list for my 25 D/T challenge was this cache. It had taken me ages to solve this puzzle, but a push from a friend, in the right direction, helped me resolve that issue. Parked in such a way that I could use the car headlights to assist in my search. No luck in that spot. Next search area was not so well lit. Had to use the torch on my phone to help me locate the cache. I signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot. Off to the next one

Had a go at solving this but came up with only half a message. Went to the Brains Trust and was rewarded with a set of co-ords. Yay! Was going to do the finding and signing on the way to work but eight workmen at GZ put paid to that plan. Came back after work and had the place to ourselves. Glad to get the cache closest to home changed into a smilie. Thank you for the puzzle
I am not of the ilk that has ever used (or knew) what this puzzle used. I am more of the 'end-user' type. I had an inkling that I knew what might be involved, but it took a little longer to cotton on to the technique needed to solve it. Getting in touch with my inner geek was a fun journey. The 'aha' moment was perfect!.
Of to GZ today and would have been tough without the hint. Even with it, I still took a little long than expected. Cache ultimately found in good condition, signed and returned to its hide hole.
Thanks for an enjoyable and educational puzzle.

I managed to solve this one with only a little bit of a nudge in the right direction, but solve it I did Today I was cruising past the general area with Jelly the Wonderdog and decided to make this my cache for the day. I seem to end up with a lot of solved caches but never actually go for the find. We pulled up at GZ and I knew exactly where I should be looking, just a process of elimination. I finally find just the right spot and soon had the beasty in hand. After signing the log I replaced the cache as it had been found.

So I had an inkling of what the code might be but not sure what its called. Naturally he took one look and knew exactly what to do. Problem solved in a matter of seconds.
So nice to have a smiley and not a taunting unsolved puzzle.
We'd been out since early doing some other puzzles in the area and decided to stop for a bite to eat at a nearby park. As I drove in I had a little moment as I realised how close we were to GZ.
Quickly located the little beast.

Knew someone who tried to place a cache nearby but couldn't because of proximity, so I thought I'd try to decipher the web. What did we do before Google? Found something that decoded the gobbldy-gook, but a part did not align until I found the magic bullet. Then presto! It was like seeing a Magic Eye puzzle for the first time. Now know why the other cache could not be placed. Drove by this morning and made the easy grab. tftc /dev/gc0c A fav from me.
Out and about with doscrapbooking for a leisurely day: a few caches, some shopping, ahhh... happy sigh
Mmmm... solving this one gave me some grief A friend gave me a nudge and I was able to make some of the gobbledy-gook make sense, but the most important stuff was very elusive I tried several different tools, but came up empty-handed all the time [:(!] A plea for another hint gave me the best tool, and the numbers finally jumped out and the cache went onto my solved puzzles list. Today as we were in the area we headed to GZ and the cache was a very quick find. TFTC, /dev/gc0c.

Right. This is my third go at logging this one, not sure where my logs are disappearing to. ;-/
I solved this one quite easily. My usual puzzle solving methods revealed some promising results with this one. It only took a few waves on the super net to catch the right one.
very interesting indeed. Some lovely numbers in front of me.
I added my name to the log a few weeks ago when I headed to the dark side to tidy up some other soved puzzles.
Good work

Found with Bedmaker.
We were on our way past the area today so decide to call in and grab this one.
I liked this puzzle. I knew what was required right away and had the right skills.
Many thanks

Found with Tassiegirl13 who had the skills to show me how this was is done.
I tried a few different things to start but couldn’t really get anywhere. When I showed to Tassiegirl she said no it was easy.
Right so with ......and a bit of ????? it turned out it was pretty easy.
I contributed by knowing the area where GZ was so while on the way to the nearby Bunning’s for those weekend hardware supplies we called in for the find.

I had a look at this one the other night and thought I would be no chance of solving it. I started to play around with a few ideas and it wasn't long before I had some numbers.
Out yesterday so thought I would pick it up on the way home before escaping from the heat into air con for the rest of the day.
Thanks for a fantastic puzzle and cache /dev/gc0c. A fav from me.

