Logs
Had a good look for this one but as previous cacher has indicated there is now a lot of work going on where cache should be. Think it has now gone for good.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Nothing that matched the hint unfortunately, and some surveyors seemed to have been at work in the area.
Not really a maintenance, more of a note.
If anyone has information on this area being developed and that the cache isnt found, please log a DNF or a needs maintenance and I will archive it.
For now the cache seems to have survived.
Cheers

#13020. Another cache that is probably not long for this world. Horse pickup station is gone, as are the trees just behind the fenceline. The cache is still there, but I suspect the fence line will be demolished as part of the development work. TFTC.
Could have done with some horse poo in the garden, but no sign of it - probably in readiness for the new developments here. Another cache with numbered days, methinks.
We timed our run well because as soon as we had signed the log book, the rain and hail started again, so raced back to the car - boy, does that hail sting! TFTC.

nice and relaxing drive-in day today. second try, muggles around on the first one . thanks for the box, rolofant
found container and a note about pineapples, so signed that piece of paper, can’t stop a cacher, just sad to see a fellow cacher messing with caches, TFTC
It seems a ransom note has been left in the cache instead of a log. I signed the back of the note but will need a new log. There was a man selling ponga trees at the cache who I had a good chat to.
This bike ride was full of innovative caches, thanks to those who placed and maintained them!
No horse poo for sale today, but beware of wire across pull over area. Dangerous when pulling off what is now an extremely busy road. Cache soon in hand. TFTC
Spot of late night caching in light drizzle after the wood turners Christmas breakup. Nice to have an easy find after a DNF & a head scratcher. Seemed a good cache to finally say goodbye to Fern the Possum TB. TFTC sharkiefan
With some near by council works causing a muggle problem on our first attempt, we decided to re visit under the cover of rain.
All clear this time for a quick P&G.

Dusted of the bike for a nice ride around ChCh great way to explore before he Mega gets to busy. thanks for the cache
I remember when there used to be a fruit or vege stand here, not any more. And a cache across the road too, some golf themed one. All done now though. Cheers
[green] A late start today - I had to pick up my car (all four cylinders working now, yay!) and catch up with a fellow cacher at Uni, so my second find was not till about 10:30. Despite that I still met my objective - 40 caches in one day, and all by bike! The highlight was the Back to the Future event and having a go on a hoverboard! (sort of).
Rural caching! Yes!!

Pulled over. Saw the horses and signed the log. Cache in good condition. Didn't see the poo!
Having driven past here before (foiled by road cones and high traffic levels) I noticed the other day that access was restored. Tonight I was this close <-> to letting my streak end as I'd finished my day about 5.30pm and had cold weather and traffic to contend with. In the end, though, I decided to come and find this wee cache. I'm pleased I did as it was a nice quick find and traffic wasn't so bad over here.

After finishing my work commitments I had time to find a few caches before heading back to my hotel for dinner and bed. I must admit that I prefer wool... Anyway, the cache was a quick find. TFTC, Biggles.

After the event, I decided I may as well find a chache given how far south I already was.
Pinned this one as a possible simple solution. And sure enough, it was pretty simple.
Parked on the other side of the road, and tried to cross -- that's probably what took the longest! Find was easy
Consec caching day # 859
TFTC!!

A few quick find at the end of the day, this was #2.
Thanks, sharkiefan - steady stream of traffic at 7pm or so.

Quick find and saw a cyclist stop so waited for him to move on then realised he had a gps in his hand. Chatted to Rufsta for a bit before carrying onto the next cache. I've read a couple of logs where the Anticacher has been, why do people insist on trying to ruin things for others. Thanks for the cache Sharkiefan

I was on my way to do the Motorway series of caches today but ended up finding 36 caches on my 25 km walk. When I reached here I had walked more than 20km and was ready for a rest. The cache had been muggled. It seems that a spoilsport had found the cache, removed the logbook and put a silly ransome note in the box. I found a further two caches that had been treated in the same way. Pathetic.

Today I rode my bicycle through Christchurch. I was able to discover many beautiful spots and find geocaches. Thank you to each of the owners for the hide geocaches.
Needed a quick find so went to one of my rainy day caches. A nice quick find with great parking.
Thanks for the hide.

We've got our own poo (dog) at home, so we didn't mind that we didn't see any horse poo for sale.
Over shot this one,so had to turn around between the busy road Traffic.Found quickly while a hive of activity was going on over the Road in the new Subdivision.TFTH
A night-time find - quick and easy, and no traffic at all, so I could sign the log without being disturbed. TFTC.
A very quick stop. Lots of construction going on out this way. Whole new suburbs springing up!
After a successful shopping expedition it was time to grab a few caches and take a walk in the afternoon sun before heading to South Canterbury for the week to work. A quick park on grab on my way out of town after doing a few more of the caches along the southern motorway. TFTC
Great day caching in Canterbury, this was one of 70 or more caches found, Cool start to the day, with the odd shower but fine for most of the day my first big caching road trip in a long time. - Many thanks to all the cache placers
Thanks Bitsprayer.
Thanks Bitsprayer.
Plenty of poo available today, but decided it wouldn't be appreciated as hand luggage on my flight back home tonight! TFTC, #6614
Easy find thanks so much. Dropped coin "dick" off looking at the hills before continuing his journey.
Horses were watching me today, but no pooh near me. Cache found quickly and off to the next.
Was almost a Horse Poo Lake View today with all this rain that we have been having. Cache was just above the water line so a quick park and hydroplane find today. Thanks for the cache.

Heading towards 1000 caches and on consec cache #270. Sometimes you just need an easy find TFTC
Out today performing cache maintenance on the cycleway and finding caches for a challenge. I need two caches from ten owners including caches with special requirements. Plus I thought that it was high time that I collected a few of the sharkiefan caches that I have missed! Hmm. No horse poo here. Oh wait, there it is on the other side. Found the cache and as I stood at my car signing the log, people drove by honking. Something on my car or geocachers? Cheers sharkiefan for the caches!
A nice quick find here too and thankfully it wasnt near said poo. Thanks for the cache

6079. Decided to finish off the motorway cycle caches this morning after starting at the Awatea/ Wigram Road entrance. Did a couple of extras when I had finished before returning home for lunch. Easy find. Reminds me of growing childhood in the country in England when we children were sent out to collect the manure from the New Forest ponies for the vegetable garden. Thanks, Rodney.
Bit of an obstacle course with all the orange cones all over the road but managed to pull over to find the cache. Smell of fresh pine from nearby tree this morning.
What a sweet aroma was on the air this morning, not at all what I was expecting. The smell of pines wafted on the breeze and made it a very pleasant stop. I thought that horse poo would have smelt really strong, but not today, and yes there were bags of it for sale there. I'm not sure how much they'll sell today with all those traffic cones out. Man this is one busy spot! TFTC
Out on a Wigram cyclocache ride. Saw the horse poo and was glad I didn't have to search there. Some workmen with digger and stuff busy digging a trench directly opposite, so I propped my bike against the fence and pretended there something wrong with the crank. as I fetched and replaced the cache.
Last time we came to get this one we were thwarted by workmen across the road. Today they were not there so it was a quick find. TFTC.
TFTC. A necessary visit to Shands Rd this pm seemed like an invitation to have a look for a few caches that have been mushrooming up in this area, as have the houses!!
Also my first real test out fro my new GPS, all very exciting.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no poo available for me to purchase for my garden, had to settle for signing the log instead.
Thanks sharkiefan for placing the cache.