Whilst munching on some lunch, I was looking for a cache to do today to tidy up another day on my caching calendar. This one popped up. I recognised what needed to be done, and with a bit of a search, soon came up with an appropriate tool.
And hey presto! What a really neat puzzle! I really liked how all that gobbledegook just disolved. Coordinates saved. Tonight, I visited those coordinates and parked very close to the cache, to make good use of the headlights.
Container was very quickly found, thanks to the hint - in good order. Thanks for the puzzle, /dev/gc0c. Favourite point for the interesting puzzle construction.

Well, what do you do on a quiet Friday night? You guessed it. Solve a puzzle, in half an hour.
My eyeballs nearly stuck to the computer screen when the numbers appeared. Noone helped me, not even a whisper. I just played around and then it happened. More a computer geek than I thought I was. [^]
Now what do you do when you solve said puzzle? You guessed it again. Go out and get it. [^]
Poor geopartner wanted to go to sleep but I convinced him to take a quick ride down the highway to get this one. Ok rather than let me go alone. Off we went and in half an hour arrived at GZ. I was out of the car in two shakes and found the cache where I had seen it on Google Maps and did a little jig in the dark cause I was right signed the log and hopped back in the geomobile to make the journey back up the highway home.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks /dev/gc0c All good with this cache
A favourite from me for using my computer skills to solve it

Left this one for Barb to solve while I brought home the bacon.
With the puzzle solved, we added this on our list to do for our day of caching with GT54.
Last one for the day and a quick find to the female member of GT54.
Log signed, cache replaced.

Cache find #1140. Had help with solving this cache. Out with geocaching friends today, and this cache was on the list to find. Found our way to GZ and cache was quickly located. TFTC.
Mmmmm......nicely done!
Once again we where away in Tassie when this one was released and like Pprime, we groaned........and groaned.......and ......you know the rest. [B)] Unfortunately we didn't have the tools to solve this one while away, so had to wait until we got home but there were so many things we needed to do that every time I looked at this one I just put it to one side. [xx(] I needed to do some thinking and looking and I just couldn't be bothered, but, it was bugging me. [:(!] I had thought of getting together with a fellow geocacher to put our heads together as I knew the first bit but the next part took a little longer to work out. Then I realised what I should be doing and after a few minutes of this and that......well, well, well I have nice big number. Once solved I messaged geocaching friend who said basically about time; I solved it last night!!!!
So off we head today to a nice handy place to find the cache quickly, oh I feel much better now!
A favourite point from us.
Thanks /dev/gc0c for the cache.

I am very lucky to have a Captain Terror who can solve puzzles when I send them to him. I saw this one pop up and after looking at the puzzle I felt like sending the cache owner a very cranky message Instead I asked the Captain if he could have a look at it for me. Turns out he was one step ahead and he had already solved the puzzle.
Tonight we weren't very fair away so decided we should head down and have a look for the container. We parked the car and using the headlights started searching. It took the Captain less than a minute to spot the container and we retired to the Rolla to sign the logbook. The Captain replaced the cache and we were off for the next one. Thanks for the cache /dev/gc0c.

Normally I would write a log like this in the same spirit as the original puzzle but well.. I can't work out how to encode squat in that fashion. Again I dip my hat to you /dev/gc0c.
I first saw this puzzle when stalking a friend's finds and was intrigued. I had a look at the cache page and 'sort-of' recognised the 'language' but it didn't occur to me how to work through it. I read through some logs and left it at that. Only a short time later I had a thought that crossed my mind while thinking about what I'd seen and things I've seen in the past in my learnings and how a certain previous log arose a suspicion.
A quick play about on google and I found something useful. From there it all came together quick quickly for me. I was impressed, it's not a field I normally dabble in. Maybe that is why I was so damn impressed with the final result. Hence was my first dip of the proverbial hat.
So tonight in the area with Net88 who had suggested this cache and I was happy to have final co-ords at my disposal (and the final location tickled me, even on streetview). We made our way to the area and with GZ lit up by headlights, I made a quick find. It is clear this puzzle and the final location have been well thought out and set to a theme nicely. Such things make me smile. With the logbook signed, I replaced all as found. TFTC /dev/gc0c, a favourite point from me

It was quite unusual for me to look at a puzzle that gets published recently... but the name caught my eye.
I scanned over it and came up with a solution quite quickly. I even surprised myself - compared to the last /dev/gc0c puzzle I attempted.... at least I am good at some puzzles
I was in the area today and dropped by. Without a soul to be seen, I searched and soon found the cache safe and sound. It was in good condition.
A nice little hide.. and a nice little puzzle that must have taken a bit of effort. Have a favourite point on account.
Congrats to EngPhil and his kin on the FTF

One of my many GEO Goals this year was to close the year with no active unfound caches on the northside of Brisbane Council area. From The Brisbane River to the Pine River and the M5 to the coast. I am almost done.
This little green box popped up on my almost empty map recently. To a very large groan! Really? A nasty dev/gc0c puzzle mucking up my almost clean map so close tot he end of the year? I still have nightmares and cold sweats remembering the last one.
OK. I happened to have a little bit of time at home on the morning of it's release - I knew I couldn't get out to get a FTF or anything silly like that, but I thought I'd put it through a few tools I've got or have built to see what pops.
Yep, exactly as expected. Nothing. Then I had a left-field thought. What if I do "this" and then "that" to it ... oooooooohhhhhhhh
Oh that's cool. Nicely done that man!
So, as 2013 winds down, here I am out and about this day as the year 2013 winds to a close, ready to remedy those little unopened boxes on my map. Yep, quick find in the second place I looked at GZ. Lovely work, and another one off the list.
Thanks for placing this cache, /dev/gc0c. Found in good condition.

Easter weekend 2nd-6th April 2015 in Stanthorpe, QLD.
It was a joint effort in solving this puzzle .
Yesterday Matt quickly worked out what he had to do with the first part but we couldn't quite get the coordinates for the second part. With FTF gone (congrats EngPhil), we had to abandon the puzzle for another day as we had a belated Christmas lunch with Matt's family .
This morning we had no where to go so I sat down and slowly worked out the coordinates . It took a while as I was thinking of something else but once I figured out a couple of things it was reasonably easy .
Matt told me the hint on the way to GZ so when we got there I thought I knew where to look but couldn't find the cache. Matt had a go and found the cache straight away .
All is good with the cache . TFTC /dev/gc0c and for a fun puzzle . It's been a while since we solved a puzzle cache .

#1074: *FTF* at 9:26 with MissGeosie and MissSuzie.
Back at the breakfast table with the kids after securing another joint FTF close to home, I pulled out the phone and looked at the morning's publications again.
I'd glossed over this one first up, since (a) there was a much closer one, and (b) it's a /dev/gc0c puzzle, and I know how devious he can be
However, upon first inspection, I saw some familiar features and knew immediately what had to be done.
A bit awkward on the iPhone, I stumbled up to the office (breakfast plate in hand) and, still munching away, did what had to be done. *Bing*, there's some great looking numbers Oh, hah, I know where that is....
"Hey kids, want to go try for an FTF?" MissGeosie decided her breakfast was done, and MissSuzie soon followed. Out the door, into the car, and off to GZ. Literally.
Less than a minute of searching turned up a container, and in it... a blank log! Yay, *FTF* at 09:26. Two within an hour. Can't complain about that [^]
Thanks for the cache, /dev/gc0c, and thanks for a puzzle I can actually solve for once [^] The little "easter eggs" provided some amusement, as well

3TF late this afternoon. I was in the area for some more 'research' on another cache and decided to grab this fresh one after solving it at home this morning. I had a pretty good idea of what might be required but was still surprised that it all opened up so nicely for me: I'm getting used to long periods of suffering with caches in this area, it seems!
Boxing day afternoon seemed a good time to grab this rather cheeky hide. I didn't interpret the hint too readily, but after going under, all became clear.
TFTC Dev and all the best for a successful new year of caching!

Took a look at the puzzle when I saw the notification come through and managed to get step 1 out very quickly. Step 2 took a lot longer. I found the right track but wasn't sure about how to decode and ended up doing it manually. Needless to say, it took a while. Thought we might be in with an ftf chance but by the time I had the coords and refreshed the cache page, EngPhil had been and gone. Congrats to the EngPhil crew . We were heading out that way anyway (productive day in the Lokipagan household!) so stopped by the cache on the way. After a bit of a hunt, Pagan spotted the cache. We took the hint a bit too literally and spent far too much time looking for a nano in another spot. Thanks for a fiddly little puzzle and a boxing day cache
